Psalmów 138

1 Psalm Dawida. Będę cię wysławiał, [PANIE], z całego mego serca; będę ci śpiewał wobec bogów.

A Psalm for David, of Aggaeus and Zacharias. I will give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart; and I will sing psalms to you before the angels; for you have heard all the words of my mouth.

2 Oddam ci pokłon ku twej świętej świątyni i będę wysławiał twoje imię za miłosierdzie twoje i prawdę; bo wywyższyłeś twoje imię i słowo ponad wszystko.

I will worship towards your holy temple, and give thanks to your name, on account of your mercy and your truth; for you have magnified your holy name above every thing.

3 W dniu, gdy [cię] wzywałem, wysłuchałeś mnie i mocą posiliłeś moją duszę.

In whatever day I shall call upon you, hear me speedily; you shall abundantly provide me with your power in my soul.

4 Wszyscy królowie będą cię wysławiali, PANIE, gdy usłyszą słowa twoich ust.

Let all the kings of the earth, o Lord, give thanks to you; for they have heard all the words of your mouth.

5 I będą śpiewali o drogach PANA, że wielka jest chwała PANA.

And let them sing in the ways of the Lord; for great is the glory of the Lord.

6 A [choć] wywyższony jest PAN, jednak ma wzgląd na pokornego, a wyniosłego poznaje z daleka.

For the Lord is high, and [yet] regards the lowly; and he knows high things from afar off.

7 Choćbym chodził pośród utrapienia, ożywisz mnie; wyciągniesz swoją rękę przeciw gniewowi moich nieprzyjaciół, a twoja prawica mnie wybawi.

Though I should walk in the midst of affliction, you will quicken me; you have stretched forth your hands against the wrath of mine enemies, and your right hand has saved me.

8 PAN dokona [wszystkiego] za mnie. PANIE, twoje miłosierdzie [trwa] na wieki; nie opuszczaj dzieł twoich rąk.

O Lord, you shall recompense [them] on my behalf: your mercy, O Lord, [endures] for ever: overlook not the works of your hands.
