Łukasza 13
1 W tym samym czasie niektórzy z [tam] obecnych oznajmili mu o Galilejczykach, których krew Piłat zmieszał z ich ofiarami.
Now there were present some, in that very season, bringing tidings to him, concerning the Galilaeans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 A Jezus im odpowiedział: Czy myślicie, że ci Galilejczycy byli większymi grzesznikami niż wszyscy inni Galilejczycy, że to ucierpieli?
And, answering, he said unto them—Suppose ye, that, these Galilaeans, had become, sinners beyond all the Galilaeans, because, these things, they have suffered?
3 Bynajmniej, mówię wam, lecz jeśli nie będziecie pokutować, wszyscy tak samo zginiecie.
Nay! I tell you, but, except ye repent, ye, all, in like manner, shall perish.
4 Albo czy myślicie, że tych osiemnastu, na których runęła wieża w Siloam i zabiła ich, było większymi winowajcami niż wszyscy ludzie mieszkający w Jerozolimie?
Or, those eighteen, upon whom fell the tower in Siloam, and slew them, suppose ye that, they, had become, debtors, beyond all the men who were dwelling in Jerusalem?
5 Bynajmniej, mówię wam, lecz jeśli nie będziecie pokutować, wszyscy tak samo zginiecie.
Nay! I tell you, but, except ye repent, ye, all, in the same way, shall perish.
6 I opowiedział [im] taką przypowieść: Pewien [człowiek] miał drzewo figowe zasadzone w swojej winnicy. Przyszedł i szukał na nim owocu, lecz nie znalazł.
And he went on to speak this parable: —A certain man had, a fig-tree, planted in his vineyard, and he canto seeking fruit therein, and found none.
7 Wtedy powiedział do rolnika: Oto od trzech lat przychodzę, szukając owocu na tym drzewie figowym, lecz nie znajduję. Zetnij je, bo po co ziemię [na darmo] zajmuje?
And he said unto the vine-dresser—Lo! three years, I come, seeking fruit in this fig-tree, and find none. Cut it down! Why doth it make, even the round useless?
8 Lecz on mu odpowiedział: Panie, zostaw je jeszcze na ten rok, aż je okopię i obłożę nawozem.
And, he, answering, saith unto him—Sir! let it alone this year also, until such time as I dig about it, and throw in manure, —
9 Może wyda owoc, a jeśli nie, wtedy je zetniesz.
and if it may bear fruit for the future; …but, otherwise, certainly, thou shalt cut it down.
10 I nauczał w jednej z synagog w szabat.
And he was teaching in one of the synagogues, on the Sabbath.
11 A była [tam] kobieta, która od osiemnastu lat miała ducha niemocy i była pochylona, i w żaden sposób nie mogła się wyprostować.
And lo! a woman, having a spirit of weakness eighteen years, —and was bowed together, and unable to lift herself up, at all.
12 Gdy Jezus ją zobaczył, przywołał ją do siebie i powiedział: Kobieto, jesteś uwolniona od swojej choroby.
And, seeing her, Jesus called her and said to her—Woman! thou art loosed from thy weakness, —
13 I położył na nią ręce, a ona natychmiast wyprostowała się i chwaliła Boga.
and laid on her his hands; and, instantly, she was made straight again, and began glorifying God.
14 Wtedy przełożony synagogi, oburzony tym, że Jezus uzdrowił w szabat, powiedział do ludzi: Jest sześć dni, w których należy pracować. W te dni przychodźcie i leczcie się, a nie w dzień szabatu.
But the synagogue-ruler, answering, being greatly displeased that, on the Sabbath, Jesus had healed, began saying unto the multitude—Six days, there are, in which men ought to get their work done; On them, therefore, come and be healed, and, not on the day of rest.
15 Ale Pan mu odpowiedział: Obłudniku, czyż każdy z was w szabat nie odwiązuje swego wołu albo osła od żłobu i nie prowadzi, żeby go napoić?
The Lord answered him, and said—Hypocrites! Doth not, each one of you, on the Sabbath, loose his ox or ass from the manger, and, leading it away, give it drink?
16 A ta córka Abrahama, którą szatan wiązał już osiemnaście lat, czyż nie miała być uwolniona od tych więzów w dzień szabatu?
But, this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan had bound, lo! eighteen years, was there not a needs-be that she should be loosed from this bond, on the day of rest?
17 A gdy to mówił, zawstydzili się wszyscy jego przeciwnicy, a cały lud cieszył się ze wszystkich chwalebnych czynów dokonywanych przez niego.
And, as he was saying, these, things, all who had been setting themselves against him were being put to shame; and, all the multitude, were rejoicing over all the glorious things which were being brought to pass by him.
18 Potem [Jezus] powiedział: Do czego podobne jest królestwo Boże i z czym je porównam?
He went on to say, therefore—Whereunto, is the kingdom of God, like? And, whereunto, shall I liken it?
19 Podobne jest do ziarna gorczycy, które człowiek wziął i posiał w swoim ogrodzie. Wyrosło i stało się wielkim drzewem, a ptaki niebieskie gnieździły się w jego gałęziach.
It is, like, unto a grain of mustard seed, which a man took and cast into his own garden; and it grew, and became a tree, and, the birds of heaven, lodged amongst its branches.
20 I znowu powiedział: Do czego przyrównam królestwo Boże?
And, again, he said—Whereunto, shall I liken the kingdom of God?
21 Podobne jest do zakwasu, który wziąwszy, kobieta włożyła w trzy miary mąki, aż wszystko się zakwasiło.
It is, like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, until, the whole, was leavened.
22 I nauczał, chodząc po miastach i wioskach [i] podążając w kierunku Jerozolimy.
And he was journeying on, city by city and village by village, and making, progress, unto Jerusalem.
23 I ktoś go zapytał: Panie, czy mało jest tych, którzy będą zbawieni? On zaś im odpowiedział:
And one said unto him—Lord! are they, few, who are being saved? And, he, said unto them—
24 Usiłujcie wejść przez ciasną bramę, bo mówię wam, że wielu będzie chciało wejść, lecz nie będą mogli.
Be striving to enter through the narrow door; for, many, I say unto you, will seek to enter, and will not be able, —
25 Gdy gospodarz wstanie i zamknie drzwi, zaczniecie stać na zewnątrz i pukać do drzwi, mówiąc: Panie, Panie, otwórz nam! A [on] wam odpowie: Nie znam was [i nie wiem], skąd jesteście.
when once the householder shall rouse himself, and lock the door, and ye begin to stand, outside, and to knock at the door, saying—Lord! open to us; and he shall answer and say unto you—I know you not, whence ye are.
26 Wtedy zaczniecie mówić: Jedliśmy i piliśmy z tobą, i nauczałeś na naszych ulicach.
Then, will ye begin to say—We did eat and drink in thy presence, and, in our broadways, thou didst, teach;
27 A on powie: Mówię wam, nie znam was [i nie wiem], skąd jesteście; odstąpcie ode mnie wszyscy, którzy czynicie nieprawość.
And he will speak, saying unto you—I know not whence ye are; Depart from me, all workers of unrighteous—
28 Tam będzie płacz i zgrzytanie zębów, gdy ujrzycie Abrahama, Izaaka, Jakuba i wszystkich proroków w królestwie Bożym, a samych siebie wyrzuconych precz.
There, will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, as soon as ye see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and, yourselves, being thrust forth outside.
29 I przyjdą inni ze wschodu i z zachodu, z północy i z południa, i zasiądą za stołem w królestwie Bożym.
And they shall have come from east and west, and from north and south, and be made recline in the kingdom of God.
30 Tak oto są ostatni, którzy będą pierwszymi, i są pierwsi, którzy będą ostatnimi.
And lo! there are, last, who shall be, first, and there are, first, who shall be, last;
31 W tym dniu przyszli niektórzy z faryzeuszy i powiedzieli mu: Wyjdź i odejdź stąd, bo Herod chce cię zabić.
In that very hour, came near certain Pharisees, saying unto him, Go forth, and be journeying hence, because, Herod, desireth to slay thee.
32 I powiedział im: Idźcie i powiedzcie temu lisowi: Oto wypędzam demony i uzdrawiam dziś i jutro, a trzeciego dnia zakończę.
And he said unto them—Go and tell this fox, Lo! I am casting out demons, and, cures, am I finishing, to-day, and to-morrow, —
33 Jednak dziś, jutro i pojutrze muszę przebyć drogę, bo niemożliwe jest, aby prorok zginął poza Jerozolimą.
and, on the third, I am to be made perfect. Nevertheless, I must needs, to-day, and tomorrow, and the following, be journeying on, because it is impossible that a prophet perish, outside Jerusalem.
34 Jeruzalem, Jeruzalem, które zabijasz proroków i kamienujesz tych, którzy są do ciebie posłani. Ile razy chciałem zgromadzić twoje dzieci, tak jak kokoszka [gromadzi] swoje kurczęta pod skrzydła, a nie chcieliście!
Jerusalem! Jerusalem! she that slayeth the prophets, and stoneth them that are sent unto her! How often, have I desired to gather together thy children, like as a hen, her own brood, under her wings, —and ye did not desire!
35 Oto wasz dom zostanie wam pusty. Zaprawdę powiadam wam, że nie ujrzycie mnie, aż przyjdzie [czas], gdy powiecie: Błogosławiony, który przychodzi w imieniu Pana.
Lo! your house is left to you. [And] I say unto you—In nowise shall ye see me, until ye say, —Blessed, is he that cometh in the name of the Lord!
