II Królewska 10
1 Achab zaś miał siedemdziesięciu synów w Samarii. I Jehu napisał list, i wysłał [go] do Samarii do książąt Jizreel – do starszych i do tych, którzy wychowywali [synów] Achaba – ze słowami:
And [belonged] to Ahab seventy sons in Samaria and he wrote Jehu letters and he sent [them] Samaria to [the] officials of Jezreel the elders and to the guardians Ahab saying.
2 Jak tylko dotrze do was ten list, a są przecież z wami synowie waszego pana, macie też rydwany, konie, miasto obronne i uzbrojenie;
And now when comes the letter this to you and [are] with you [the] sons of master your and [are] with you chariotry and horses and a city of fortification and weaponry.
3 Upatrzcie sobie najlepszego i najodpowiedniejszego z synów waszego pana, posadźcie na tronie jego ojca i walczcie o dom waszego pana.
And you will see the good and the right of [the] sons of master your and you will set [him] on [the] throne of father his and fight on [the] house of master your.
4 Lecz oni bardzo się przerazili i powiedzieli: Oto dwaj królowie nie ostali się przed nim, a jakże my się ostoimy?
And they were afraid very very and they said there! [the] two the kings not they stood before him and how? will we stand we.
5 Wtedy ten, który był [postawiony] nad domem, i ten, który był nad miastem, starsi oraz wychowawcy [synów króla] wysłali do Jehu wiadomość: Jesteśmy twoimi sługami. Uczynimy wszystko, co nam rozkażesz. Nie ustanowimy żadnego króla. Czyń, co uznasz za dobre w swoich oczach.
And he sent [the one] who [was] over the house and [the one] who [was] over the city and the elders and the guardians to Jehu - saying [are] servants your we and all that you will say to us we will do not we will make king anyone the good in eyes your do.
6 I napisał do nich drugi list ze słowami: Jeśli jesteście moi i chcecie słuchać mego głosu, weźcie głowy synów waszego pana i przyjdźcie do mnie jutro o tym czasie do Jizreel. A synów królewskich było siedemdziesięciu mężczyzn, przebywających u znakomitych obywateli miasta, którzy ich wychowywali.
And he wrote to them a letter - second saying if [belong] to me you and to voice my - you [are] listening take [the] heads of [the] men of [the] sons of master your and come to me about this time tomorrow Jezreel towards and [the] sons of the king seventy man [were] with [the] great [people] of the city [who] were bringing up them.
7 A gdy doszedł do nich list, wzięli synów królewskich, zabili wszystkich siedemdziesięciu, włożyli ich głowy do koszy i posłali je do niego do Jizreel.
And it was when came the letter to them and they took [the] sons of the king and they slaughtered seventy man and they put heads their in baskets and they sent [them] to him Jezreel towards.
8 Posłaniec przyszedł i oznajmił mu: Przyniesiono głowy synów królewskich. A [on] powiedział: Ułóżcie je w dwa stosy u wejścia bramy – aż do poranku.
And he came the messenger and he told to him saying they have brought [the] heads of [the] sons of the king and he said make them two heaps [the] entrance of the gate until the morning.
9 Rano zaś wyszedł, stanął i przemówił do całego ludu: Jesteście sprawiedliwi. Oto uknułem spisek przeciw swemu panu i zabiłem go, ale kto zabił tych wszystkich?
And it was in the morning and he went out and he stood and he said to all the people [are] righteous you here! I I conspired on master my and I killed him and who? did he strike down all these.
10 Wiedzcie teraz, że nie upadnie na ziemię [nic] ze słowa PANA, które PAN wypowiedział przeciwko domowi Achaba. PAN bowiem uczynił to, co wypowiedział przez swego sługę Eliasza.
Know then that not it will fall any of [the] word of Yahweh [the] ground towards which he has spoken Yahweh on [the] house of Ahab and Yahweh he has done [that] which he spoke by [the] hand of servant his Elijah.
11 Jehu więc zabił wszystkich, którzy pozostali z domu Achaba w Jizreel, wszystkich jego możnych, jego bliskich i jego kapłanów, tak że nie zostawił spośród nich żadnego przy życiu.
And he struck down Jehu all those [who] remained of [the] house of Ahab in Jezreel and all great [men] his and acquaintances his and priests his until not he had left to him a survivor.
12 Potem wstał, odszedł i wyruszył do Samarii. Po drodze, [gdy] był w domu, gdzie pasterze strzygli owce;
And he arose and he went and he went Samaria he [was at] Beth Eked of [the] Shepherds on [the] way.
13 Jehu spotkał braci Achazjasza, króla Judy, i zapytał: Kim jesteście? Odpowiedzieli: Jesteśmy braćmi Achazjasza i idziemy pozdrowić synów króla i synów królowej.
And Jehu he found [the] brothers of Ahaziah [the] king of Judah and he said who? [are] you and they said [are] [the] brothers of Ahaziah we and we have come down for [the] peace of [the] sons of the king and [the] sons of the queen-mother.
14 Wtedy rozkazał: Pojmijcie ich żywcem. I pojmali ich żywcem, i zabili przy studni tego domu, gdzie strzyżono owce [w liczbie] czterdziestu dwóch mężczyzn. Nie oszczędził żadnego z nich.
And he said seize them alive and they seized them alive and they slaughtered them to [the] pit of Beth Eked forty and two man and not he spared anyone from them.
15 Potem odjechał stamtąd i spotkał Jonadaba, syna Rechaba, idącego mu naprzeciw. Pozdrowił go i zapytał: Czy twoje serce jest tak szczere jak moje serce wobec twojego serca? Jonadab odpowiedział: Jest. A jeśli jest, to daj mi swoją rękę. Wtedy dał mu swą rękę i wziął go do siebie na rydwan.
And he went from there and he found Jonadab [the] son of Rechab to meet him and he blessed him and he said to him ¿ [is] there with heart your right just as heart my [is] with heart your and he said Jonadab there is and there is give! hand your and he gave hand his and he took up him to himself into the chariot.
16 Potem powiedział: Jedź ze mną i zobaczysz moją gorliwość dla PANA. I wiózł go na swoim rydwanie.
And he said come! with me and look on zeal my for Yahweh and they made ride him in chariot his.
17 A gdy przyjechał do Samarii, zabił wszystkich, którzy pozostali [z domu] Achaba w Samarii, i wytracił ich według słowa PANA, które wypowiedział do Eliasza.
And he came Samaria and he struck down all those [who] remained of Ahab in Samaria until he had destroyed him according to [the] word of Yahweh which he had spoken to Elijah.
18 Potem Jehu zebrał cały lud i powiedział do niego: Achab mało służył Baalowi, Jehu będzie mu służył bardziej.
And he gathered Jehu all the people and he said to them Ahab he served Baal a little Jehu he will serve him much.
19 Teraz więc zwołajcie do mnie wszystkich proroków Baala, wszystkie jego sługi i wszystkich jego kapłanów, niech nikogo nie zabraknie. Złożę bowiem wielką ofiarę Baalowi. Ktokolwiek się nie stawi, nie pozostanie przy życiu. Lecz Jehu działał podstępnie, chcąc wytracić czcicieli Baala.
And therefore all [the] prophets of Baal all [those who] serve him and all priests his summon to me anyone may not he be missing for a sacrifice great [belongs] to me to Baal any [one] who he will be missing not he will live and Jehu he acted with guile so as to destroy [those who] serve Baal.
20 Jehu dalej rozkazał: Ogłoście święto dla Baala. I obwołano [je].
And he said Jehu consecrate an assembly to Baal and they proclaimed [it].
21 Potem Jehu rozesłał posłańców po całym Izraelu. I zeszli się wszyscy czciciele Baala, tak że nie było [spośród nich] nikogo, kto by nie przyszedł. Weszli do domu Baala i wypełnił się dom Baala od krańca aż do krańca.
And he sent Jehu in all Israel and they came all [those who] serve Baal and not he was left anyone who not he came and they went [the] house of Baal and it was filled [the] house of Baal mouth to mouth.
22 Następnie powiedział przełożonemu szatni: Wyłóż szaty dla wszystkich czcicieli Baala. I wyłożył dla nich szaty.
And he said to [the one] who [was] over the wardrobe bring out clothing for all [those who] serve Baal and he brought out for them the clothing.
23 Wtedy Jehu wraz z Jonadabem, synem Rechaba, wszedł do domu Baala i powiedział czcicielom Baala: Zbadajcie i upewnijcie się, że nie ma z wami nikogo z czcicieli PANA, ale tylko czciciele Baala.
And he went Jehu and Jonadab [the] son of Rechab [the] house of Baal and he said to [those who] serve Baal search and see lest there here with you [be] any of [the] servants of Yahweh that except [those who] serve Baal to alone them.
24 Weszli więc, aby złożyć ofiary i całopalenia. Lecz Jehu postawił sobie na zewnątrz osiemdziesięciu mężczyzn, którym powiedział: Jeśli ujdzie ktokolwiek z tego ludu, który wydaję w wasze ręce, to wasze życie będzie [zapłatą] za jego życie.
And they went to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings and Jehu he had stationed himself on the outside eighty man and he had said the man who he will escape from the men whom I [am] bringing on hands your life his in place of life his.
25 A gdy dokończono składanie całopalenia, Jehu powiedział żołnierzom i dowódcom: Wejdźcie i zabijajcie ich, [aby] nikt nie uszedł. Zabili więc [ich] ostrzem miecza i żołnierze i dowódcy powyrzucali ich. Potem poszli do miasta domu Baala.
And it was when finished he - to offer the burnt offering and he said Jehu to the runners and to the officers go strike down them anyone may not he come out and they struck down them to [the] mouth of [the] sword and they threw [them] out the runners and the officers and they went to [the] city of [the] house of Baal.
26 Wyrzucili posągi z domu Baala i spalili je.
And they brought out [the] sacred pillars of [the] house of Baal and they burned it.
27 Rozbili też posąg Baala, zburzyli dom Baala i uczynili z niego wychodek, [i jest tak] aż do dziś.
And they pulled down [the] sacred pillar of Baal and they pulled down [the] house of Baal and they made it (outhouses *QK) until this day.
28 W ten sposób Jehu wytępił Baala z Izraela.
And he destroyed Jehu Baal from Israel.
29 Nie odstąpił jednak od grzechów Jeroboama, syna Nebata, który do grzechu przywiódł Izraela – od złotych cielców, które [były] w Betel i w Dan.
Only [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel not he turned aside Jehu from after them [the] calves of gold which [were] Beth-el and which [were] in Dan.
30 Wtedy PAN powiedział do Jehu: Ponieważ dobrze postąpiłeś, wykonując to, co słuszne w moich oczach, i uczyniłeś domowi Achaba według wszystkiego, co było w moim sercu, to twoi synowie aż do czwartego pokolenia będą zasiadać na tronie Izraela.
And he said Yahweh to Jehu because that you have done well by doing the right in eyes my according to all that [was] in heart my you have done to [the] house of Ahab descendants of [the] fourth [generation] they will sit of you on [the] throne of Israel.
31 Lecz Jehu nie pilnował [tego], aby postępować z całego swego serca według prawa PANA, Boga Izraela. Nie odstąpił od grzechów Jeroboama, który przywiódł Izraela do grzechu.
And Jehu not he took care to walk in [the] law of Yahweh [the] God of Israel with all heart his not he turned aside from on [the] sins of Jeroboam which he caused to sin Israel.
32 W tych dniach PAN zaczął umniejszać Izrael: Chazael pobił ich na całym obszarze Izraela;
In the days those he began Yahweh to cut off in Israel and he struck down them Hazael in all [the] territory of Israel.
33 Od Jordanu ku wschodowi, całą ziemię Gileadu, Gadytów, Rubenitów i Manassytów, od Aroeru, który leży nad rzeką Arnon – Gilead i Baszan.
From the Jordan [the] rising of the sun all [the] land of Gilead the Gadite[s] and the Reubenite[s] and the Manassite[s] from Aroer which [is] at [the] wadi of Arnon and Gilead and Bashan.
34 A pozostałe dzieje Jehu i wszystko, co czynił, cała jego potęga, czy nie są zapisane w kronikach królów Izraela?
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehu and all that he did and all might his ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.
35 I Jehu zasnął ze swymi ojcami, i pogrzebano go w Samarii. A w jego miejsce królował jego syn Jehoachaz.
And he lay down Jehu with ancestors his and people buried him in Samaria and he became king Jehoahaz son his in place of him.
36 A czas, w którym Jehu królował nad Izraelem w Samarii, [wynosił] dwadzieścia osiem lat.
And the days which he reigned Jehu over Israel [were] twenty and eight year[s] in Samaria.
