1 Oto synowie Dawida, którzy urodzili mu się w Hebronie: pierworodny Ammon z Achinoam, Jizreelitki, drugi Daniel z Abigail, Karmelitki;
These were the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: The firstborn was Amnon by Ahinoam of Jezreel; the second was Daniel by Abigail of Carmel;
2 Trzeci Absalom, syn Maaki, córki Talmaja, króla Geszuru, czwarty Adoniasz, syn Chaggity;
the third was Absalom the son of Maacah daughter of King Talmai of Geshur; the fourth was Adonijah the son of Haggith;
3 Piąty Szefatiasz z Abitali, szósty Jitream z jego żony Egli.
the fifth was Shephatiah by Abital; and the sixth was Ithream by his wife Eglah.
4 Tych sześciu urodziło mu się w Hebronie, gdzie królował przez siedem lat i sześć miesięcy. A trzydzieści trzy lata królował w Jerozolimie.
These six sons were born to David in Hebron, where he reigned seven years and six months. And David reigned in Jerusalem thirty-three years,
5 Ci zaś urodzili mu się w Jerozolimie: Szima, Szobab, Natan i Salomon – ci czterej z Batszui, córki Ammiela.
and these sons were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon. These four were born to him by Bathsheba daughter of Ammiel.
6 I Ibchar, Eliszama, Elifelet;
David’s other sons were Ibhar, Elishua, Eliphelet,
7 Nogah, Nefeg, Jafia;
Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,
8 Eliszama, Eliada i Elifelet – dziewięciu.
Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet—nine in all.
9 Ci wszyscy byli synami Dawida, nie licząc synów z nałożnic, a ich siostrą była Tamar.
These were all the sons of David, besides the sons by his concubines. And Tamar was their sister.
10 Synem Salomona [był] Roboam, a jego synem Abia, jego synem Asa, jego synem Jehoszafat;
Solomon’s son was Rehoboam: Abijah was his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,
11 Jego synem Joram, jego synem Achazjasz, jego synem Joasz;
Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,
12 Jego synem Amazjasz, jego synem Azariasz, jego synem Jotam;
Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,
13 Jego synem Achaz, jego synem Ezechiasz, jego synem Manasses;
Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,
14 Jego synem Amon, jego synem Jozjasz;
Amon his son, and Josiah his son.
15 A synami Jozjasza [byli]: pierworodny Jochanan, drugi Joakim, trzeci Sedekiasz, czwarty Szallum.
The sons of Josiah: Johanan was the firstborn, Jehoiakim the second, Zedekiah the third, and Shallum the fourth.
16 Synowie Joakima: jego syn Jechoniasz i jego syn Sedekiasz.
The successors of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, and Zedekiah.
17 Synowie Jechoniasza: Assir, jego syn Szealatiel;
The descendants of Jeconiah the captive: Shealtiel his son,
18 Malkiram, Pedajasz, Szeneassar, Jekamiasz, Hoszama i Nedabiasz.
Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.
19 Synowie Pedajasza: Zorobabel, Szimei. Synowie Zorobabela: Meszullam i Chananiasz, a ich siostra – Szelomit;
The sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel and Shimei. The children of Zerubbabel: Meshullam and Hananiah, their sister Shelomith,
20 I Chaszuba, Ohel, Berechiasz, Chasadiasz i Juszabchesed – pięciu.
and five others: Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-hesed.
21 Synowie Chananiasza: Pelatiasz i Jesajasz. Synowie Refajasza, synowie Arnana, synowie Obadiasza, synowie Szekaniasza.
The descendants of Hananiah: Pelatiah, Jeshaiah, and the sons of Rephaiah, of Arnan, of Obadiah, and of Shecaniah.
22 Synowie Szekaniasza: Szemajasz; a synowie Szemajasza: Chattusz, Jigal, Bariach, Neariasz i Szafat – sześciu.
The six descendants of Shecaniah were Shemaiah and his sons: Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat.
23 Synowie Neariasza: Elioenaj, Ezechiasz i Azrikam – trzech.
The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam—three in all.
24 Synowie Elioenaja: Hodawiasz, Eliaszib, Pelajasz, Akkub, Jochanan, Delajasz, Anani – siedmiu.
The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani—seven in all.
