Psalmów 71
1 W tobie, Panie! nadzieję mam: niech na wieki pohańbiony nie będę.
By David, [a Psalm sung by] the sons of Jonadab, and the first that were taken captive. O Lord, I have hoped in thee: let me never be put to shame.
2 Według sprawiedliwości twej wybaw mię, i wyrwij mię; nakłoń ku mnie ucha twego, i zachowaj mię.
In thy righteousness deliver me and rescue me: incline thine ear to me, and save me.
3 Bądź mi skałą mieszkania, gdziebym zawżdy uchodził; przykazałeś, aby mię strzeżono; boś ty skałą moją i twierdzą moją.
Be to me a protecting God, and a strong hold to save me: for thou art my fortress and my refuge.
4 Boże mój! wyrwij mię z ręki niezbożnika, z ręki przewrotnego i gwałtownika;
Deliver me, O my God, from the hand of the sinner, from the hand of the transgressor and unjust man.
5 Albowiemeś ty oczekiwaniem mojem, Panie! Panie! nadziejo moja od młodości mojej.
For thou art my support, O Lord; O Lord, [thou art] my hope from my youth.
6 Na tobiem spoległ zaraz z żywota; tyś mię wywiódł z żywota matki mojej; w tobie chwała moja zawżdy.
On thee have I been stayed from the womb: from the belly of my mother thou art my protector: of thee is my praise continually.
7 Jako dziwowisko byłem u wielu; wszakże tyś jest mocną nadzieją moją.
I am become as it were a wonder to many: but thou art [my] strong helper.
8 Niechaj będą napełnione usta moje chwałą twoją, przez cały dzień sławą twoją.
Let my mouth be filled with praise, that I may hymn thy glory, [and] thy majesty all the day.
9 Nie odrzucajże mię w starości mojej; gdy ustanie siła moja, nie opuszczaj mię.
Cast me not off at the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails.
10 Albowiem mówili nieprzyjaciele moi przeciwko mnie, a ci, którzy czyhali na duszę moję, radę uczynili społem,
For mine enemies have spoken against me; and they that lay wait for my soul have taken counsel together,
11 Mówiąc: Bóg go opuścił, gońcież go, a pojmijcie go; boć nie ma, ktoby go wyrwał.
saying, God has forsaken him: persecute ye and take him; for there is none to deliver [him].
12 Boże! nie oddalajże się odemnie; o Boże mój! pospieszże się na ratunek mój.
O God, go not far from me, O my God, draw nigh to my help.
13 Niechże będą zawstydzeni, niech zginą przeciwnicy duszy mojej; niech będą okryci zelżywością i wstydem, którzy mi szukają złego.
Let those that plot against my soul be ashamed and utterly fail: let those that seek my hurt be clothed with shame and dishonour.
14 Aleć ja zawżdy oczekiwać będę, a tem więcej rozszerzę chwałę twoję.
But I will hope continually, and will praise thee more and more.
15 Usta moje opowiadać będą sprawiedliwość twoję, cały dzień zbawienie twoje, aczkolwiek liczby jego nie wiem.
My mouth shall declare thy righteousness openly, [and] thy salvation all the day; for I am not acquainted with the affairs [of men].
16 Przystąpię do wysławiania wszelakiej mocy Pana panującego, będę wspominał własną sprawiedliwość twoję.
I will go on in the might of the Lord: O Lord, I will make mention of thy righteousness only.
17 Boże! uczyłeś mię od młodości mojej, i opowiadam aż po dziś dzień dziwne sprawy twoje.
O God, thou hast taught me from my youth, and until now will I declare thy wonders;
18 A przetoż aż do starości i sędziwości nie opuszczaj mię, Boże! aż opowiem ramię twoje temu narodowi, i wszystkim potomkom moc twoję.
even until I am old and advanced in years. O God, forsake me not; until I shall have declared thine arm to all the generation that is to come:
19 Bo sprawiedliwość twoja, Boże! wywyższona jest, czynisz zaiste rzeczy wielkie. Boże! któż jest podobien tobie?
even thy power and thy righteousness, O God, up to the highest [heavens, even] the mighty works which thou has done: O God, who is like to thee?
20 Który, acześ przypuścił na mię wielkie i ciężkie uciski, wszakże zasię do żywota przywracasz mię, a z przepaści ziemskich zasię wywodzisz mię.
What afflictions many and sore hast thou shewed me! yet thou didst turn and quicken me, and broughtest me again from the depths of the earth.
21 Rozmnożysz dostojność moję a zasię ucieszysz mię.
Thou didst multiply thy righteousness, and didst turn and comfort me, and broughtest me again out of the depths of the earth.
22 A ja też wysławiać cię będę na instrumentach muzycznych, i prawdę twoję, Boże mój! będęć śpiewał przy harfie, o Święty Izraelski!
I will also therefore give thanks to thee, O God, [because of] thy truth, on an instrument of psalmody: I will sing psalms to thee on the harp, O Holy One of Israel.
23 Rozradują się wargi moje, gdyć będę śpiewał, i dusza moja, którąś wykupił.
My lips shall rejoice when I sing to thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.
24 Nadto i język mój będzie opowiadał przez cały dzień sprawiedliwość twoję; bo się zawstydzić, i hańbę odnieść musieli ci, którzy szukali nieszczęścia mego.
Moreover also my tongue shall dwell all the day upon thy righteousness; when they shall be ashamed and confounded that seek my hurt.
