1 Przedniejszemu śpiewakowi psalm Dawidowy na wspominamie. Boże! pospiesz się, abyś mię wyrwał; Panie! pospiesz się, abyś mi dał ratunek.

For the end, by David for a remembrance, that the Lord may save me. Draw nigh, O God, to my help.

2 Niech będą zawstydzeni i pohańbieni, którzy szukają duszy mojej; niech się obrócą na wstecz, i niech będą pohańbieni, którzy mi złego życzą.

Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek my soul: let them be turned backward and put to shame, that wish me evil.

3 Niech się obrócą nazad za to, że mię chcą pohańbić ci, którzy mi mówią: Ehej, ehej!

Let them that say to me, Aha, aha, be turned back and put to shame immediately.

4 Ale niech się weselą i radują w tobie wszyscy, którzy cię szukają, a którzy miłują zbawienie twoje, niech mówią zawżdy: Uwielbiony bądź, Boże nasz!

Let all that seek thee exult and be glad in thee: and let those that love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

5 Jamci nędzny i ubogi; o Boże! pospiesz się ku mnie; tyś jest pomocą moją, i wybawicielem moim! Panie! nie omieszkujże.

But I am poor and needy; O God, help me: thou art my helper and deliverer, O Lord, delay not.
