1 Pieśń stopni Dawidowa. Panie! nie wyniosło się serce moje, ani się wyniosły oczy moje, anim się kusił o rzeczy wielkie, albo wyższe nad to, niż mi należy.

A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

2 Izalim nie położył i nie uspokoił duszy mojej, jako dziecię odstawione od matki swej? odstawionemu dziecięciu była podobna we mnie dusza moja.

Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned by his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

3 Miejże nadzieję w Panu, o Izraelu! odtąd aż na wieki.

Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
