Psalmów 116

1 Miłuję Pana, iż wysłuchał głos mój, i prośby moje.

I love Yahweh—because he heareth my voice, my supplications;

2 Albowiem nakłonił ucha swego ku mnie, gdym go wzywał za dni moich.

Because he hath bowed down his ear unto me, therefore, throughout my days, will I call.

3 Ogarnęły mię były boleści śmierci, a utrapienia grobu zjęły mię; ucisk i boleść przyszła na mię. (Sheol h7585)

The meshes of death encompassed me, and the distresses of hades, came upon me, Peril and sorrow, I found; (Sheol h7585)

4 I wzywałem imienia Pańskiego, mówiąc: Proszę, o Panie! wybaw duszę moję.

But, on the Name of Yahweh, I called—I beseech thee, Yahweh, deliver my soul.

5 Miłościwy Pan i sprawiedliwy, Bóg nasz litościwy.

Gracious is Yahweh and righteous, and, our God, is full of compassion.

6 Pan prostaczków strzeże; byłem uciśniony, a wspomógł mię.

Yahweh, preserveth the simple, I was brought low, when, to me, he granted salvation.

7 Nawróć się, duszo moja! do odpocznienia swego; albowiem ci Pan dobrze uczynił.

Return, O my soul, to thy rest, For, Yahweh, hath dealt bountifully with thee.

8 Bo wyrwał duszę moję od śmierci, oczy moje od płaczu, nogę moję od upadku.

For thou hast rescued my soul from death, —mine eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.

9 Będę chodził ustawicznie przed oblicznością Pańską w ziemi żyjących.

I will walk to and fro before Yahweh, in the lands of life.

10 Uwierzyłem, dlategom mówił, chociażem bardzo był utrapiony.

I believed that I should speak, I, was greatly depressed.

11 Jam był rzekł w zatrwożeniu mojem: Wszelki człowiek kłamca.

I, said in mine alarm, All men, are false!

12 Cóż oddam Panu za wszystkie dobrodziejstwa jego, które mi uczynił?

How shall I give back to Yahweh, All his benefits unto me?

13 Kielich obfitego zbawienia wezmę, a imienia Pańskiego wzywać będę,

The cup of salvation, will I lift, and, on the Name of Yahweh, will I call:

14 Śluby moje oddam Panu, a to zaraz przed wszystkim ludem jego.

My vows—to Yahweh, will I pay, Might it be in presence of all his people!

15 Droga jest przed oczyma Pańskiemi śmierć świętych jego.

Costly in the eyes of Yahweh, is, death, for his men of lovingkindness.

16 O mój Panie! żem ja sługą twoim, jam sługą twoim, synem służebnicy twojej, rozwiązałeś związki moje.

I beseech thee, O Yahweh—for, I, am thy servant, —I, am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid, Thou hast loosened my bonds.

17 Tobie ofiarować będę ofiarę chwały, i imienia Pańskiego wzywać będę.

To thee, will I sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and, on the Name of Yahweh, will I call:

18 Śluby moje oddam Panu, a to zaraz przed wszystkim ludem jego,

My vows—to Yahweh, will I pay, Might it be in the presence of all his people; —

19 W przysionkach domu Pańskiego, w pośrodku ciebie, Jeruzalemie! Halleluja.

In the courts of the house of Yahweh, In the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye Yah!
