II Królewska 7

1 Tedy rzekł Elizeusz: Słuchajcie słowa Pańskiego. Tak mówi Pan: O tym czasie jutro miara mąki pszennej będzie za sykiel, a dwie miary jęczmienia za sykiel, w bramie Samaryjskiej.

And he said Elisha hear [the] word of Yahweh thus - he says Yahweh about this time - tomorrow a seah of fine flour for a shekel and two seahs barley for a shekel at [the] gate of Samaria.

2 I odpowiedział książe, na którego się ręce król wspierał, mężowi Bożemu i rzekł: By też Pan poczynił okna w niebie, izaliby to mogło być? Który mu rzekł: Oto ty ujrzysz oczyma twemi; ale tego jeść nie będziesz.

And he answered the officer who [belonged] to the king [who] was leaning on hand his [the] man of God and he said here! Yahweh [is] making windows in the heavens ¿ will it happen the thing this and he said here you [are] about to see with own eyes your and from there not you will eat.

3 A byli czterej mężowie trędowaci u wyjścia bramy, którzy rzekli jeden do drugiego: Pocóż tu mieszkamy, ażbyśmy pomarli?

And four men they were [people] having a skin disease [the] entrance of the gate and they said each to neighbor his why? [are] we sitting here until we have died.

4 Jeźli wnijdziemy do miasta, głód w mieście, i pomrzemy tam, a jeźli tu zostaniemy, przecię pomrzemy. Teraz tedy pójdźcie, a zbieżmy do obozu Syryjskiego; jeźli nas żywo zostawią, będziemy żywi; jeźli nas też zabiją, pomrzemy.

If we said we will enter the city and the famine [is] in the city and we will die there and if we sat here and we will die and therefore come so let us fall to [the] camp of Aram if they will let live us we will live and if they will put to death us and we will die.

5 Wstali tedy, gdy się zmierzchać poczęło, aby szli do obozu Syryjskiego; a przyszedłszy na koniec obozu Syryjskiego, oto tam nie było nikogo.

And they arose at twilight to go to [the] camp of Aram and they came to [the] edge of [the] camp of Aram and there! there not there [was] anyone.

6 Albowiem sprawił Pan, że słychać było w obozie Syryjskim grzmot wozów i tenten koni, i huk wojska wielkiego, i rzekli jeden do drugiego: Oto najął za pieniądze przeciwko nam król Izraelski króle Hetejskie, i króle Egipskie, aby przypadli na nas.

And [the] Lord he had caused to hear - [the] camp of Aram a sound of chariotry a sound of horse[s] a sound of an army large and they said each to brother his here! he has hired on us [the] king of Israel [the] kings of the Hittites and [the] kings of Egypt to come on us.

7 A tak wstawszy uciekli w zmierzch, zostawiwszy namioty swe, i konie swe i osły swe, i obóz jaki był, a uciekli, chcąc zachować duszę swoję.

And they arose and they fled at twilight and they abandoned tents their and horses their and donkeys their the camp [was] just as it [was] and they fled to life their.

8 A gdy przyszli oni trędowaci aż na przodek obozu, weszli do jednego namiotu, i jedli i pili, a nabrawszy stamtąd srebra i złota, i szat, szli i skryli. Potem się wrócili, i weszli do drugiego namiotu, a nabrawszy także stamtąd, odeszli i pokryli.

And they came the [people] having a skin disease these to [the] edge of the camp and they went into a tent one and they ate and they drank and they carried off from there silver and gold and clothes and they went and they hid [them] and they returned and they went into a tent another and they carried off [things] from there and they went and they hid [them].

9 Zatem rzekł jeden do drugiego: Nie dobrze czynimy. Dzień ten jest dzień dobrej nowiny, a my milczymy? Jeźli będziemy czekali aż do zaranku, będziemy winni grzechu. Przetoż teraz pójdźcie, wnijdźmy, a opowiedzmy to domowi królewskiemu.

And they said each to neighbor his not right - we [are] doing the day this [is] a day of good news it and we [are] silent and we will delay until [the] light of the morning and it will find us punishment and therefore come so let us go and let us tell [the] household of the king.

10 A tak przyszedłszy zawołali na wrotnego miejskiego, i powiedzieli im mówiąc: Przyszliśmy do obozu Syryjskiego, a oto nie było tam nikogo, ani głosu ludzkiego, oprócz koni uwiązanych, i osłów uwiązanych, i namiotów, jako przedtem były.

And they went and they called out to [the] gatekeeper of the city and they told to them saying we went into [the] camp of Aram and there! there not there [was] anyone and [the] sound of anyone that except the horse[s] tied up and the donkey[s] tied up and tents [are] just as they [were].

11 Tedy on zawołał na inne wrotne, a ci opowiedzieli to w domu królewskim.

And he called out the gatekeepers and they told [the] household of the king within.

12 Wstawszy tedy król w nocy, rzekł do sług swoich: Powiem ja wam, co nam uczynili Syryjczycy; wiedzą, żeśmy zgłodniali, przetoż wyszli z obozu, a pokryli się w polu, mówiąc: Gdy wynijdą z miasta, pojmiemy je żywo, i miasto ubieżemy.

And he arose the king night and he said to servants his let me tell please to you [that] which they have done to us Aram they know that [are] hungry we and they have gone out from the camp to hide themselves (in open country *QK) saying that they will come out from the city and we will seize them alive and into the city we will go.

13 Tedy odpowiedział jeden z sług jego, i rzekł: Proszę niech wezmą pięć koni pozostałych, które zostały w mieście; (oto one są jako wszystko mnóstwo Izraelskie, które zostało w niem; oto one są mówię jako wszystko mnóstwo Izraelskie, które ginie, ) te wyślijmy a wywiedzmy się.

And he answered one from servants his and he said and they may take please five of the horses remaining which they are left in it here they [will be] like all ([the] multitude of *QK) Israel which they are left in it here they [will be] like all [the] multitude of Israel which they have come to an end and let us send and we may see.

14 A tak wziąwszy dwa wozy z końmi, posłał król do obozu Syryjskiego, mówiąc: Idźcie a obaczcie.

And people took two chariot[s] horses and he sent [them] the king after [the] camp of Aram saying go and see.

15 I szli za nimi aż do Jordanu, a oto po wszystkiej drodze pełno było szat i naczynia, które porzucili Syryjczycy, kwapiąc się. Tedy wróciwszy się oni posłowie, oznajmili to królowi.

And they went after them to the Jordan and there! all the road [was] full clothes and equipment which they had thrown away Aram (in hurrying of them *QK) and they returned the messengers and they told to the king.

16 Przeto wyszedłszy lud, rozchwycił obóz Syryjski; a była miara pszennej mąki za sykiel, a dwie miary jęczmienia za sykiel, według słowa Pańskiego.

And it went out the people and they plundered [the] camp of Aram and it was a seah of fine flour for a shekel and two seahs barley for a shekel according to [the] word of Yahweh.

17 A król postanowił był onego książęcia, na którego się ręce wspierał, w bramie, którego lud podeptał w bramie, aż umarł, jako mu był powiedział mąż Boży, który o tem mówił, gdy był król przyszedł do niego.

And the king he appointed the officer who [was] leaning on hand his over the gate and they trampled him the people in the gate and he died just as he had spoken [the] man of God who he spoke when came down the king to him.

18 I stało się według słowa, które był rzekł mąż Boży królowi, mówiąc: Dwie miary jęczmienia za sykiel, a miara pszennej mąki będzie za sykiel, jutro o tym czasie w bramie Samaryjskiej.

And it was as had spoken [the] man of God to the king saying two seahs barley for a shekel and a seah of fine flour for a shekel it will be about this time tomorrow in [the] gate of Samaria.

19 Na co był odpowiedział on książe mężowi Bożemu, mówiąc: By też Pan uczynił okna w niebie, izali to będzie według słowa tego? A on mu rzekł: Oto ty ujrzysz oczyma twemi, ale tego jeść nie będziesz.

And he had answered the officer [the] man of God and he said and here! Yahweh [is] making windows in the heavens ¿ will it happen according to the manner this and he said here you [are] about to see with own eyes your and from there not you will eat.

20 I stało mu się tak; bo go podeptał lud w bramie, aż umarł.

And it happened to him thus and they trampled him the people in the gate and he died.
