Psalm 82

[A Psalm by Asaph.] God presides in the assembly of God. He judges among the gods.

2 Arai da komail pan kadeik sapung o kasampwaleki me doo sang Kot akan? (Sela)

"How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?" (Selah)

3 Sauasa pung en samama o sapoupou kan, o sauasa me luet o samama kan ni ar pung!

"Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.

4 Komail dorela me tikitik o samama o, o kamaioda sang nan pa en me doo sang Kot akan.

Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked."

5 A re sota kin duki ong, o sota ar lokekong; re kin weweid nan rotorot; pason en sappa kan karos mokimokideda.

They do not know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

6 Ngai indada: Komail rasong kot akan, o nain me lapalap;

I said, "You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.

7 Ari so, komail pan mela dueta aramas akan, o komail pan lokidokila dueta me weit amen.

Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers."

Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.
