< Psalm 56 >

1 MAING Kot, kom kotin maki ong ia, pwe aramas akan ngiringir ong ia; re kin peipei o kamasak ia ni ran karos.
For the end, concerning the people that were removed from the sanctuary, by David for a memorial, when the Philistines caught him in Geth. Have mercy upon me, O God; for man has trodden me down; all the day long he warring has afflicted me.
2 Ai imwintiti kan kin ngiringir nin ran karos, pwe me toto pei ong ia ni ar aklapalap.
Mine enemies have trodden me down all the day from the dawning of the day; for there are many warring against me.
3 Ni ai masak i kin kaporoporeki komui.
They shall be afraid, but I will trust in you.
4 I pan kapinga masan en Kot, i pan kaporoporeki Kot o pan sota masak, da me aramas kak wiai ong ia?
In God I will praise my words; all the day have I hoped in God; I will not fear what flesh shall do to me.
5 Ran karos re kin kawukila ai lokaia, re kin madamadauata, duen ar pan kawe ia la.
All the day long they have abominated my words; all their devices [are] against me for evil.
6 Re pokon pena, o masamasan, o kanakanai ong kaimwin nä i kat, duen ar pan kak kame ia la.
They will dwell near and hide [themselves]; they will watch my steps, accordingly as I have waited patiently in my soul.
7 Iaduen, re pan kak pitila ni ar morsuet? Maing Kot, kom kotin kasapokala song en aramas due met,
You will on no account save them; you will bring down the people in wrath.
8 Kom kotin wadok pena al en ai pitilar akan, o kotin kolekol pena pil en mas ai nan sapwilim omui dal o. Pwe kaidin karos kileledier nan sapwilim omui puk o?
O God, I have declared my life to you; you has set my tears before you, even according to your promise.
9 Ai imwintiti kan ap pan sapale wei ni ran o me i pan likelikwir; Iet me i asa, me Kot sauas pa i.
Mine enemies shall be turned back, in the day wherein I shall call upon you; behold, I know that you are my God.
10 I pan kapinga masan en Kot; i pan kapinga masan en Ieowa.
In God, will I praise [his] word; in the Lord will I praise [his] saying.
11 I kaporoporeki Kot, ap sota masak, pwe da me aramas akan pan kak wiai ong ia?
I have hoped in God; I will not be afraid of what man shall do to me.
12 Maing Kot, i inauki ong komui, me i pan mairongki danke ong komui;
The vows of your praise, O God, which I will pay, are upon me.
13 Pwe kom kotin dorelar ngen i sang mela o nä, i kat sang ai krisidi, pwe i en weweid mon silang en Kot nan marain en me maur akan.
For you have delivered my soul from death, and my feet from sliding, that I should be well-pleasing before God in the land of the living.
