مَرقُس 3

1 در کَفَرناحوم عیسی بار دیگر به کنیسه رفت و در آنجا مردی را دید که دستش از کار افتاده بود.

And again, he entered into the synagogue. And there was a man there who had a withered hand.

2 آن روز شَبّات بود؛ به همین دلیل مخالفانش او را زیر نظر داشتند تا اگر آن مرد را در آن روز شفا بخشد، این موضوع را بهانه‌ای قرار دهند و او را متهم کنند که در شبّات کار می‌کند.

And they observed him, to see if he would cure on the Sabbaths, so that they might accuse him.

3 عیسی به آن مرد فرمود: «بیا اینجا بایست تا همه بتوانند تو را ببینند!»

And he said to the man who had the withered hand, “Stand up in the middle.”

4 سپس رو به مخالفانش کرد و فرمود: «سؤالی از شما دارم: آیا طبق شریعت در روز شَبّات باید نیکی کرد یا بدی؟ باید جان انسان را نجات داد یا آن را هلاک کرد؟» هیچ‌کس حرفی نزد.

And he said to them: “Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbaths, or to do evil, to give health to a life, or to destroy?” But they remained silent.

5 عیسی نگاهی خشمگین بر کسانی که اطرافش بودند انداخت و از سنگدلی آنان سخت آزرده‌خاطر شده، به آن مرد فرمود: «دستت را دراز کن!» مرد دستش را دراز کرد و دستش سالم شد.

And looking around at them with anger, being very saddened over the blindness of their hearts, he said to the man, “Extend your hand.” And he extended it, and his hand was restored to him.

6 فریسیان بلافاصله از کنیسه خارج شدند و نزد افراد حزب «هیرودیان» رفتند و با یکدیگر مشورت کردند تا راهی بیابند که عیسی را بکشند.

Then the Pharisees, going out, immediately took counsel with the Herodians against him, as to how they might destroy him.

7 در این هنگام، عیسی به همراه پیروانش به سوی ساحل دریاچه رفت و جمعی بیشمار از اهالی جلیل نیز در پی او روانه شدند.

But Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea. And a great crowd followed him from Galilee and Judea,

8 همچنین گروهی بسیار از مردم یهودیه و اورشلیم و ادومیه و آن طرف رود اردن، حتی از صور و صیدون به دنبالش روانه شدند، زیرا خبر معجزات او را شنیده بودند.

and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and across the Jordan. And those around Tyre and Sidon, upon hearing what he was doing, came to him in a great multitude.

9 جمعیت به قدری زیاد بود که به شاگردانش فرمود قایقی برایش آماده نگاه دارند تا مردم بر او ازدحام نکنند،

And he told his disciples that a small boat would be useful to him, because of the crowd, lest they press upon him.

10 زیرا آن روز، بسیاری را شفا می‌بخشید، به طوری که تمام بیماران به سوی او هجوم می‌آوردند تا به او دست بزنند و شفا بیابند.

For he healed so many, that as many of them as had wounds would rush toward him in order to touch him.

11 کسانی نیز که گرفتار ارواح پلید بودند، وقتی چشمشان به او می‌افتاد، در مقابلش به خاک می‌افتادند و فریاد برآورده، می‌گفتند: «تو پسر خدا هستی!»

And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell prostrate before him. And they cried out, saying,

12 ولی عیسی با تأکید زیاد، به آنها می‌فرمود که نزد مردم او را شهرت ندهند.

“You are the Son of God.” And he strongly admonished them, lest they make him known.

13 سپس عیسی به کوهی برآمد و از آنانی که منظور نظرش بودند، دعوت کرد تا نزد او بیایند.

And ascending onto a mountain, he called to himself those whom he willed, and they came to him.

14 سپس، از میانشان دوازده نفر را برگزید و ایشان را رسول نامید، تا همراه او باشند و ایشان را بفرستد که پیام خدا را به گوش مردم برسانند،

And he acted so that the twelve would be with him, and so that he might send them out to preach.

15 و این اقتدار را داشته باشند که ارواح پلید را بیرون برانند.

And he gave them authority to cure infirmities, and to cast out demons:

16 آن دوازده نفر که تعیین کرد اینان هستند: شمعون (که عیسی او را «پِطرُس» لقب داد)؛

and he imposed on Simon the name Peter;

17 یعقوب و یوحنا (که پسران زبدی بودند و عیسی آنان را «پسران رعد» لقب داد)؛

and also he imposed on James of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, the name ‘Boanerges,’ that is, ‘Sons of Thunder;’

18 آندریاس، فیلیپ، بَرتولُما، متی، توما، یعقوب (پسر حلفی)، تَدّای، شمعون (عضو حزب فداییان)؛

and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James of Alphaeus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite,

19 و یهودای اِسخَریوطی (همان که بعداً به عیسی خیانت کرد).

and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

20 وقتی عیسی به خانه‌ای که محل اقامتش بود بازگشت، باز عدهٔ زیادی جمع شدند، به طوری که حتی فرصت غذا خوردن نیز پیدا نکردند.

And they went to a house, and the crowd gathered together again, so much so that they were not even able to eat bread.

21 نزدیکانش با شنیدن این خبر آمدند تا او را به خانه‌اش ببرند، زیرا فکر می‌کردند عقلش را از دست داده است.

And when his own had heard of it, they went out to take hold of him. For they said: “Because he has gone mad.”

22 عده‌ای از علمای دین نیز که از اورشلیم آمده بودند، می‌گفتند: «شیطان به جلدش رفته! او ارواح پلید را به قدرت رئیس ارواح پلید بیرون می‌راند.»

And the scribes who had descended from Jerusalem said, “Because he has Beelzebub, and because by the prince of demons does he cast out demons.”

23 عیسی ایشان را نزد خود فراخواند و مَثَلها زده، از ایشان پرسید: «چگونه ممکن است شیطان خودش را بیرون براند؟

And having called them together, he spoke to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan?

24 مملکتی که دچار جنگ داخلی شود، نابودی‌اش حتمی است.

For if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom is not able to stand.

25 همچنین، خانه‌ای نیز که در آن در اثر دشمنی‌ها تفرقه ایجاد گردد، از هم فرو خواهد پاشید.

And if a house is divided against itself, that house is not able to stand.

26 و اگر شیطان بر ضد خودش تجزیه شده، با خودش می‌جنگید، قادر به انجام هیچ کاری نمی‌شد و تا به حال نابود شده بود.

And if Satan has risen up against himself, he would be divided, and he would not be able to stand; instead he reaches the end.

27 در ضمن، چگونه امکان دارد شخص به خانۀ مردی قوی مانند شیطان داخل شود و اموال او را غارت کند؟ فقط شخصی نیرومندتر از او می‌تواند چنین کند، کسی که بتواند او را ببندد و بعد خانه‌اش را غارت کند.

No one is able to plunder the goods of a strong man, having entered into the house, unless he first binds the strong man, and then he shall plunder his house.

28 عین حقیقت را به شما می‌گویم که هر گناه و کفری قابل بخشش است،

Amen I say to you, that all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and the blasphemies by which they will have blasphemed.

29 اما هر که به روح‌القدس کفر گوید، هرگز آمرزیده نخواهد شد و بار این گناه تا ابد بر دوش او خواهد ماند.» (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)

But he who will have blasphemed against the Holy Spirit shall not have forgiveness in eternity; instead he shall be guilty of an eternal offense.” (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)

30 عیسی این را به این علّت گفت که مردم به جای اینکه معجزات او را ناشی از قدرت روح‌القدس بدانند، می‌گفتند که او به قدرت شیطان معجزه می‌کند.

For they said: “He has an unclean spirit.”

31 آنگاه مادر و برادران عیسی آمدند و بیرون ایستاده، کسی را فرستادند تا او را خبر کند.

And his mother and brothers arrived. And standing outside, they sent to him, calling him.

32 در حالی که عیسی در میان عده‌ای نشسته بود، به او پیغام داده، گفتند: «مادر و برادرانت بیرون منتظر هستند.»

And the crowd was sitting around him. And they said to him, “Behold, your mother and your brothers are outside, seeking you.”

33 در پاسخ ایشان فرمود: «مادر من کیست؟ برادرانم چه کسانی هستند؟»

And responding to them, he said, “Who is my mother and my brothers?”

34 و نگاهی به آنانی که در اطرافش نشسته بودند انداخت و فرمود: «اینها هستند مادر و برادران من.

And looking around at those who were sitting all around him, he said: “Behold, my mother and my brothers.

35 هر که خواست خدا را به‌جا آوَرَد، برادر و خواهر و مادر من است.»

For whoever has done the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister and mother.”
