استر 8

1 در همان روز خشایارشا تمام املاک هامان، دشمن یهود را به ملکه استر بخشید. سپس وقتی استر به پادشاه گفت که چه نسبتی با مُردخای دارد، پادشاه مردخای را به حضور پذیرفت

2 و انگشتر خود را که از هامان پس گرفته بود، درآورد و به مردخای داد. استر نیز املاک هامان را به دست مردخای سپرد.

and to turn aside: remove [the] king [obj] ring his which to pass: bring from Haman and to give: give her to/for Mordecai and to set: appoint Esther [obj] Mordecai upon house: home Haman

3 استر بار دیگر نزد پادشاه رفت و خود را به پای او انداخته، با گریه درخواست نمود حکمی که هامان در مورد کشتار یهودیان داده بود، لغو شود.

and to add: again Esther and to speak: speak to/for face: before [the] king and to fall: fall to/for face: before foot his and to weep and be gracious to/for him to/for to pass: bring [obj] distress: evil Haman [the] Agagite and [obj] plot his which to devise: design upon [the] Jew

4 پادشاه باز عصای سلطنتی خود را به سوی او دراز کرد. پس استر بلند شد و در حضور پادشاه ایستاد

and to extend [the] king to/for Esther [obj] scepter [the] gold and to arise: rise Esther and to stand: stand to/for face: before [the] king

5 و گفت: «پادشاها، تمنا دارم اگر صلاح می‌دانید و اگر مورد لطف شما قرار گرفته‌ام، فرمانی صادر کنید تا حکم هامان دربارهٔ قتل عام یهودیان سراسر مملکت، لغو شود.

and to say if upon [the] king pleasant and if to find favor to/for face: before his and to succeed [the] word: thing to/for face: before [the] king and pleasant I in/on/with eye: appearance his to write to/for to return: turn back [obj] [the] scroll: document plot Haman son: child Hammedatha [the] Agagite which to write to/for to perish [obj] [the] Jew which in/on/with all province [the] king

6 من چگونه می‌توانم قتل عام و نابودی قومم را ببینم؟»

for how? be able and to see: see in/on/with distress: harm which to find [obj] people my and how? be able and to see: see in/on/with destruction relatives my

7 آنگاه خشایارشا به ملکه استر و مردخای یهودی گفت: «من دستور دادم هامان را که می‌خواست شما یهودیان را نابود کند، به دار بیاویزند. همچنین املاک او را به ملکه استر بخشیدم.

and to say [the] king Ahasuerus to/for Esther [the] queen and to/for Mordecai [the] Jew behold house: household Haman to give: give to/for Esther and [obj] him to hang upon [the] tree: stake upon which to send: reach hand his (in/on/with Jew *Qk)

8 اما حکمی را که به نام پادشاه صادر شده و با انگشتر او مهر شده باشد نمی‌توان لغو کرد. ولی شما می‌توانید به صلاح خود حکم دیگری به نام پادشاه برای یهودیان صادر کنید و آن را با انگشتر پادشاه مهر کنید.»

and you(m. p.) to write upon [the] Jew like/as pleasant in/on/with eye: appearance your in/on/with name [the] king and to seal in/on/with ring [the] king for writing which to write in/on/with name [the] king and to seal in/on/with ring [the] king nothing to/for to return: turn back

9 آن روز، بیست و سوم ماه سوم یعنی ماه سیوان بود. کاتبان دربار فوری احضار شدند و فرمانی را که مردخای صادر کرد، نوشتند. این فرمان خطاب به یهودیان، حاکمان، مقامات مملکتی و استانداران ۱۲۷ استان، از هند تا حبشه، بود و به خطها و زبانهای رایج مملکت و نیز به خط و زبان یهودیان نوشته شد.

and to call: call to scribe [the] king in/on/with time [the] he/she/it in/on/with month [the] third he/she/it month Sivan in/on/with three and twenty in/on/with him and to write like/as all which to command Mordecai to(wards) [the] Jew and to(wards) [the] satrap and [the] governor and ruler [the] province which from India and till Ethiopia seven and twenty and hundred province province and province like/as writing her and people and people like/as tongue: language his and to(wards) [the] Jew like/as writing their and like/as tongue: language their

10 مردخای فرمان را به نام خشایارشا نوشت و با انگشتر مخصوص پادشاه مهر کرد و به دست قاصدانی که بر اسبان تندرو پادشاه سوار بودند به همه جا فرستاد.

and to write in/on/with name [the] king Ahasuerus and to seal in/on/with ring [the] king and to send: depart scroll: document in/on/with hand: by [the] to run: run in/on/with horse to ride [the] steed [the] steed son: young animal [the] mare

11 این فرمان پادشاه به یهودیان تمام شهرها اجازه می‌داد که برای دفاع از خود و خانواده‌هایشان متحد شوند و تمام بدخواهان خود را از هر قومی که باشند، بکشند و دارایی آنها را به غنیمت بگیرند.

which to give: allow [the] king to/for Jew which in/on/with all city and city to/for to gather and to/for to stand: stand upon soul: life their to/for to destroy and to/for to kill and to/for to perish [obj] all strength: soldiers people and province [the] to provoke [obj] them child and woman and spoil their to/for to plunder

12 روزی که برای این کار تعیین شد، همان روزی بود که برای قتل عام یهودیان در همۀ ولایتهای خشایارشای پادشاه در نظر گرفته شده بود، یعنی سیزدهم ماه دوازدهم که ماه اَدار باشد.

13 در ضمن، قرار شد این فرمان در همه جا اعلام شود تا یهودیان، خود را برای گرفتن انتقام از دشمنان خود آماده کنند.

14 پس این فرمان در شوش اعلام شد و قاصدان به فرمان پادشاه سوار بر اسبان تندرو آن را به سرعت به سراسر مملکت رساندند.

15 سپس مردخای لباس شاهانه‌ای را که به رنگهای آبی و سفید بود پوشید و تاجی بزرگ از طلا بر سر گذاشت و ردایی ارغوانی از جنس کتان لطیف به دوش انداخت و از حضور پادشاه بیرون رفت. یهودیان به خاطر این موفقیت و احترامی که نصیب ایشان شده بود در تمام شوش به جشن و سرور پرداختند.

17 فرمان پادشاه به هر شهر و استانی که می‌رسید، یهودیان آنجا غرق شادی می‌شدند و جشن می‌گرفتند. در ضمن بسیاری از قومهای دیگر به دین یهود گرویدند، زیرا از ایشان می‌ترسیدند.
