صَفَنیا 2

۱ 1 ای امتی که حیا ندارید فراهم آیید و جمع بشوید!

Gather yourselves together and gather together O nation not ashamed.

۲ 2 قبل از آنکه حکم نتاج بیاورد وآن روز مثل کاه بگذرد؛ قبل از آنکه حدت خشم خداوند بر شما وارد آید؛ قبل از آنکه روز خشم خداوند بر شما برسد.

Before brings forth a decree like chaff it has passed away a day before - not it will come on you [the] burning of [the] anger of Yahweh before not it will come on you [the] day of [the] anger of Yahweh.

۳ 3 ‌ای جمیع حلیمان زمین که احکام او را بجا می‌آورید، عدالت را بطلبید وتواضع را بجویید، شاید که در روز خشم خداوندمستور شوید.

Seek Yahweh O all [the] humble [people] of the land who judgment his they have done seek righteousness seek humility perhaps you will be hidden on [the] day of [the] anger of Yahweh.

۴ 4 زیرا که غزه متروک می‌شود و اشقلون ویران می‌گردد و اهل اشدود را در وقت ظهر اخراج می‌نمایند و عقرون از ریشه‌کنده می‌شود.

For Gaza abandoned it will be and Ashkelon [will become] a desolation Ashdod at the noontide people will drive out it and Ekron it will be plucked up.

۵ 5 وای بر امت کریتیان که بر ساحل دریا ساکنند. ای کنعان‌ای زمین فلسطینیان کلام خداوند به ضدشما است و من تو را چنان هلاک می‌کنم که کسی در تو ساکن نخواهد بود،

Woe to! [the] inhabitants of [the] region of the sea [the] nation of [the] Kerethites [the] word of Yahweh [is] on you O Canaan [the] land of [the] Philistines and I will destroy you from not inhabitant.

۶ 6 و ساحل دریا موضع مرتع های شبانان و آغلهای گوسفندان خواهدبود،

And it will be [the] region of the sea pastures of meadows of shepherds and folds of sheep.

۷ 7 و ساحل دریا برای بقیه خاندان یهوداخواهد بود تا در آن بچرند. شبگاهان در خانه های اشقلون خواهند خوابید زیرا یهوه خدایشان از ایشان تفقد نموده، اسیران ایشان را باز خواهدآورد.

And it will belong [the] region to [the] remnant of [the] house of Judah on them they will graze! in [the] houses of Ashkelon in the evening they will lie down! for he will visit them Yahweh God their and he will turn back (captivity their. *Qk)

۸ 8 ملامت موآب و سرزنش بنی عمون راشنیدم که چگونه قوم مرا ملامت می‌کنند و برسرحد ایشان فخر می‌نمایند.

I have heard [the] reproach of Moab and [the] reviling words of [the] people of Ammon who they have reproached people my and they have magnified themselves on territory their.

۹ 9 بنابراین، یهوه صبایوت خدای اسرائیل می‌گوید: به حیات خودم قسم که موآب مثل سدوم و بنی عمون مثل عموره خواهد شد. محل خارها و حفره های نمک و ویرانی ابدی خواهد شد. بقیه قوم من آنهارا غارت خواهند نمود و بقیه امت من ایشان را به تصرف خواهند‌آورد.

Therefore [by] [the] life of me [the] utterance of Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel that Moab like Sodom it will be and [the] people of Ammon like Gomorrah a place possessed of nettle[s] and a pit of salt and a waste until perpetuity [the] remnant of people my they will plunder them and [the] rest ofK: (nation my *QK) they will take possession of them.

۱۰ 10 این به‌سبب تکبر ایشان بر ایشان وارد خواهد آمد زیرا که قوم یهوه صبایوت را ملامت نموده، بر ایشان فخر کردند.

This [will belong] to them in place of pride their for they reproached and they magnified themselves on [the] people of Yahweh of hosts.

۱۱ 11 پس خداوند به ضد ایشان مهیب خواهد بودزیرا که تمامی خدایان جهان را زایل خواهدساخت و جمیع جزایر امت‌ها هر کدام از جای خود او را عبادت خواهند کرد.

[will be] awesome Yahweh on them if he will make lean all [the] gods of the earth so they may bow down to him everyone from own place his all [the] islands of the nations.

۱۲ 12 و شما نیز‌ای حبشیان به شمشیر من کشته خواهید شد.

Also you O Cushites [are those] slain of sword my they.

۱۳ 13 و دست خود را بر زمین شمال دراز کرده، آشور را هلاک خواهد کرد و نینوی را به ویرانی وبه زمین خشک مثل بیابان مبدل خواهد نمود.

And he may stretch out hand his on [the] north so he may destroy Assyria and he may make Nineveh a waste a dry region like the wilderness.

۱۴ 14 وگله‌ها و تمامی حیوانات امت‌ها در میانش خواهند خوابید و مرغ سقا و خارپشت برتاجهای ستونهایش منزل خواهند گرفت و آوازسراینده از پنجره هایش مسموع خواهد شد وخرابی بر آستانه هایش خواهد بود زیرا که چوب سرو آزادش را برهنه خواهد کرد.

And they will lie down in [the] midst of it herds every animal of a nation both desert owl as well as hedgehog on capitals its they will spend [the] night a sound it will sing in the window desolation [will be] on the threshold for cedar-work he will lay bare.

۱۵ 15 این است شهر فرحناک که در اطمینان ساکن می‌بود و در دل خود می‌گفت: «من هستم و غیر از من دیگری نیست؛ من هستم و غیر از من دیگری نیست.» چگونه خراب شد! خوابگاه حیوانات گردیده است! هر‌که از آن عبور کند بر آن سخریه کرده، دست خود را خواهد جنبانید!

This [is] the city jubilant which dwells to security which says in heart its I and only I [am] yet how! - it has become a waste a resting place for animal[s] every [one who] passes by at it he will hiss he will shake hand his.
