غزل غزلها 8

۱ 1 کاش که مثل برادر من که پستانهای مادر مرامکید می‌بودی، تا چون تو را بیرون می‌یافتم تو را می‌بوسیدم و مرا رسوانمی ساختند.

O that thou wert as my brother, That sucked the breast of my mother! When I found thee abroad, I might kiss thee; And for it no one would deride me.

۲ 2 تو را رهبری می‌کردم و به خانه مادرم در می‌آوردم تا مرا تعلیم می‌دادی تا شراب ممزوج و عصیر انار خود را به تو می‌نوشانیدم.

I will lead thee, and bring thee into my mother's house, that thou mayst teach me; I will give thee spiced wine to drink, and the juice of my pomegranates.

۳ 3 دست چپ او زیر سر من می‌بود و دست راستش مرا در آغوش می‌کشید.

His left hand is under my head, And his right hand embraceth me.

۴ 4 ‌ای دختران اورشلیم شما را قسم می‌دهم که محبوب مرا تا خودش نخواهد بیدار نکنید و برنینگیزانید.

[[Lov.]] I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem! That ye stir not up, nor awake my love, Till she please!

۵ 5 این کیست که بر محبوب خود تکیه کرده، ازصحرا برمی آید؟

[[Lad.]] Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, Leaning upon her beloved? [[M.]] Under the apple-tree I awakened thee; There thy mother brought thee forth; There she that bore thee brought thee forth!

۶ 6 مرا مثل خاتم بر دلت و مثل نگین بر بازویت بگذار، زیرا که محبت مثل موت زورآور است و غیرت مثل هاویه ستم کیش می‌باشد. شعله هایش شعله های آتش و لهیب یهوه است. (Sheol h7585)

O set me as a seal upon thy heart, As a seal upon thine arm! For love is strong as death; True love is firm as the grave: Its flames are flames of fire, The fire of Jehovah. (Sheol h7585)

۷ 7 آبهای بسیار محبت را خاموش نتواند کرد و سیلها آن را نتواند فرو نشانید. اگر کسی تمامی اموال خانه خویش رابرای محبت بدهد آن را البته خوار خواهندشمرد.

Many waters cannot quench love, Nor can floods drown it. Would a man give all the wealth of his house for love, It would be utterly contemned.

۸ 8 ما را خواهری کوچک است که پستان ندارد. به جهت خواهر خود در روزی که او راخواستگاری کنند چه بکنیم؟

[[Br.]] We have a sister who is yet young; She is yet without breasts. What shall we do with our sister, When she shall be spoken for?

۹ 9 اگر دیوار می‌بود، بر او برج نقره‌ای بنا می‌کردیم. و اگر دروازه می‌بود، او را به تخته های سرو آزادمی پوشانیدیم.

If she be a wall, We will build upon it a silver tower; If she be an open gate, We will inclose her with planks of cedar.

۱۰ 10 من دیوار هستم و پستانهایم مثل برجهااست. لهذا در نظر او از‌جمله یابندگان سلامتی شده‌ام.

[[Sis.]] I am a wall, and my breasts like towers; Therefore am I become in his eyes as one that findeth peace.

۱۱ 11 سلیمان تاکستانی در بعل هامون داشت و تاکستان را به ناطوران سپرد، که هر کس برای میوه‌اش هزار نقره بدهد.

Solomon had a vineyard at Baal-hamon; He let out the vineyard to keepers; Every one was to bring a thousand shekels of silver for its fruit.

۱۲ 12 تاکستانم که از آن من است پیش روی من می‌باشد. برای تو‌ای سلیمان هزار و برای ناطوران میوه‌اش، دویست خواهدبود.

My vineyard is before my eyes. Be thine the thousand, O Solomon! And two hundred to the keepers of its fruit!

۱۳ 13 ‌ای (محبوبه ) که در باغات می‌نشینی، رفیقان آواز تو را می‌شنوند، مرا نیز بشنوان.

[[Lov.]] Thou that dwellest in the gardens! Friends listen to thy voice; Let me hear thee!

۱۴ 14 ‌ای محبوب من، فرار کن و مثل غزال یا بچه آهو بر کوههای عطریات باش.

Fly, my beloved! like a gazelle, or a young hind, Upon the mountains of spices.
