| پس چه گوییم؟ آیا در گناه بمانیم تا فیض افزون گردد؟ | ۱ 1 |
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
| حاشا! مایانی که از گناه مردیم، چگونه دیگر در آن زیست کنیم؟ | ۲ 2 |
Absolutely not. We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?
| یانمی دانید که جمیع ما که در مسیح عیسی تعمیدیافتیم، در موت او تعمید یافتیم؟ | ۳ 3 |
Or do you not know that all we who were immersed into Messiah Yeshua were immersed into his death?
| پس چونکه در موت او تعمید یافتیم، با او دفن شدیم تا آنکه به همین قسمی که مسیح به جلال پدر از مردگان برخاست، ما نیز در تازگی حیات رفتار نماییم. | ۴ 4 |
We were buried therefore with him through immersion to death, that just like Messiah was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
| زیرا اگر بر مثال موت او متحد گشتیم، هرآینه در قیامت وی نیز چنین خواهیم شد. | ۵ 5 |
For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;
| زیرا این رامی دانیم که انسانیت کهنه ما با او مصلوب شد تاجسد گناه معدوم گشته، دیگر گناه را بندگی نکنیم. | ۶ 6 |
knowing this, that our old self was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.
| زیرا هر‌که مرد، از گناه مبرا شده است. | ۷ 7 |
For he who has died has been freed from sin.
| پس هرگاه با مسیح مردیم، یقین می‌دانیم که با اوزیست هم خواهیم کرد. | ۸ 8 |
But if we died with Messiah, we believe that we will also live with him;
| زیرا می‌دانیم که چون مسیح از مردگان برخاست، دیگر نمی میرد و بعداز این موت بر او تسلطی ندارد. | ۹ 9 |
knowing that Messiah, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no more has dominion over him.
| زیرا به آنچه مرد یک مرتبه برای گناه مرد و به آنچه زندگی می‌کند، برای خدا زیست می‌کند. | ۱۰ 10 |
For the death that he died, he died to sin one time; but the life that he lives, he lives to God.
| همچنین شما نیز خود را برای گناه مرده انگارید، اما برای خدا در مسیح عیسی زنده. | ۱۱ 11 |
In the same way, consider yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Messiah Yeshua.
| پس گناه در جسم فانی شما حکمرانی نکند تا هوسهای آن را اطاعت نمایید، | ۱۲ 12 |
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
| واعضای خود را به گناه مسپارید تا آلات ناراستی شوند، بلکه خود را از مردگان زنده شده به خداتسلیم کنید و اعضای خود را تا آلات عدالت برای خدا باشند. | ۱۳ 13 |
Neither present your members to sin as instruments of unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
| زیرا گناه بر شما سلطنت نخواهد کرد، چونکه زیر شریعت نیستید بلکه زیرفیض. | ۱۴ 14 |
For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace.
| پس چه گوییم؟ آیا گناه بکنیم از آنرو که زیر شریعت نیستیم بلکه زیر فیض؟ حاشا! | ۱۵ 15 |
What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? Absolutely not.
| آیانمی دانید که اگر خویشتن را به بندگی کسی تسلیم کرده، او را اطاعت نمایید، شما آنکس را که او رااطاعت می‌کنید بنده هستید، خواه گناه را برای مرگ، خواه اطاعت را برای عدالت. | ۱۶ 16 |
Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, whether of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?
| اما شکرخدا را که هرچند غلامان گناه می‌بودید، لیکن الان از دل، مطیع آن صورت تعلیم گردیده‌اید که به آن سپرده شده‌اید. | ۱۷ 17 |
But thanks be to God, that, whereas you were slaves of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were entrusted.
| و از گناه آزاد شده، غلامان عدالت گشته‌اید. | ۱۸ 18 |
Being made free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.
| بطور انسان، به‌سبب ضعف جسم شما سخن می‌گویم، زیرا همچنان‌که اعضای خود را بندگی نجاست و گناه برای گناه سپردید، همچنین الان نیز اعضای خود را به بندگی عدالت برای قدوسیت بسپارید. | ۱۹ 19 |
I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh, for as you presented your members as slaves to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as slaves to righteousness for sanctification.
| زیراهنگامی که غلامان گناه می‌بودید از عدالت آزادمی بودید. | ۲۰ 20 |
For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.
| پس آن وقت چه ثمر داشتید از آن کارهایی که الان از آنها شرمنده‌اید که انجام آنهاموت است؟ | ۲۱ 21 |
What fruit then did you have at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.
