رومیان 10

۱ 1 ای برادران خوشی دل من و دعای من نزد خدا بجهت اسرائیل برای نجات ایشان است.

Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is for their salvation.

۲ 2 زیرا بجهت ایشان شهادت می‌دهم که برای خدا غیرت دارند لکن نه از روی معرفت.

For I testify about them that they are zealous for God, but not on the basis of knowledge.

۳ 3 زیرا که چون عدالت خدا را نشناخته، می‌خواستند عدالت خود را ثابت کنند، مطیع عدالت خدا نگشتند.

Because they were ignorant of God’s righteousness and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.

۴ 4 زیرا که مسیح است انجام شریعت بجهت عدالت برای هر کس که ایمان آورد.

For Christ is the end of the law, to bring righteousness to everyone who believes.

۵ 5 زیرا موسی عدالت شریعت را بیان می‌کندکه «هر‌که به این عمل کند، در این خواهدزیست.»

For concerning the righteousness that is by the law, Moses writes: “The man who does these things will live by them.”

۶ 6 لکن عدالت ایمان بدینطور سخن می‌گوید که «در خاطر خود مگو کیست که به آسمان صعود کند یعنی تا مسیح را فرود آورد،

But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down)

۷ 7 یا کیست که به هاویه نزول کند یعنی تا مسیح رااز مردگان برآورد.» (Abyssos g12)

or, ‘Who will descend into the Abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).” (Abyssos g12)

۸ 8 لکن چه می‌گوید؟ اینکه «کلام نزد تو و در دهانت و در قلب تو است یعنی‌این کلام ایمان که به آن وعظ می‌کنیم.»

But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:

۹ 9 زیرا اگربه زبان خود عیسی خداوند را اعتراف کنی و دردل خود ایمان آوری که خدا او را از مردگان برخیزانید، نجات خواهی یافت.

that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

۱۰ 10 چونکه به دل ایمان آورده می‌شود برای عدالت و به زبان اعتراف می‌شود بجهت نجات.

For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.

۱۱ 11 و کتاب می‌گوید «هر‌که به او ایمان آورد خجل نخواهدشد.»

It is just as the Scripture says: “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”

۱۲ 12 زیرا که در یهود و یونانی تفاوتی نیست که همان خداوند، خداوند همه است و دولتمنداست برای همه که نام او را می‌خوانند.

For there is no difference between Jew and Greek: The same Lord is Lord of all, and gives richly to all who call on Him,

۱۳ 13 زیرا هرکه نام خداوند را بخواند نجات خواهد یافت.

for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

۱۴ 14 پس چگونه بخوانند کسی را که به او ایمان نیاورده‌اند؟ و چگونه ایمان آورند به کسی‌که خبراو را نشنیده‌اند؟ و چگونه بشنوند بدون واعظ؟

How then can they call on the One in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach?

۱۵ 15 و چگونه وعظ کنند جز اینکه فرستاده شوند؟ چنانکه مکتوب است که «چه زیبا است پایهای آنانی که به سلامتی بشارت می‌دهند و به چیزهای نیکو مژده می‌دهند.»

And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

۱۶ 16 لکن همه بشارت را گوش نگرفتند زیرا اشعیا می‌گوید «خداوندا کیست که اخبار ما را باور کرد؟»

But not all of them welcomed the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”

۱۷ 17 لهذا ایمان از شنیدن است و شنیدن از کلام خدا.

Consequently, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

۱۸ 18 لکن می‌گویم آیانشنیدند؟ البته شنیدند: «صوت ایشان در تمام جهان منتشر گردید و کلام ایشان تا اقصای ربع مسکون رسید.»

But I ask, did they not hear? Indeed they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”

۱۹ 19 و می‌گویم آیا اسرائیل ندانسته‌اند؟ اول موسی می‌گوید: «من شما را به غیرت می‌آورم به آن که امتی نیست و بر قوم بی‌فهم شما را خشمگین خواهم ساخت.»

I ask instead, did Israel not understand? First, Moses says: “I will make you jealous by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation without understanding.”

۲۰ 20 واشعیا نیز جرات کرده، می‌گوید: آنانی که طالب من نبودند مرا یافتند و به کسانی که مرا نطلبیدندظاهر گردیدم.»

And Isaiah boldly says: “I was found by those who did not seek Me; I revealed Myself to those who did not ask for Me.”

۲۱ 21 اما در حق اسرائیل می‌گوید: «تمام روز دستهای خود را دراز کردم به سوی قومی نامطیع و مخالف.»

But as for Israel he says: “All day long I have held out My hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.”
