| و چون فرشته پنجم نواخت، ستاره‌ای رادیدم که بر زمین افتاده بود و کلید چاه هاویه بدو داده شد. (Abyssos g12) | ۱ 1 |
Then the fifth angel sounded his trumpet. I saw a star from heaven that had fallen to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit. (Abyssos g12)
| و چاه هاویه را گشاد ودودی چون دود تنوری عظیم از چاه بالا آمد وآفتاب و هوا از دود چاه تاریک گشت. (Abyssos g12) | ۲ 2 |
He opened the shaft of the bottomless pit, and smoke went up out of the shaft like smoke from a huge furnace. The sun and the air turned dark by the smoke pouring out of the shaft. (Abyssos g12)
| و از میان دود، ملخها به زمین برآمدند و به آنها قوتی چون قوت عقربهای زمین داده شد | ۳ 3 |
Out of the smoke locusts came on the earth, and they were given power like that of scorpions on the earth.
| و بدیشان گفته شدکه ضرر نرسانند نه به گیاه زمین و نه به هیچ سبزی و نه به درختی بلکه به آن مردمانی که مهر خدا رابر پیشانی خود ندارند. | ۴ 4 |
They were told not to damage the grass on the earth or any green plant or tree, but only the people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
| و به آنها داده شد که ایشان را نکشند بلکه تا مدت پنج ماه معذب بدارند و اذیت آنها مثل اذیت عقرب بود، وقتی که کسی را نیش زند. | ۵ 5 |
They were not given permission to kill those people, but only to torture them for five months. Their agony would be like the sting of a scorpion when it strikes a person.
| و در آن ایام، مردم طلب موت خواهند کرد و آن را نخواهند یافت و تمنای موت خواهند داشت، اما موت از ایشان خواهدگریخت. | ۶ 6 |
In those days people will seek death, but will not find it. They will greatly desire to die, but death will flee from them.
| و صورت ملخها چون اسبهای آراسته شده برای جنگ بود و بر سر ایشان مثل تاجهای شبیه طلا، و چهره های ایشان شبیه صورت انسان بود. | ۷ 7 |
The locusts looked like horses prepared for war. On their heads were something like crowns of gold, and their faces were like human faces.
| و مویی داشتند چون موی زنان، و دندانهایشان مانند دندانهای شیران بود. | ۸ 8 |
They had hair like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth.
| و جوشنها داشتند، چون جوشنهای آهنین و صدای بالهای ایشان، مثل صدای ارابه های اسبهای بسیار که به جنگ همی تازند. | ۹ 9 |
They had breastplates like iron breastplates, and the sound of their wings was like the sound made by many chariots and horses running into battle.
| و دمها چون عقربها با نیشهاداشتند؛ و در دم آنها قدرت بود که تا مدت پنج ماه مردم را اذیت نمایند. | ۱۰ 10 |
They had tails with stingers like scorpions; in their tails they had power to harm people for five months.
| و بر خود، پادشاهی داشتند که ملک الهاویه است که در عبرانی به ابدون مسمی است و در یونانی او را اپلیون خوانند. (Abyssos g12) | ۱۱ 11 |
They had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in Hebrew was Abaddon, and in Greek he had the name Apollyon. (Abyssos g12)
| یک وای گذشته است. اینک دو وای دیگر بعد از این می‌آید. | ۱۲ 12 |
The first woe is past. Look! After this there are still two disasters to come.
| و فرشته ششم بنواخت که ناگاه آوازی از میان چهار شاخ مذبح طلایی که در حضور خداست شنیدم | ۱۳ 13 |
The sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice coming from the horns of the golden altar that is present before God.
| که به آن فرشته ششم که صاحب کرنابود می‌گوید: «آن چهار فرشته را که بر نهر عظیم فرات بسته‌اند، خلاص کن.» | ۱۴ 14 |
The voice said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great Euphrates River.”
| پس آن چهارفرشته که برای ساعت و روز و ماه و سال معین مهیا شده‌اند تا اینکه ثلث مردم را بکشند، خلاصی یافتند. | ۱۵ 15 |
The four angels who had been prepared for that hour, that day, that month, and that year, were released to kill a third of mankind.
| و عدد جنود سواران، دویست هزار هزار بود که عدد ایشان را شنیدم. | ۱۶ 16 |
The number of the soldiers on horseback was 200,000,000. I heard their number.
| و به اینطور اسبان و سواران ایشان را دررویا دیدم که جوشنهای آتشین و آسمانجونی وکبریتی دارند و سرهای اسبان چون سر شیران است و از دهانشان آتش و دود و کبریت بیرون می‌آید. | ۱۷ 17 |
This is how I saw the horses in my vision and those who rode on them: Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue and sulfurous yellow. The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and sulfur.
| از این سه بلا یعنی آتش و دود وکبریت که از دهانشان برمی آید، ثلث مردم هلاک شدند. | ۱۸ 18 |
A third of the people were killed by these three plagues: the fire, smoke, and sulfur that came out of their mouths.
| زیرا که قدرت اسبان در دهان و دم ایشان است، زیرا که دمهای آنها چون مارهاست که سرها دارد و به آنها اذیت می‌کنند. | ۱۹ 19 |
For the power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails—for their tails were like snakes, and they had heads with which they inflicted wounds on people.
| و سایرمردم که به این بلایا کشته نگشتند، از اعمال دستهای خود توبه نکردند تا آنکه عبادت دیوها وبتهای طلا و نقره و برنج و سنگ و چوب را که طاقت دیدن و شنیدن و خرامیدن ندارند، ترک کنند؛ | ۲۰ 20 |
The rest of mankind, those who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the deeds they had done, nor did they stop worshiping demons and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood—things that cannot see, hear, or walk.
| و از قتل‌ها و جادوگریها و زنا و دزدیهای خود توبه نکردند. | ۲۱ 21 |
Neither did they repent of their murders, their sorcery, their sexual immorality or their acts of theft.
