مکاشفهٔ یوحنا 3

۱ 1 «و به فرشته کلیسای در ساردس بنویس این را می‌گوید او که هفت روح خدا و هفت ستاره را دارد. اعمال تو را می‌دانم که نام داری که زنده‌ای ولی مرده هستی.

"And to the angel of the congregation in Sardis write: "He who has the seven Ruachs of God, and the seven stars says these things: "I know your works, that you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

۲ 2 بیدار شو و مابقی را که نزدیک به فنا است، استوار نما زیرا که هیچ عمل تو را در حضور خدا کامل نیافتم.

Wake up, and keep the things that remain, which were about to die, for I have found no works of yours perfected before my God.

۳ 3 پس بیاد آورچگونه یافته‌ای و شنیده‌ای و حفظ کن و توبه نمازیرا هرگاه بیدار نباشی، مانند دزد بر تو خواهم آمد و از ساعت آمدن من بر تو مطلع نخواهی شد.

Remember therefore how you have received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If therefore you do not wake up, I will come as a thief, and you won't know what hour I will come to you.

۴ 4 «لکن در ساردس اسمهای چند داری که لباس خود را نجس نساخته‌اند و در لباس سفید با من خواهند خرامید زیرا که مستحق هستند.

Nevertheless you have a few names in Sardis that did not defile their garments. They will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.

۵ 5 هرکه غالب آید به‌جامه سفید ملبس خواهد شد واسم او را از دفتر حیات محو نخواهم ساخت بلکه به نام وی در حضور پدرم و فرشتگان او اقرارخواهم نمود.

He who overcomes will be arrayed in white garments, and I will in no way blot his name out of the Book of Life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

۶ 6 آنکه گوش دارد بشنود که روح به کلیساها چه می‌گوید.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Ruach says to the congregations.

۷ 7 «و به فرشته کلیسای در فیلادلفیه بنویس که این را می‌گوید آن قدوس و حق که کلید داود رادارد که می‌گشاید و هیچ‌کس نخواهد بست ومی بندد و هیچ‌کس نخواهد گشود.

"To the angel of the congregation in Philadelphia write: "These are the words of the Holy One, the True One, he who has the key of David, he who opens and no one can shut, and who shuts and no one opens:

۸ 8 اعمال تو رامی دانم. اینک دری گشاده پیش روی تو گذارده‌ام که کسی آن را نتواند بست، زیرا اندک قوتی داری و کلام مرا حفظ کرده، اسم مرا انکار ننمودی.

"I know your works. Look, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut. For you have a little power, and have kept my word, and did not deny my name.

۹ 9 اینک می‌دهم آنانی را از کنیسه شیطان که خودرا یهود می‌نامند و نیستند بلکه دروغ می‌گویند. اینک ایشان را مجبور خواهم نمود که بیایند وپیش پایهای تو سجده کنند و بدانند که من تو رامحبت نموده‌ام.

Look, I give of the synagogue of Satan, of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but lie; look, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.

۱۰ 10 چونکه کلام صبر مرا حفظنمودی، من نیز تو را محفوظ خواهم داشت، ازساعت امتحان که بر تمام ربع مسکون خواهد آمدتا تمامی ساکنان زمین را بیازماید.

Because you kept my command to endure, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, which is to come on the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

۱۱ 11 بزودی می‌آیم، پس آنچه داری حفظ کن مبادا کسی تاج تو را بگیرد.

I am coming quickly. Hold firmly that which you have, so that no one takes your crown.

۱۲ 12 هر‌که غالب آید، او را در هیکل خدای خود ستونی خواهم ساخت و دیگر هرگزبیرون نخواهد رفت و نام خدای خود را و نام شهرخدای خود یعنی اورشلیم جدید را که از آسمان از جانب خدای من نازل می‌شود و نام جدید خودرا بر وی خواهم نوشت.

He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will go out from there no more. I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, and my own new name.

۱۳ 13 آنکه گوش داردبشنود که روح به کلیساها چه می‌گوید.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Ruach says to the congregations.

۱۴ 14 «و به فرشته کلیسای در لائودکیه بنویس که این را می‌گوید آمین و شاهد امین و صدیق که ابتدای خلقت خداست.

"To the angel of the congregation in Laodicea write: "The Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Head of God's creation, says these things:

۱۵ 15 اعمال تو را می‌دانم که نه سرد و نه گرم هستی. کاشکه سرد بودی یاگرم.

"I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot.

۱۶ 16 لهذا چون فاتر هستی یعنی نه گرم و نه سرد، تو را از دهان خود قی خواهم کرد.

So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of my mouth.

۱۷ 17 زیرامی گویی دولتمند هستم و دولت اندوخته‌ام و به هیچ‌چیز محتاج نیستم و نمی دانی که تو مستمندو مسکین هستی و فقیر و کور و عریان.

Because you say, 'I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing;' and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked;

۱۸ 18 تو رانصیحت می‌کنم که زر مصفای به آتش را از من بخری تا دولتمند شوی، و رخت سفید را تاپوشانیده شوی و ننگ عریانی تو ظاهر نشود وسرمه را تا به چشمان خود کشیده بینایی یابی.

I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, that you may become rich; and white garments, that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eye salve to put on your eyes, that you may see.

۱۹ 19 هر‌که را من دوست می‌دارم، توبیخ وتادیب می‌نمایم. پس غیور شو و توبه نما.

As many as I love, I rebuke and discipline. Be zealous therefore, and repent.

۲۰ 20 اینک بر در ایستاده می‌کوبم؛ اگر کسی آوازمرا بشنود و در را باز کند، به نزد او درخواهم آمد و با وی شام خواهم خورد و او نیز با من.

Look, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me.

۲۱ 21 آنکه غالب آید، این را به وی خواهم داد که بر تخت من با من بنشیند، چنانکه من غلبه یافتم و با پدر خود بر تخت او نشستم.

He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne.

۲۲ 22 هر‌که گوش دارد بشنود که روح به کلیساها چه می‌گوید.»
