مزامیر 92

۱ 1 مزمور و سرود برای روز سبت خداوند را حمد گفتن نیکو است و به نام تو تسبیح خواندن، ای حضرت اعلی.

Yahweh, it is good for people to thank you and to sing to praise you [MTY] who are greater than any other god.

۲ 2 بامدادان رحمت تو را اعلام نمودن و درهر شب امانت تو را.

It is good to proclaim every morning that you faithfully love us, and each night [to sing songs that] declare that you always do what you have promised to do,

۳ 3 بر ذات ده اوتار و بر رباب وبه نغمه هجایون و بربط.

accompanied by [musicians playing] harps that have ten strings, and by the sounds made by a lyre.

۴ 4 زیرا که‌ای خداوند مرابه‌کارهای خودت شادمان ساخته‌ای. به‌سبب اعمال دستهای تو ترنم خواهم نمود.

Yahweh, you have caused me to be glad; I sing joyfully because of what you [SYN] have done.

۵ 5 ‌ای خداوند اعمال تو چه عظیم است و فکرهای توبی نهایت عمیق.

Yahweh, the things that you do are great! But it is difficult for us to understand [all] that you think.

۶ 6 مرد وحشی این را نمی داند و جاهل در این تامل نمی کند.

There are things [that you do] that foolish people cannot know about, things that stupid people cannot understand.

۷ 7 وقتی که شریران مثل علف می‌رویند و جمیع بدکاران می‌شکفند، برای این است که تا به ابد هلاک گردند.

They do not understand that although the number of wicked [people] increases [like blades of] grass do [SIM], and they prosper, they will be completely destroyed.

۸ 8 لیکن توای خداوند بر اعلی علیین هستی، تا ابدالاباد.

But Yahweh, you [will] exalted/be honored/rule) forever.

۹ 9 زیرا اینک دشمنان تو‌ای خداوند، هان دشمنان تو هلاک خواهند شد و جمیع بدکاران پراکنده خواهند شد.

Yahweh, your enemies will [certainly] die, and those who do wicked things will be defeated/scattered.

۱۰ 10 و اما شاخ مرا مثل شاخ گاو وحشی بلندکرده‌ای و به روغن تازه مسح شده‌ام.

But you have caused me to be as strong [MTY] as [SIM] a wild ox; you have caused me to be very joyful [MTY].

۱۱ 11 و چشم من بر دشمنانم خواهد نگریست و گوشهای من ازشریرانی که با من مقاومت می‌کنند خواهد شنید.

I [SYN] have seen you defeat my enemies; d I have heard those evil men wail/scream while they were being slaughtered.

۱۲ 12 عادل مثل درخت خرما خواهد شکفت و مثل سرو آزاد در لبنان نمو خواهد کرد.

But righteous [people] will prosper like [SIM] palm trees that grow well, or like [SIM] cedar [trees] that grow in Lebanon.

۱۳ 13 آنانی که درخانه خداوند غرس شده‌اند، در صحنهای خدای ما خواهند شکفت.

[They are like the trees] that grow near the temple of Yahweh [in Jerusalem], those trees that are close to the courtyard of the temple of our God.

۱۴ 14 در وقت پیری نیز میوه خواهند‌آورد و تر و تازه و سبز خواهند بود.

[Even] when righteous people become old, they do many things [IDM] [that please God]. They remain strong and full of energy, [like trees that] [MET] remain full of sap.

۱۵ 15 تااعلام کنند که خداوند راست است. او صخره من است و در وی هیچ بی‌انصافی نیست.

That shows that Yahweh is just; he is [like a huge] rock [under which I am safe/protected], and he never does anything that is wicked/wrong.
