مزامیر 9

۱ 1 برای سالار مغنیان برموت لبین. مزمور داود خداوند را به تمامی دل حمد خواهم گفت؛ جمیع عجایب تو را بیان خواهم کرد.

To the chief Musician upon Muthlabben, A Psalm of David. I will praise [thee], O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

۲ 2 در تو شادی و وجد خواهم نمود؛ نام تو راای متعال خواهم سرایید.

I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

۳ 3 چون دشمنانم به عقب بازگردند، آنگاه لغزیده، از حضور تو هلاک خواهند شد.

When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.

۴ 4 زیرا انصاف و داوری من کردی. داور عادل بر مسند نشسته‌ای.

For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.

۵ 5 امت‌ها را توبیخ نموده‌ای و شریران را هلاک ساخته، نام ایشان رامحو کرده‌ای تا ابدالاباد.

Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.

۶ 6 و اما دشمنان نیست شده خرابه های ابدی گردیده‌اند. و شهرها را ویران ساخته‌ای، حتی ذکر آنها نابود گردید.

O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.

۷ 7 لیکن خداوند نشسته است تا ابدالاباد، و تخت خویش را برای داوری برپاداشته است.

But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.

۸ 8 و او ربع مسکون را به عدالت داوری خواهد کرد، و امت‌ها را به راستی دادخواهد داد.

And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

۹ 9 و خداوند قلعه بلند برای کوفته شدگان خواهد بود، قلعه بلند در زمانهای تنگی.

The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

۱۰ 10 و آنانی که نام تو را می‌شناسند بر توتوکل خواهند داشت، زیرا‌ای خداوند تو طالبان خود را هرگز ترک نکرده‌ای.

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

۱۱ 11 خداوند را که بر صهیون نشسته است بسرایید؛ کارهای او را در میان قوم‌ها اعلان نمایید،

Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.

۱۲ 12 زیرا او که انتقام گیرنده خون است، ایشان را به یاد آورده، و فریاد مساکین را فراموش نکرده است.

When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.

۱۳ 13 ‌ای خداوند بر من کرم فرموده، به ظلمی که از خصمان خود می‌کشم نظر افکن! ای که برافرازنده من از درهای موت هستی!

Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble [which I suffer] of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:

۱۴ 14 تا همه تسبیحات تو را بیان کنم در دروازه های دخترصهیون. در نجات تو شادی خواهم نمود.

That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.

۱۵ 15 امت‌ها به چاهی که کنده بودند خودافتادند؛ در دامی که نهفته بودند پای ایشان گرفتار شد.

The heathen are sunk down in the pit [that] they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

۱۶ 16 خداوند خود را شناسانیده است و داوری کرده، و شریر از کار دست خود به دام گرفتارگردیده است. هجایون سلاه.

The LORD is known [by] the judgment [which] he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. (Higgaion, Selah)

۱۷ 17 شریران به هاویه خواهند برگشت و جمیع امت هایی که خدا رافراموش می‌کنند، (Sheol h7585)

The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that forget God. (Sheol h7585)

۱۸ 18 زیرا مسکین همیشه فراموش نخواهد شد؛ امید حلیمان تا به ابد ضایع نخواهد بود.

For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall [not] perish for ever.

۱۹ 19 برخیز‌ای خداوند تا انسان غالب نیاید. برامت‌ها به حضور تو داوری خواهد شد.

Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.

۲۰ 20 ‌ای خداوند ترس را بر ایشان مستولی گردان، تاامت‌ها بدانند که انسانند. سلاه.

Put them in fear, O LORD: [that] the nations may know themselves [to be but] men. (Selah)
