| برای سالار مغنیان بر لاتهلک. مزمور و سرود آساف تو را حمد می‌گوییم! ای خدا تو راحمد می‌گوییم! زیرا نام تو نزدیک است و مردم کارهای عجیب تو را ذکر می‌کنند. | ۱ 1 |
We give thanks to you; our God, we thank you. You are close to us, and we proclaim to others the wonderful things that you have done [for us].
| هنگامی که به زمان معین برسم براستی داوری خواهم کرد. | ۲ 2 |
[You have said], “I have appointed a time when I will judge people, and I will judge [everyone] fairly.
| زمین و جمیع ساکنانش گداخته شده‌اند. من ارکان آن را برقرار نموده‌ام، سلاه. | ۳ 3 |
When the earth shakes and all the creatures on the earth tremble, I am the one who will (keep its foundations steady/prevent it from being destroyed).
| متکبران را گفتم: «فخر مکنید!» و به شریران که «شاخ خود را میفرازید. | ۴ 4 |
I say to people who (boast/talk proudly about themselves), ‘Stop bragging!’ and I say to wicked people, ‘Do not proudly [do things to] show how great you are [IDM]!
| شاخهای خود را به بلندی میفرازید. و با گردن کشی سخنان تکبرآمیز مگویید.» | ۵ 5 |
Do not be arrogant, and do not speak so boastfully!’”
| زیرا نه از مشرق و نه از مغرب، و نه ازجنوب سرافرازی می‌آید. | ۶ 6 |
The one who judges people does not come from the east or from the west, and he does not come from the desert.
| لیکن خدا، داور است. این را به زیر می‌اندازدو آن را سرافراز می‌نماید. | ۷ 7 |
God is the one who judges people; he says that some have sinned and must be punished, and that others have not done what is wrong.
| زیرا در دست خداوند کاسه‌ای است و باده آن پرجوش. ازشراب ممزوج پر است که از آن می‌ریزد. و امادردهایش را جمیع شریران جهان افشرده، خواهند نوشید. | ۸ 8 |
[It is as though] Yahweh holds a cup in his hand; it is filled with wine that [has spices] mixed in it [to cause those who drink it to become more drunk]; and when Yahweh pours it out, he will force all the wicked people to drink it; they will drink every drop of it, [which means that he will give them all the punishment that they deserve].
| و اما من، تا به ابد ذکر خواهم کرد و برای خدای یعقوب ترنم خواهم نمود. | ۹ 9 |
But [as for me], I will never stop saying what the God whom Jacob [worshiped has done]; I will never quit singing to praise him.
| جمیع شاخهای شریران را خواهم برید و اماشاخهای صالحین برافراشته خواهد شد. | ۱۰ 10 |
He will destroy the power [IDM] of wicked people, but he will cause righteous people to become more powerful.
