مزامیر 66

۱ 1 برای سالار مغنیان. سرود و مزمور ای تمامی زمین، برای خدا بانگ شادمانی بزنید!

[Tell] everyone on the earth that they should sing joyfully to praise God!

۲ 2 جلال نام او رابسرایید! و در تسبیح او جلال او را توصیف نمایید!

They should sing songs that say that God [MTY] is very great, and they should tell everyone that he is very glorious!

۳ 3 خدا را گویید: «چه مهیب است کارهای تو! از شدت قوت تو دشمنانت نزد تو تذلل خواهند کرد!

They should say to God, “The things that you do are awesome! You are very powerful, with the result that your enemies (cringe/bow down) in front of you.”

۴ 4 تمامی زمین تو را پرستش خواهند کرد و تو را خواهند سرایید و به نام توترنم خواهند نمود.» سلاه.

Everyone on the earth [should] worship God and sing to praise him and honor him [MTY].

۵ 5 بیایید کارهای خدا را مشاهده کنید. او درکارهای خود به بنی آدم مهیب است.

Come and think about what God has done! Think about the awesome things that he has done.

۶ 6 دریا را به خشکی مبدل ساخت و مردم از نهر با پا عبورکردند. در آنجا بدو شادی نمودیم.

He caused the [Red] Sea to become dry land, [with the result that our] ancestors were able to walk right through it. There we rejoiced because of what he [had done].

۷ 7 در توانایی خود تا به ابد سلطنت می‌کند و چشمانش مراقب امت‌ها است. فتنه انگیزان خویشتن را برنیفرازند، سلاه.

By his great power he rules forever, and he keeps watching all the nations [to see what things they do], [so] those nations that want to rebel [against him] should not be proud.

۸ 8 ‌ای قوم‌ها، خدای ما را متبارک خوانید وآواز تسبیح او را بشنوانید.

You people [of all nations], praise our God! Praise him loudly in order that people will hear you as you praise him.

۹ 9 که جانهای ما را درحیات قرار می‌دهد و نمی گذارد که پایهای مالغزش خورد.

He has kept us alive, and he has not allowed us to (stumble/be defeated).

۱۰ 10 زیرا‌ای خدا تو ما را امتحان کرده‌ای و ما را غال گذاشته‌ای چنانکه نقره راغال می‌گذارند.

God, you have tested us; you have allowed us to experience great difficulties [to make our lives become pure] as [people] put precious metals in a hot fire [to burn out what is impure] [MET].

۱۱ 11 ما را به دام درآوردی و باری گران بر پشتهای ما نهادی.

[It is as if] you allowed us to fall into traps [MET], and you [forced us to endure difficult things which were like] putting heavy loads on our backs [MET].

۱۲ 12 مردمان را بر سرما سوار گردانیدی و به آتش و آب در‌آمدیم. پس ما را به‌جای خرم بیرون آوردی.

You allowed [our] enemies to trample on us; we [experienced difficulties/troubles that were like] [MET] walking through fires and floods, but now you have brought us into a place where we have plenty.

۱۳ 13 قربانی های سوختنی به خانه تو خواهم آورد. نذرهای خود را به تو وفا خواهم نمود،

[Yahweh], I will bring to your temple offerings that are to be completely burned [on the altar]; I will offer to you what I promised.

۱۴ 14 که لبهای خود را بر آنها گشودم و در زمان تنگی خودآنها را به زبان خود آوردم.

When I was experiencing [much] trouble, I said that I would bring offerings to you [if you rescued me]; [and you did rescue me, so] I will bring to you what I promised.

۱۵ 15 قربانی های سوختنی پرواری را نزد تو خواهم گذرانید. گوساله‌ها و بزها را با بخور قوچها ذبح خواهم کرد، سلاه.

I will bring sheep to be burned on the altar, and I will [also] sacrifice bulls and goats, and when they are burning, [you will be pleased when] the smoke [rises up] ([to you/to the sky]).

۱۶ 16 ‌ای همه خداترسان بیایید و بشنوید تا ازآنچه او برای جان من کرده است خبر دهم.

All you [people] who revere God, come and listen, and I will tell you what he has done for me.

۱۷ 17 به دهانم نزد او آواز خود را بلند کردم و تسبیح بلند بر زبان من بود.

I called out to him to help me, and I praised him while I was speaking to him [MTY].

۱۸ 18 اگر بدی را در دل خودمنظور می‌داشتم، خداوند مرا نمی شنید.

If I had ignored the sins that I had committed, the Lord would not have paid any attention to me.

۱۹ 19 لیکن خدا مرا شنیده است و به آواز دعای من توجه فرموده.

But because [I confessed my sins], God has listened to me and he paid attention to my prayers.

۲۰ 20 متبارک باد خدا که دعای مرا ازخود، و رحمت خویش را از من برنگردانیده است.

I praise God because he has not ignored my prayers or stopped faithfully loving me.
