مزامیر 62

۱ 1 برای یدوتون سالار مغنیان. مزمور داود جان من فقط برای خدا خاموش می شود زیرا که نجات من از جانب اوست.

For the end, a Psalm of David for Idithun. Shall not my soul be subjected to God? for of him is my salvation.

۲ 2 او تنها صخره و نجات من است و قلعه بلند من. پس بسیار جنبش نخواهم خورد.

For he is my God, and my saviour; my helper, I shall not be moved very much.

۳ 3 تا به کی بر مردی هجوم می‌آورید تا همگی شما او راهلاک کنید مثل دیوار خمشده و حصار جنبش خورده؟

How long will ye assault a man? ye are all slaughtering as with a bowed wall and a broken hedge.

۴ 4 در این فقط مشورت می‌کنند که او را ازمرتبه‌اش بیندازند. و دروغ را دوست می‌دارند. به زبان خود برکت می‌دهند و در دل خود لعنت می‌کنند، سلاه.

They only took counsel to set at nought mine honour: I ran in thirst: with their mouth they blessed, but with their heart they cursed. (Pause)

۵ 5 ‌ای جان من فقط برای خدا خاموش شو زیراکه امید من از وی است.

Nevertheless do thou, my soul, be subjected to God; for of him [is] my patient hope.

۶ 6 او تنها صخره و نجات من است و قلعه بلند من تا جنبش نخورم.

For he [is] my God and my Saviour; my helper, I shall not be moved.

۷ 7 برخداست نجات و جلال من. صخره قوت من وپناه من در خداست.

In God [is] my salvation and my glory: [he is] the God of my help, and my hope is in God.

۸ 8 ‌ای قوم همه وقت بر اوتوکل کنید و دلهای خود را به حضور وی بریزید. زیرا خدا ملجای ماست، سلاه.

Hope in him, all ye congregation of the people; pour out your hearts before him, for God is our helper. (Pause)

۹ 9 البته بنی آدم بطالت‌اند و بنی بشر دروغ. در ترازو بالا می‌روندزیرا جمیع از بطالت سبکترند.

But the sons of men are vain; the sons of men are false, so as to be deceitful in the balances; they are all alike [formed] out of vanity.

۱۰ 10 بر ظلم توکل مکنید و بر غارت مغرور مشوید. چون دولت افزوده شود دل در آن مبندید.

Trust not in unrighteousness, and lust not after robberies: if wealth should flow in, set not your heart upon it.

۱۱ 11 خدا یک بارگفته است و دو بار این را شنیده‌ام که قوت از آن خداست.

God has spoken once, [and] I have heard these two things, that power is of God;

۱۲ 12 ‌ای خداوند رحمت نیز از آن تواست، زیرا به هر کس موافق عملش جزا خواهی داد.

and mercy is thine, O Lord; for thou wilt recompense every one according to his works.
