| برای سالار مغنیان برلاتهلک. مکتوم داود آیا فی الحقیقت به عدالتی که گنگ است سخن می‌گویید؟ و‌ای بنی آدم آیابه راستی داوری می‌نمایید؟ | ۱ 1 |
For the Chief Musician; [set to] Al-tashheth. [A Psalm] of David. Michtam. Do ye indeed in silence speak righteousness? Do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
| بلکه در دل خودشرارتها به عمل می‌آورید و ظلم دستهای خود رادر زمین از میزان درمی کنید. | ۲ 2 |
Nay, in heart ye work wickedness; Ye weigh out the violence of your hands in the earth.
| شریران از رحم منحرف هستند. از شکم مادر دروغ گفته، گمراه می‌شوند. | ۳ 3 |
The wicked are estranged from the womb: They go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies.
| ایشان را زهری است مثل زهر مار. مثل افعی کر که گوش خود را می‌بندد. | ۴ 4 |
Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: [They are] like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear,
| که آوازافسونگران را نمی شنود، هر‌چند به مهارت افسون می‌کند. | ۵ 5 |
Which hearkeneth not to the voice of charmers, Charming never so wisely.
| ای خدا دندانهایشان را دردهانشان بشکن. ای خداوند دندانهای شیران راخرد بشکن. | ۶ 6 |
Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: Break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Jehovah.
| گداخته شده، مثل آب بگذرند. چون او تیرهای خود را می‌اندازد، در ساعت منقطع خواهند شد. | ۷ 7 |
Let them melt away as water that runneth apace: When he aimeth his arrows, let them be as though they were cut off.
| مثل حلزون که گداخته شده، می‌گذرد. مثل سقط زن، آفتاب را نخواهنددید. | ۸ 8 |
[Let them be] as a snail which melteth and passeth away, [Like] the untimely birth of a woman, that hath not seen the sun.
| قبل از آنکه دیگهای شما آتش خارها رااحساس کند. آنها را چه تر و چه خشک خواهدرفت. | ۹ 9 |
Before your pots can feel the thorns, He will take them away with a whirlwind, the green and the burning alike.
| مرد عادل چون انتقام را دید شادی خواهد نمود. پایهای خود را به خون شریرخواهد شست. | ۱۰ 10 |
The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked;
| و مردم خواهند گفت: «هرآینه ثمره‌ای برای عادلان هست. هر آینه خدایی هست که در جهان داوری می‌کند.» | ۱۱ 11 |
So that men shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: Verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth.
