مزامیر 54

۱ 1 برای سالار مغنیان. قصیده داود بر ذوات اوتاروقتی که زیفیان نزد شاول آمده، گفتند آیا داودنزد ما خود را پنهان نمی کند ای خدا به نام خود مرا نجات بده و به قوت خویش بر من داوری نما.

To the chief music-maker; on Neginoth. Maschil. Of David. When the Ziphites came and said to Saul, Is not David keeping himself secret among us? Let your name be my salvation, O God; let my cause be judged by your strength.

۲ 2 ‌ای خدا دعای مرا بشنو و سخنان زبانم را گوش بگیر.

Let my prayer come before you, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

۳ 3 زیرا بیگانگان به ضد من برخاسته‌اند و ظالمان قصد جان من دارند. و خدا را در مد نظر خودنگذاشته‌اند، سلاه.

For men who are going after me have come out against me, violent men are purposing to take my soul; they have not put God before their eyes. (Selah)

۴ 4 اینک خدا مددکار من است. خداوند از تایید کنندگان جان من است.

See, God is my helper: the Lord is the great supporter of my soul.

۵ 5 بدی رابر دشمنان من خواهد برگردانید. به راستی خودریشه ایشان را بکن.

Let the evil works of my haters come back on them again; let them be cut off by your good faith.

۶ 6 قربانی های تبرعی نزد توخواهم گذرانید و نام تو را‌ای خداوند حمدخواهم گفت زیرا نیکوست.

Freely will I make my offerings to you; I will give praise to your name, O Lord, for it is good.

۷ 7 چونکه از جمیع تنگیها مرا خلاصی داده‌ای، و چشم من بردشمنانم نگریسته است.

Because it has been my saviour from all my trouble; and my eyes have seen the punishment of my haters.
