مزامیر 50

۱ 1 مزمور آساف خدا، خدا یهوه تکلم می‌کند و زمین رااز مطلع آفتاب تا به مغربش می‌خواند.

A Psalm of Asaph. The mighty God, [even] the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

۲ 2 از صهیون که کمال زیبایی است، خدا تجلی نموده است.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.

۳ 3 خدای ما می‌آید و سکوت نخواهد نمود. آتش پیش روی او می‌بلعد. وطوفان شدید گرداگرد وی خواهد بود.

Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

۴ 4 آسمان را از بالا می‌خواند و زمین را، تا قوم خود راداوری کند:

He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

۵ 5 «مقدسان مرا نزد من جمع کنید، که عهد را با من به قربانی بسته‌اند.»

Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

۶ 6 و آسمانها ازانصاف او خبر خواهند داد. زیرا خدا خود داوراست، سلاه.

And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God [is] judge himself. (Selah)

۷ 7 «ای قوم من بشنوتا سخن گویم. و‌ای اسرائیل تا برایت شهادت دهم که خدا، خدای تومن هستم.

Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I [am] God, [even] thy God.

۸ 8 درباره قربانی هایت تو را توبیخ نمی کنم و قربانی های سوختنی تو دائم در نظرمن است.

I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, [to have been] continually before me.

۹ 9 گوساله‌ای از خانه تو نمی گیرم و نه بزی از آغل تو.

I will take no bullock out of thy house, [nor] he goats out of thy folds.

۱۰ 10 زیراکه جمیع حیوانات جنگل از آن منند و بهایمی که بر هزاران کوه می‌باشند.

For every beast of the forest [is] mine, [and] the cattle upon a thousand hills.

۱۱ 11 همه پرندگان کوهها را می‌شناسم و وحوش صحرا نزد من حاضرند.

I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field [are] mine.

۱۲ 12 اگر گرسنه می‌بودم تورا خبر نمی دادم. زیرا ربع مسکون و پری آن از آن من است.

If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world [is] mine, and the fulness thereof.

۱۳ 13 آیا گوشت گاوان را بخورم و خون بزها را بنوشم؟

Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

۱۴ 14 برای خدا قربانی تشکر رابگذران، و نذرهای خویش را به حضرت اعلی وفانما.

Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

۱۵ 15 پس در روز تنگی مرا بخوان تا تو راخلاصی دهم و مرا تمجید بنمایی.»

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

۱۶ 16 و اما به شریر خدا می‌گوید: «ترا چه‌کاراست که فرایض مرا بیان کنی و عهد مرا به زبان خود بیاوری؟

But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or [that] thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?

۱۷ 17 چونکه تو از تادیب نفرت داشته‌ای و کلام مرا پشت سر خود انداخته‌ای.

Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.

۱۸ 18 چون دزد را دیدی او را پسند کردی و نصیب تو با زناکاران است.

When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.

۱۹ 19 دهان خود را به شرارت گشوده‌ای و زبانت حیله را اختراع می‌کند.

Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.

۲۰ 20 نشسته‌ای تا به ضد برادر خود سخن رانی ودرباره پسر مادر خویش غیبت‌گویی.

Thou sittest [and] speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son.

۲۱ 21 این راکردی و من سکوت نمودم. پس گمان بردی که من مثل تو هستم. لیکن تو را توبیخ خواهم کرد. و این را پیش نظر تو به ترتیب خواهم نهاد.

These [things] hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether [such an one] as thyself: [but] I will reprove thee, and set [them] in order before thine eyes.

۲۲ 22 ‌ای فراموش کنندگان خدا، در این تفکر کنید! مباداشما را بدرم و رهاننده‌ای نباشد.

Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear [you] in pieces, and [there be] none to deliver.

۲۳ 23 هر‌که قربانی تشکر را گذراند مرا تمجید می‌کند. و آنکه طریق خود را راست سازد، نجات خدا را به وی نشان خواهم داد.»

Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth [his] conversation [aright] will I shew the salvation of God.
