مزامیر 26

۱ 1 مزمور داود ای خداوند مرا داد بده زیرا که من درکمال خود رفتار نموده‌ام و بر خداوندتوکل داشته‌ام، پس نخواهم لغزید.

Unto the end. A Psalm of David. Judge me, Lord, for I have been walking in my innocence, and by hoping in the Lord, I will not be weakened.

۲ 2 ‌ای خداوندمرا امتحان کن و مرا بیازما. باطن و قلب مرا مصفی گردان.

Examine me, Lord, and test me: enkindle my temperament and my heart.

۳ 3 زیرا که رحمت تو در مد نظر من است ودر راستی تو رفتار نموده‌ام

For your mercy is before my eyes, and I am serene in your truth.

۴ 4 با مردان باطل ننشسته‌ام و با منافقین داخل نخواهم شد.

I have not sat with the council of emptiness, and I will not enter with those who carry out injustice.

۵ 5 ازجماعت بدکاران نفرت می‌دارم و با طالحین نخواهم نشست.

I have hated the assembly of the malicious; and I will not sit with the impious.

۶ 6 دستهای خود را در صفامی شویم. مذبح تو را‌ای خداوند طواف خواهم نمود.

I will wash my hands among the innocent, and I will surround your altar, O Lord,

۷ 7 تا آواز حمد تو را بشنوانم و عجایب تو رااخبار نمایم.

so that I may hear the voice of your praise and describe all your wonders.

۸ 8 ‌ای خداوند محل خانه تو را دوست می‌دارم و مقام سکونت جلال تو را.

O Lord, I have loved the beauty of your house and the dwelling place of your glory.

۹ 9 جانم را با گناهکاران جمع مکن و نه حیات مرا با مردمان خون ریز.

O God, do not let my soul perish with the impious, nor my life with the men of blood,

۱۰ 10 که در دستهای ایشان آزار است و دست راست ایشان پر از رشوه است.

in whose hands are iniquities: their right hand has been filled by bribes.

۱۱ 11 و اما من درکمال خود سالک می‌باشم. مرا خلاصی ده و برمن رحم فرما.

But as for me, I have been walking in my innocence. Redeem me, and have mercy on me.

۱۲ 12 پایم در جای هموار ایستاده است. خداوند را در جماعت‌ها متبارک خواهم خواند.

My foot has stood firm in the straight path. In the churches, I will bless you, O Lord.
