| برای سالار مغنیان. مزمور داودای خدای تسبیح من، خاموش مباش! | ۱ 1 |
Unto the end, a psalm for David.
| زیرا که دهان شرارت ودهان فریب را بر من گشوده‌اند، و به زبان دروغ برمن سخن گفته‌اند. | ۲ 2 |
O God, be not thou silent in thy praise: for the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful man is opened against me.
| به سخنان کینه مرا احاطه کرده‌اند و بی‌سبب با من جنگ نموده‌اند. | ۳ 3 |
They have spoken against with deceitful tongues; and they have compassed me about with words of hatred; and have fought against me without cause.
| به عوض محبت من، با من مخالفت می‌کنند، و اما من دعا. | ۴ 4 |
Instead of making me a return of love, they detracted me: but I gave myself to prayer.
| و به عوض نیکویی به من بدی کرده‌اند. و به عوض محبت، عداوت نموده. | ۵ 5 |
And they repaid me evil for good: and hatred for my love.
| مردی شریر را براو بگمار، و دشمن به‌دست راست او بایستد. | ۶ 6 |
Set thou the sinner over him: and may the devil stand at his right hand.
| هنگامی که در محاکمه بیاید، خطا کار بیرون آیدو دعای او گناه بشود. | ۷ 7 |
When he is judged, may he go out condemned; and may his prayer be turned to sin.
| ایام عمرش کم شود ومنصب او را دیگری ضبط نماید. | ۸ 8 |
May his days be few: and his bishopric let another take.
| فرزندان اویتیم بشوند و زوجه وی بیوه گردد. | ۹ 9 |
May his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
| و فرزندان او آواره شده، گدایی بکنند و از خرابه های خودقوت را بجویند. | ۱۰ 10 |
Let his children be carried about vagabonds, and beg; and let them be cast out of their dwellings.
| طلبکار تمامی مایملک او را ضبط نماید و اجنبیان محنت او را تاراج کنند. | ۱۱ 11 |
May the userer search all his substance: and let strangers plunder his labours.
| کسی نباشد که بر او رحمت کند و بر یتیمان وی احدی رافت ننماید. | ۱۲ 12 |
May there be none to help him: nor none to pity his fatherless offspring.
| ذریت وی منقطع گردند و در طبقه بعد نام ایشان محو شود. | ۱۳ 13 |
May his posterity be cut off; in one generation may his name be blotted out.
| عصیان پدرانش نزد خداوند به یاد آورده شودو گناه مادرش محو نگردد. | ۱۴ 14 |
May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered in the sight of the Lord: and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
| و آنها در مد نظرخداوند دائم بماند تا یادگاری ایشان را از زمین ببرد. | ۱۵ 15 |
May they be before the lord continually, and let the memory of them perish from the earth:
| زیرا که رحمت نمودن را به یاد نیاورد، بلکه بر فقیر و مسکین جفا کرد و بر شکسته دل تااو را به قتل رساند. | ۱۶ 16 |
Because he remembered not to show mercy,
| چون که لعنت را دوست می‌داشت بدو رسیده و چون که برکت رانمی خواست، از او دور شده است. | ۱۷ 17 |
But persecuted the poor man and the beggar; and the broken in heart, to put him to death.
| و لعنت رامثل ردای خود در بر‌گرفت و مثل آب به شکمش درآمد و مثل روغن در استخوانهای وی. | ۱۸ 18 |
And he loved cursing, and it shall come unto him: and he would not have blessing, and it shall be far from him. And he put on cursing, like a garment: and it went in like water into his entrails, and like oil in his bones.
| پس مثل جامه‌ای که او را می‌پوشاند، و چون کمربندی که به آن همیشه بسته می‌شود، خواهدبود. | ۱۹ 19 |
May it be unto him like a garment which covereth him; and like a girdle with which he is girded continually.
| این است اجرت مخالفانم از جانب خداوند و برای آنانی که بر جان من بدی می‌گویند. | ۲۰ 20 |
This is the work of them who detract me before the Lord; and who speak evils against my soul.
| اما تو‌ای یهوه خداوند به‌خاطر نام خود بامن عمل نما؛ چون که رحمت تو نیکوست، مراخلاصی ده. | ۲۱ 21 |
But thou, O Lord, do with for thy names sake: because thy mercy is sweet. Do thou deliver me.
| زیرا که من فقیر و مسکین هستم ودل من در اندرونم مجروح است. | ۲۲ 22 |
For I am poor and needy, and my heart is troubled within me.
| مثل سایه‌ای که در زوال باشد رفته‌ام و مثل ملخ رانده شده‌ام. | ۲۳ 23 |
I am taken away like the shadow when it declineth: and I am shaken off as locusts.
| زانوهایم از روزه داشتن می‌لرزد و گوشتم ازفربهی کاهیده می‌شود. | ۲۴ 24 |
My knees are weakened through fasting: and my flesh is changed for oil.
| و من نزد ایشان عارگردیده‌ام. چون مرا می‌بینند سر خود رامی جنبانند. | ۲۵ 25 |
And I am become a reproach to them: they saw me and they shaked their heads,
| ای یهوه خدای من مرا اعانت فرما، و به حسب رحمت خود مرا نجات ده، | ۲۶ 26 |
Help me, O Lord my God; save me according to thy mercy.
| تا بدانند که این است دست تو، و تو‌ای خداوند این را کرده‌ای. | ۲۷ 27 |
And let them know that this is thy hand: and that thou, O Lord, hast done it.
| ایشان لعنت بکنند، اما تو برکت بده. ایشان برخیزند و خجل گردند و اما بنده توشادمان شود. | ۲۸ 28 |
They will curse and thou will bless: let them that rise up against me be confounded: but thy servant shall rejoice.
| جفا کنندگانم به رسوایی ملبس شوند و خجالت خویش را مثل ردا بپوشند. | ۲۹ 29 |
Let them that detract me be clothed with shame: and let them be covered with the their confusion as with a double cloak.
| خداوند را به زبان خود بسیار تشکر خواهم کرد و او را در جماعت کثیر حمد خواهم گفت. | ۳۰ 30 |
I will give great thanks to the Lord with my mouth: and in the midst of many I will praise him.
| زیرا که به‌دست راست مسکین خواهد ایستادتا او را از آنانی که بر جان او فتوا می‌دهندبرهاند. | ۳۱ 31 |
Because he hath stood at the right hand of the poor, to save my soul from persecutors.
