امثال 13

۱ 1 پسر حکیم تادیب پدر خود را اطاعت می کند، اما استهزاکننده تهدید رانمی شنود.

A son wise [the] discipline of a father and a mocker not he listens to a rebuke.

۲ 2 مرد از میوه دهانش نیکویی را می‌خورد، اماجان خیانتکاران، ظلم را خواهد خورد.

From [the] fruit of [the] mouth of a person he eats good thing[s] and [the] appetite of treacherous [people] [is] violence.

۳ 3 هر‌که دهان خود را نگاه دارد جان خویش رامحافظت نماید، اما کسی‌که لبهای خود رابگشاید هلاک خواهد شد.

[one who] guards Mouth his [is] protecting life his [one who] opens lips his ruin [belongs] to him.

۴ 4 شخص کاهل آرزو می‌کند و چیزی پیدانمی کند. اما شخص زرنگ فربه خواهد شد.

[is] coveting And nothing appetite his a sluggard and [the] appetite of diligent [people] it will be made fat.

۵ 5 مرد عادل از دروغ گفتن نفرت دارد، اما شریررسوا و خجل خواهد شد.

A word of falsehood he hates a righteous [person] and a wicked [person] he acts odiously and he may act shamefully.

۶ 6 عدالت کسی را که در طریق خود کامل است محافظت می‌کند، اما شرارت، گناهکاران را هلاک می‌سازد.

Righteousness it preserves integrity of way and wickedness it subverts sin.

۷ 7 هستند که خود را دولتمند می‌شمارند وهیچ ندارند، و هستند که خویشتن را فقیرمی انگارند و دولت بسیار دارند.

There [is one who] enriches himself and there not [is] anything [one who] impoverishes himself and wealth great.

۸ 8 دولت شخص فدیه جان او خواهد بود، امافقیر تهدید را نخواهد شنید.

[the] ransom of [the] life of A person [is] wealth his and a poor [person] not he hears a threat.

۹ 9 نور عادلان شادمان خواهد شد، اما چراغ شریران خاموش خواهد گردید.

[the] light of Righteous [people] it rejoices and [the] lamp of wicked [people] it is extinguished.

۱۰ 10 از تکبر جز نزاع چیزی پیدا نمی شود، اما باآنانی که پند می‌پذیرند حکمت است.

Only with pride it gives contention and [is] with [those who] receive advice wisdom.

۱۱ 11 دولتی که از بطالت پیدا شود در تناقص می‌باشد، اما هر‌که به‌دست خود اندوزد در تزایدخواهد بود.

Wealth from vanity it will become small and [one who] gathers on hand he will increase.

۱۲ 12 امیدی که در آن تعویق باشد باعث بیماری دل است، اما حصول مراد درخت حیات می‌باشد.

Hope deferred [is] making sick [the] heart and [is] a tree of life a desire [which] comes.

۱۳ 13 هر‌که کلام را خوار شمارد خویشتن راهلاک می‌سازد، اما هر‌که از حکم می‌ترسد ثواب خواهد یافت.

[one who] despises A word he will be pledged to it and [one] fearing a commandment he he will be rewarded.

۱۴ 14 تعلیم مرد حکیم چشمه حیات‌است، تا ازدامهای مرگ رهایی دهد.

[the] instruction of A wise [person] [is] a fountain of life to turn aside from [the] snares of death.

۱۵ 15 عقل نیکو نعمت را می‌بخشد، اما راه خیانتکاران، سخت است.

Insight good it gives favor and [the] way of treacherous [people] [is] enduring.

۱۶ 16 هر شخص زیرک با علم عمل می‌کند. امااحمق حماقت را منتشر می‌سازد.

Every sensible [person] he acts with knowledge and a fool he spreads out foolishness.

۱۷ 17 قاصد شریر در بلا گرفتار می‌شود، امارسول امین شفا می‌بخشد.

A messenger wicked he falls in trouble and an envoy of faithfulness [is] healing.

۱۸ 18 فقر و اهانت برای کسی است که تادیب راترک نماید، اما هر‌که تنبیه را قبول کند محترم خواهد شد.

Poverty and shame [one who] ignores discipline and [one who] keeps correction he is honored.

۱۹ 19 آرزویی که حاصل شود برای جان شیرین است، اما اجتناب از بدی، مکروه احمقان می‌باشد.

A desire done (is pleasing *LAH(b)*) to a person and [is] an abomination of fools to turn aside from evil.

۲۰ 20 با حکیمان رفتار کن و حکیم خواهی شد، اما رفیق جاهلان ضرر خواهد یافت.

([one who] walks *Q(K)*) With wise [people] (he will become wise *Q(K)*) and [one who] associates with fools he will be harmed.

۲۱ 21 بلا گناهکاران را تعاقب می‌کند، اما عادلان، جزای نیکو خواهند یافت.

Sinners it pursues calamity and righteous [people] it rewards good.

۲۲ 22 مرد صالح پسران پسران را ارث خواهدداد، و دولت گناهکاران برای عادلان ذخیره خواهد شد.

A good [person] he leaves an inheritance to children of children and [is] stored up for the righteous [the] wealth of a sinner.

۲۳ 23 در مزرعه فقیران خوراک بسیار است، اماهستند که از بی‌انصافی هلاک می‌شوند.

Abundance of food [the] unplowed ground of poor [people] and there [is what] is swept away in not justice.

۲۴ 24 کسی‌که چوب را باز‌دارد، از پسر خویش نفرت می‌کند، اما کسی‌که او را دوست می‌دارد اورا به سعی تمام تادیب می‌نماید.

[one who] restrains Rod his [is] hating son his and [one who] loves him he seeks early him discipline.

۲۵ 25 مرد عادل برای سیری جان خود می‌خورد، اما شکم شریران محتاج خواهد بود.

A righteous [person] [is] eating to [the] satiety of appetite his and [the] belly of wicked [people] it is lacking.
