فلیمون 1

۱ 1 پولس، اسیر مسیح عیسی و تیموتاوس برادر، به فلیمون عزیز و همکار ما

Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy the brother, to Philemon our beloved friend and fellow-laborer,

۲ 2 و به اپفیه محبوبه و ارخپس همسپاه ما به کلیسایی که در خانه ات می‌باشد.

and to the beloved Apphia, and to Archippus our fellow-soldier, and to the church in thy house:

۳ 3 فیض و سلامتی از جانب پدر ما خدا وعیسی مسیح خداوند با شما باد.

Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

۴ 4 خدای خود را شکر می‌کنم و پیوسته تو رادر دعاهای خود یاد می‌آورم

I thank my God at all times, making mention of thee in my prayers,

۵ 5 چونکه ذکرمحبت و ایمان تو را شنیده‌ام که به عیسی خداوندو به همه مقدسین داری،

hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints;

۶ 6 تا شراکت ایمانت موثرشود در معرفت کامل هر نیکویی که در ما است برای مسیح عیسی.

that the fellowship of thy faith may become effectual in the knowledge of every good thing which is in us, for Christ Jesus.

۷ 7 زیرا که مرا خوشی کامل وتسلی رخ نمود از محبت تو از آنرو که دلهای مقدسین از تو‌ای برادر استراحت می‌پذیرند.

For we have great thankfulness and comfort on account of thy love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed by thee, brother.

۸ 8 بدین جهت هرچند در مسیح کمال جسارت را دارم که به آنچه مناسب است تو را حکم دهم،

Wherefore, though I have much boldness in Christ to enjoin upon thee that which is befitting,

۹ 9 لیکن برای محبت، سزاوارتر آن است که التماس نمایم، هرچند مردی چون پولس پیر والان اسیر مسیح عیسی نیز می‌باشم.

yet for love's sake I beseech thee rather; being such a one as Paul an old man, and now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus,

۱۰ 10 پس تو را التماس می‌کنم درباره فرزند خود انیسیمس که در زنجیرهای خود او را تولید نمودم،

I beseech thee for my child, whom I begot in my bonds, Onesimus;

۱۱ 11 که سابق او برای تو بی‌فایده بود، لیکن الحال تو را و مرافایده مند می‌باشد؛

who in time past was unprofitable to thee, but is now profitable to thee and to me;

۱۲ 12 که او را نزد تو پس می‌فرستم. پس تو او را بپذیر که جان من است.

whom I have sent back; and do thou [[receive]] him, that is, my own flesh.

۱۳ 13 و من می‌خواستم که او را نزد خود نگاه دارم تابه عوض تو مرا در زنجیرهای انجیل خدمت کند،

Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might minister to me in the bonds of the gospel;

۱۴ 14 اما نخواستم کاری بدون رای تو کرده باشم تااحسان تو از راه اضطرار نباشد، بلکه از روی اختیار.

but I chose to do nothing without thy consent, that thy benefit may be not as from necessity, but willingly.

۱۵ 15 زیرا که شاید بدین جهت ساعتی از توجدا شد تا او را تا به ابد دریابی. (aiōnios g166)

For perhaps he was separated from thee for a season to this end, that thou shouldst receive him back as thine for ever; (aiōnios g166)

۱۶ 16 لیکن بعد از این نه چون غلام بلکه فوق از غلام یعنی برادر عزیزخصوص به من اما چند مرتبه زیادتر به تو هم درجسم و هم در خداوند.

no longer as a bond-servant, but above a bond-servant, a brother beloved, especially to me, but how much more to thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord!

۱۷ 17 پس هرگاه مرا رفیق می‌دانی، او را چون من قبول فرما.

If thou then regardest me as a partner, receive him as myself.

۱۸ 18 اما اگرضرری به تو رسانیده باشد یا طلبی از او داشته باشی، آن را بر من محسوب دار.

And if he wronged thee in anything, or oweth thee, put that to my account.

۱۹ 19 من که پولس هستم، به‌دست خود می‌نویسم، خود ادا خواهم کرد، تا به تو نگویم که به‌جان خود نیز مدیون من هستی.

I Paul have written it with my own hand, I will repay it; not to say to thee, that to me thou owest even thy own self besides.

۲۰ 20 بلی‌ای برادر، تا من از تو در خداوندبرخوردار شوم. پس جان مرا در مسیح تازگی بده.

Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord; refresh my heart in Christ.

۲۱ 21 چون بر اطاعت تو اعتماد دارم، به تومی نویسم از آن جهت که می‌دانم بیشتر از آنچه می‌گویم هم خواهی کرد.

Having confidence in thy obedience I have written to thee, knowing that thou wilt do even more than I say.

۲۲ 22 معهذا منزلی نیز برای من حاضر کن، زیراکه امیدوارم از دعاهای شما به شما بخشیده شوم.

And at the same time make ready a lodging for me; for I hope that through your prayers I shall be granted to you.

۲۳ 23 اپفراس که در مسیح عیسی همزندان من است و مرقس

Epaphras, my fellow-prisoner in Christ Jesus,

۲۴ 24 و ارسترخس و دیماس و لوقاهمکاران من تو را سلام می‌رسانند.

Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, Luke, my fellow-laborers, salute thee.

۲۵ 25 فیض خداوند عیسی مسیح با روح شما باد. آمین.
