The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
| ابراهیم اسحاق را آورد و اسحاق یعقوب را آورد و یعقوب یهودا و برادران او راآورد. | ۲ 2 |
Abraham became the father of Isaac. Isaac became the father of Jacob. Jacob became the father of Judah and his brothers.
| و یهودا، فارص و زارح را از تامار آورد وفارص، حصرون را آورد و حصرون، ارام را آورد. | ۳ 3 |
Judah became the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar. Perez became the father of Hezron. Hezron became the father of Ram.
| و ارام، عمیناداب را آورد و عمیناداب، نحشون را آورد و نحشون، شلمون را آورد. | ۴ 4 |
Ram became the father of Amminadab. Amminadab became the father of Nahshon. Nahshon became the father of Salmon.
| وشلمون، بوعز را از راحاب آورد و بوعز، عوبیدرا از راعوت آورد و عوبید، یسا را آورد. | ۵ 5 |
Salmon became the father of Boaz by Rahab. Boaz became the father of Obed by Ruth. Obed became the father of Jesse.
| ویسا داود پادشاه را آورد و داود پادشاه، سلیمان را از زن اوریا آورد. | ۶ 6 |
Jesse became the father of King David. David the king became the father of Solomon by her who had been Uriah’s wife.
| و سلیمان، رحبعام را آورد و رحبعام، ابیا را آورد و ابیا، آسا راآورد. | ۷ 7 |
Solomon became the father of Rehoboam. Rehoboam became the father of Abijah. Abijah became the father of Asa.
| و آسا، یهوشافاط را آورد و یهوشافاط، یورام را آورد و یورام، عزیا را آورد. | ۸ 8 |
Asa became the father of Jehoshaphat. Jehoshaphat became the father of Joram. Joram became the father of Uzziah.
| و عزیا، یوتام را آورد و یوتام، احاز را آورد و احاز، حزقیا را آورد. | ۹ 9 |
Uzziah became the father of Jotham. Jotham became the father of Ahaz. Ahaz became the father of Hezekiah.
| و حزقیا، منسی را آورد ومنسی، آمون را آورد و آمون، یوشیا را آورد. | ۱۰ 10 |
Hezekiah became the father of Manasseh. Manasseh became the father of Amon. Amon became the father of Josiah.
| ویوشیا، یکنیا و برادرانش را در زمان جلای بابل آورد. | ۱۱ 11 |
Josiah became the father of Jechoniah and his brothers at the time of the exile to Babylon.
| و بعد از جلای بابل، یکنیا، سالتیئل را آورد و سالتیئیل، زروبابل را آورد. | ۱۲ 12 |
After the exile to Babylon, Jechoniah became the father of Shealtiel. Shealtiel became the father of Zerubbabel.
| زروبابل، ابیهود را آورد و ابیهود، ایلیقایم را آورد و ایلیقایم، عازور را آورد. | ۱۳ 13 |
Zerubbabel became the father of Abiud. Abiud became the father of Eliakim. Eliakim became the father of Azor.
| و عازور، صادوق را آورد و صادوق، یاکین را آورد و یاکین، ایلیهود را آورد. | ۱۴ 14 |
Azor became the father of Zadok. Zadok became the father of Achim. Achim became the father of Eliud.
| و ایلیهود، ایلعازر را آوردو ایلعازر، متان را آورد و متان، یعقوب راآورد. | ۱۵ 15 |
Eliud became the father of Eleazar. Eleazar became the father of Matthan. Matthan became the father of Jacob.
| و یعقوب، یوسف شوهر مریم راآورد که عیسی مسمی به مسیح از او متولدشد. | ۱۶ 16 |
Jacob became the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, from whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
| پس تمام طبقات، از ابراهیم تا داودچهارده طبقه است، و از داود تا جلای بابل چهارده طبقه، و از جلای بابل تا مسیح چهارده طبقه. | ۱۷ 17 |
So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; from David to the exile to Babylon fourteen generations; and from the carrying away to Babylon to the Christ, fourteen generations.
| اما ولادت عیسی مسیح چنین بود که چون مادرش مریم به یوسف نامزد شده بود، قبل ازآنکه با هم آیند، او را از روح‌القدس حامله یافتند. | ۱۸ 18 |
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
| و شوهرش یوسف چونکه مرد صالح بود ونخواست او را عبرت نماید، پس اراده نمود او رابه پنهانی رها کند. | ۱۹ 19 |
Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly.
| اما چون او در این چیزهاتفکر می‌کرد، ناگاه فرشته خداوند در خواب بروی ظاهر شده، گفت: «ای یوسف پسر داود، ازگرفتن زن خویش مریم مترس، زیرا که آنچه دروی قرار گرفته است، از روح‌القدس است، | ۲۰ 20 |
But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to yourself Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
| و اوپسری خواهد زایید و نام او را عیسی خواهی نهاد، زیرا که او امت خویش را از گناهانشان خواهد رهانید.» | ۲۱ 21 |
She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.”
| و این همه برای آن واقع شد تاکلامی که خداوند به زبان نبی گفته بود، تمام گردد | ۲۲ 22 |
Now all this has happened that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,
| «که اینک باکره آبستن شده پسری خواهدزایید و نام او را عمانوئیل خواهند خواند که تفسیرش این است: خدا با ما.» | ۲۳ 23 |
“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall give birth to a son. They shall call his name Immanuel,” which is, being interpreted, “God with us.”
| پس چون یوسف از خواب بیدار شد، چنانکه فرشته خداوند بدو امر کرده بود، بعمل آورد و زن خویش را گرفت | ۲۴ 24 |
Joseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took his wife to himself;
| و تا پسر نخستین خود رانزایید، او را نشناخت؛ و او را عیسی نام نهاد. | ۲۵ 25 |
and did not know her sexually until she had given birth to her firstborn son. He named him Jesus.
