| پس به کشتی سوار شده، عبور کرد و به شهر خویش آمد. | ۱ 1 |
He entered into a boat and crossed over, and came into his own city.
| ناگاه مفلوجی را بر بستر خوابانیده، نزد وی آوردند. چون عیسی ایمان ایشان را دید، مفلوج را گفت: «ای فرزند، خاطر جمع دار که گناهانت آمرزیده شد.» | ۲ 2 |
Behold, they brought to him a man who was paralyzed, lying on a bed. Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, “Son, cheer up! Your sins are forgiven you.”
| آنگاه بعضی از کاتبان با خود گفتند: «این شخص کفر می‌گوید.» | ۳ 3 |
Behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, “This man blasphemes.”
| عیسی خیالات ایشان رادرک نموده، گفت: «از بهر‌چه خیالات فاسد به‌خاطر خود راه می‌دهید؟ | ۴ 4 |
Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts?
| زیرا کدام سهل تراست، گفتن اینکه گناهان تو آمرزیده شد یا گفتن آنکه برخاسته بخرام؟ | ۵ 5 |
For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven;’ or to say, ‘Get up, and walk’?
| لیکن تا بدانید که پسرانسان را قدرت آمرزیدن گناهان بر روی زمین هست...» آنگاه مفلوج را گفت: «برخیز و بسترخود را برداشته، به خانه خود روانه شو!» | ۶ 6 |
But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins—” (then he said to the paralytic), “Get up, and take up your mat, and go to your house.”
| درحال برخاسته، به خانه خود رفت! | ۷ 7 |
He arose and departed to his house.
| و آن گروه چون این عمل را دیدند، متعجب شده، خدایی راکه این نوع قدرت به مردم عطا فرموده بود، تمجیدنمودند. | ۸ 8 |
But when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.
| چون عیسی از آنجا می‌گذشت، مردی رامسمی به متی به باج گاه نشسته دید. بدو گفت: «مرا متابعت کن.» در حال برخاسته، از عقب وی روانه شد. | ۹ 9 |
As Jesus passed by from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax collection office. He said to him, “Follow me.” He got up and followed him.
| و واقع شد چون او در خانه به غذا نشسته بود که جمعی از باجگیران وگناهکاران آمده، با عیسی و شاگردانش بنشستند. | ۱۰ 10 |
As he sat in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Jesus and his disciples.
| «و فریسیان چون دیدند، به شاگردان اوگفتند: «چرا استاد شما با باجگیران وگناهکاران غذا می‌خورد؟» | ۱۱ 11 |
When the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
| عیسی چون شنید، گفت: «نه تندرستان بلکه مریضان احتیاج به طبیب دارند. | ۱۲ 12 |
When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.
| لکن رفته، این را دریافت کنید که “رحمت می‌خواهم نه قربانی “، زیرا نیامده‌ام تاعادلان را بلکه گناهکاران را به توبه دعوت نمایم.» | ۱۳ 13 |
But you go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
| آنگاه شاگردان یحیی نزد وی آمده، گفتند: «چون است که ما و فریسیان روزه بسیارمی داریم، لکن شاگردان تو روزه نمی دارند؟» | ۱۴ 14 |
Then John’s disciples came to him, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast often, but your disciples do not fast?”
| عیسی بدیشان گفت: «آیا پسران خانه عروسی، مادامی که داماد با ایشان است، می‌توانند ماتم کنند؟ و لکن ایامی می‌آید که داماد از ایشان گرفته شود؛ در آن هنگام روزه خواهند داشت. | ۱۵ 15 |
Jesus said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast.
| وهیچ‌کس بر جامه کهنه پاره‌ای از پارچه نو وصله نمی کند زیرا که آن وصله از جامه جدا می‌گردد ودریدگی بدتر می‌شود. | ۱۶ 16 |
No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch would tear away from the garment, and a worse hole is made.
| و شراب نو را درمشکهای کهنه نمی ریزند والا مشکها دریده شده، شراب ریخته و مشکها تباه گردد. بلکه شراب نو را در مشکهای نو می‌ریزند تا هر دومحفوظ باشد.» | ۱۷ 17 |
Neither do people put new wine into old wine skins, or else the skins would burst, and the wine be spilled, and the skins ruined. No, they put new wine into fresh wine skins, and both are preserved.”
| او هنوز این سخنان را بدیشان می‌گفت که ناگاه رئیسی آمد و او را پرستش نموده، گفت: «اکنون دختر من مرده است. لکن بیا و دست خودرا بر وی گذار که زیست خواهد کرد.» | ۱۸ 18 |
While he told these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.”
| پس عیسی به اتفاق شاگردان خود برخاسته، از عقب او روان شد. | ۱۹ 19 |
Jesus got up and followed him, as did his disciples.
| و اینک زنی که مدت دوازده سال به مرض استحاضه مبتلا می‌بود، از عقب او آمده، دامن ردای او را لمس نمود، | ۲۰ 20 |
Behold, a woman who had a discharge of blood for twelve years came behind him, and touched the fringe of his garment;
| زیرا با خود گفته بود: «اگر محض ردایش را لمس کنم، هرآینه شفایابم.» | ۲۱ 21 |
for she said within herself, “If I just touch his garment, I will be made well.”
| عیسی برگشته، نظر بر وی انداخته، گفت: «ای دختر، خاطرجمع باش زیرا که ایمانت تو را شفا داده است!» در ساعت آن زن رستگارگردید. | ۲۲ 22 |
But Jesus, turning around and seeing her, said, “Daughter, cheer up! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.
| و چون عیسی به خانه رئیس در‌آمد، نوحه‌گران و گروهی از شورش کنندگان را دیده، | ۲۳ 23 |
When Jesus came into the ruler’s house and saw the flute players and the crowd in noisy disorder,
| بدیشان گفت: «راه دهید، زیرا دختر نمرده بلکه در خواب است.» ایشان بر وی سخریه کردند. | ۲۴ 24 |
he said to them, “Make room, because the girl is not dead, but sleeping.” They were ridiculing him.
| اما چون آن گروه بیرون شدند، داخل شده، دست آن دختر را گرفت که در ساعت برخاست. | ۲۵ 25 |
But when the crowd was sent out, he entered in, took her by the hand, and the girl arose.
| و این کار در تمام آن مرز وبوم شهرت یافت. | ۲۶ 26 |
The report of this went out into all that land.
| و چون عیسی از آن مکان می‌رفت، دو کورفریاد‌کنان در عقب او افتاده، گفتند: «پسر داودا، بر ما ترحم کن!» | ۲۷ 27 |
As Jesus passed by from there, two blind men followed him, calling out and saying, “Have mercy on us, son of David!”
| و چون به خانه در‌آمد، آن دوکور نزد او آمدند. عیسی بدیشان گفت: «آیا ایمان دارید که این کار را می‌توانم کرد؟» گفتندش: «بلی خداوندا.» | ۲۸ 28 |
When he had come into the house, the blind men came to him. Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They told him, “Yes, Lord.”
| در ساعت چشمان ایشان را لمس کرده، گفت: «بر وفق ایمانتان به شما بشود.» | ۲۹ 29 |
Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.”
| درحال چشمانشان باز شد و عیسی ایشان را به تاکیدفرمود که «زنهار کسی اطلاع نیابد.» | ۳۰ 30 |
Then their eyes were opened. Jesus strictly commanded them, saying, “See that no one knows about this.”
| اما ایشان بیرون رفته، او را در تمام آن نواحی شهرت دادند. | ۳۱ 31 |
But they went out and spread abroad his fame in all that land.
| و هنگامی که ایشان بیرون می‌رفتند، ناگاه دیوانه‌ای گنگ را نزد او آوردند. | ۳۲ 32 |
As they went out, behold, a mute man who was demon possessed was brought to him.
| و چون دیوبیرون شد، گنگ، گویا گردید و همه در تعجب شده، گفتند: «در اسرائیل چنین امر هرگز دیده نشده بود.» | ۳۳ 33 |
When the demon was cast out, the mute man spoke. The multitudes marveled, saying, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel!”
| لیکن فریسیان گفتند: «به واسطه رئیس دیوها، دیوها را بیرون می‌کند.» | ۳۴ 34 |
But the Pharisees said, “By the prince of the demons, he casts out demons.”
| و عیسی در همه شهرها و دهات گشته، در کنایس ایشان تعلیم داده، به بشارت ملکوت موعظه می‌نمود و هر مرض و رنج مردم را شفامی داد. | ۳۵ 35 |
Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
| و چون جمع کثیر دید، دلش بر ایشان بسوخت زیرا که مانند گوسفندان بی‌شبان، پریشان حال و پراکنده بودند. | ۳۶ 36 |
But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them because they were harassed and scattered, like sheep without a shepherd.
| آنگاه به شاگردان خود گفت: «حصاد فراوان است لیکن عمله کم. پس از صاحب حصاد استدعا نمایید تاعمله در حصاد خود بفرستد.» | ۳۷ 37 |
Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few.
| ۳۸ 38 |
Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest.”
