متّی 8
| و چون او از کوه به زیر آمد، گروهی بسیاراز عقب او روانه شدند. | ۱ 1 |
And when he came down from the mountain, large crowds followed him.
| که ناگاه ابرصی آمد و او را پرستش نموده، گفت: «ای خداوند اگربخواهی، می‌توانی مرا طاهر سازی.» | ۲ 2 |
And look, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, "Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean."
| عیسی دست آورده، او را لمس نمود و گفت: «می‌خواهم؛ طاهر شو!» که فور برص او طاهرگشت. | ۳ 3 |
And he stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, "I am willing. Be cleansed." And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
| عیسی بدو گفت: «زنهار کسی را اطلاع ندهی بلکه رفته، خود را به کاهن بنما و آن هدیه‌ای را که موسی فرمود، بگذران تا بجهت ایشان شهادتی باشد.» | ۴ 4 |
And Jesus said to him, "See that you tell nobody, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."
| و چون عیسی وارد کفرناحوم شد، یوزباشی‌ای نزد وی آمد و بدو التماس نموده، | ۵ 5 |
And when he came into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him,
| گفت: «ای خداوند، خادم من مفلوج در خانه خوابیده و بشدت متالم است.» | ۶ 6 |
and saying, "Lord, my servant lies in the house paralyzed, grievously tormented."
| عیسی بدو گفت: «من آمده، او را شفا خواهم داد.» | ۷ 7 |
And he said to him, "I will come and heal him."
| یوزباشی در جواب گفت: «خداوندا، لایق آن نی‌ام که زیرسقف من آیی. بلکه فقط سخنی بگو و خادم من صحت خواهد یافت. | ۸ 8 |
And the centurion answered, "Lord, I'm not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
| زیرا که من نیز مردی زیرحکم هستم و سپاهیان را زیر دست خود دارم؛ چون به یکی گویم برو، می‌رود و به دیگری بیا، می‌آید و به غلام خود فلان کار را بکن، می‌کند.» | ۹ 9 |
For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and tell another, 'Come,' and he comes; and tell my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
| عیسی چون این سخن را شنید، متعجب شده، به همراهان خود گفت: «هرآینه به شما می‌گویم که چنین ایمانی در اسرائیل هم نیافته‌ام. | ۱۰ 10 |
And when Jesus heard it, he was amazed, and said to those who followed, "Truly I tell you, I have not found so great a faith with anyone in Israel.
| و به شما می‌گویم که بسا از مشرق و مغرب آمده، درملکوت آسمان با ابراهیم و اسحاق و یعقوب خواهند نشست؛ | ۱۱ 11 |
And I tell you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven,
| اما پسران ملکوت بیرون افکنده خواهند شد، در ظلمت خارجی جایی که گریه و فشار دندان باشد. | ۱۲ 12 |
but the children of the Kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and grinding of teeth."
| پس عیسی به یوزباشی گفت: «برو، بر وفق ایمانت تو را عطاشود، » که در ساعت خادم او صحت یافت. | ۱۳ 13 |
And Jesus said to the centurion, "Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed." And the servant was healed in that hour.
| و چون عیسی به خانه پطرس آمد، مادر‌زن او را دید که تب کرده، خوابیده است. | ۱۴ 14 |
And when Jesus came into Peter's house, he saw his mother-in-law lying sick with a fever.
| پس دست او را لمس کرد و تب او را رها کرد. پس برخاسته، به خدمت گذاری ایشان مشغول گشت. | ۱۵ 15 |
So he touched her hand, and the fever left her. She got up and served him.
| اما چون شام شد، بسیاری از دیوانگان را به نزداو آوردند و محض سخنی ارواح را بیرون کرد وهمه مریضان را شفا بخشید. | ۱۶ 16 |
And when evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick;
| تا سخنی که به زبان اشعیای نبی گفته شده بود تمام گردد که «او ضعف های ما را گرفت و مرض های ما رابرداشت.» | ۱۷ 17 |
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, "He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases."
| چون عیسی جمعی کثیر دور خود دید، فرمان داد تا به کناره دیگر روند. | ۱۸ 18 |
Now when Jesus saw large crowds around him, he gave the order to depart to the other side.
| آنگاه کاتبی پیش آمده، بدو گفت: «استادا هرجا روی، تو رامتابعت کنم.» | ۱۹ 19 |
Then a scribe came, and said to him, "Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go."
| عیسی بدو گفت: «روباهان راسوراخها و مرغان هوا را آشیانه‌ها است. لیکن پسر انسان را جای سر نهادن نیست.» | ۲۰ 20 |
And Jesus said to him, "The foxes have holes, and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head."
| و دیگری از شاگردانش بدو گفت: «خداوندا اول مرارخصت ده تا رفته، پدر خود را دفن کنم.» | ۲۱ 21 |
And another of the disciples said to him, "Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father."
| عیسی وی را گفت: «مرا متابعت کن و بگذار که مردگان، مردگان خود را دفن کنند.» | ۲۲ 22 |
But Jesus said to him, "Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead."
| چون به کشتی سوار شد، شاگردانش ازعقب او آمدند. | ۲۳ 23 |
And when he got into a boat, his disciples followed him.
| ناگاه اضطراب عظیمی در دریاپدید آمد، بحدی که امواج، کشتی را فرومی گرفت؛ و او در خواب بود. | ۲۴ 24 |
And look, a violent storm came up on the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves, but he was asleep.
| پس شاگردان پیش آمده، او را بیدار کرده، گفتند: «خداوندا، مارا دریاب که هلاک می‌شویم!» | ۲۵ 25 |
They came to him, and woke him up, saying, "Save us, Lord. We are dying."
| بدیشان گفت: «ای کم‌ایمانان، چرا ترسان هستید؟» آنگاه برخاسته، بادها و دریا را نهیب کرد که آرامی کامل پدید آمد. | ۲۶ 26 |
And he said to them, "Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?" Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.
| اما آن اشخاص تعجب نموده، گفتند: «این چگونه مردی است که بادها و دریا نیزاو را اطاعت می‌کنند!» | ۲۷ 27 |
And the men were amazed, saying, "What kind of person is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"
| و چون به آن کناره در زمین جرجسیان رسید، دو شخص دیوانه از قبرها بیرون شده، بدوبرخوردند و بحدی تندخوی بودند که هیچ‌کس از آن راه نتوانستی عبور کند. | ۲۸ 28 |
And when he came to the other side, into the country of the Gadarenes, two people possessed by demons met him there, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that nobody could pass that way.
| در ساعت فریادکرده، گفتند: «یا عیسی ابن‌الله، ما را با تو جه کار است؟ مگر در اینجا آمده‌ای تا ما را قبل از وقت عذاب کنی؟” | ۲۹ 29 |
And look, they shouted, saying, "What do we have to do with you, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?"
| و گلۀگراز بسیاری دور از ایشان می‌چرید. | ۳۰ 30 |
Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding far away from them.
| دیوها از وی استدعا نموده، گفتند: “هرگاه ما را بیرون کنی، در گلۀ گرازان ما را بفرست.” | ۳۱ 31 |
And the demons begged him, saying, "If you cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of pigs."
| ایشان را گفت: “بروید!” در حال بیرون شده، داخل گلۀ گرازان گردیدند که فی‌الفور همۀ آن گرازان از بلندی به دریا جسته، در آب هلاک شدند. | ۳۲ 32 |
And he said to them, "Go." And they came out, and went into the pigs, and look, the whole herd rushed down the cliff into the sea, and died in the water.
| اما شبانان گریخته، به شهر رفتند و تمام آن حادثه و ماجرای دیوانگان را شهرت دادند. | ۳۳ 33 |
And those who fed them fled, and went away into the city, and told everything, including what happened to those who were possessed with demons.
| واینک تمام شهر برای ملاقات عیسی بیرون آمد. چون او را دیدند، التماس نمودند که از حدودایشان بیرون رود. | ۳۴ 34 |
And look, all the city came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region.
