متّی 7
| «حکم مکنید تا بر شما حکم نشود. | ۱ 1 |
Judge not, that ye be not judged.
| زیرابدان طریقی که حکم کنید بر شما نیز حکم خواهد شد و بدان پیمانه‌ای که پیمایید برای شماخواهند پیمود. | ۲ 2 |
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and the measure which ye give, shall be measured to you again.
| و چون است که خس را درچشم برادر خود می‌بینی و چوبی را که چشم خود داری نمی یابی؟ | ۳ 3 |
And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thy own eye?
| یا چگونه به برادر خودمی گویی “اجازت ده تا خس را از چشمت بیرون کنم “و اینک چوب در چشم تو است؟ | ۴ 4 |
Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thy eye; and behold, a beam [is] in thy own eye?
| ای ریاکار، اول چوب را از چشم خود بیرون کن، آنگاه نیک خواهی دید تا خس را از چشم برادرت بیرون کنی! | ۵ 5 |
Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thy own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
| «آنچه مقدس است، به سگان مدهید و نه مرواریدهای خود را پیش گرازان اندازید، مباداآنها را پایمال کنند و برگشته، شما را بدرند. | ۶ 6 |
Give not that which [is] holy to dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
| «سوال کنید که به شما داده خواهد شد؛ بطلبید که خواهید یافت؛ بکوبید که برای شما بازکرده خواهد شد. | ۷ 7 |
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and the door shall be opened to you:
| زیرا هر‌که سوال کند، یابد وکسی‌که بطلبد دریافت کند و هر‌که بکوبد برای اوگشاده خواهد شد. | ۸ 8 |
For every one that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh, the door shall be opened.
| و کدام آدمی است از شما که پسرش نانی از او خواهد و سنگی بدو دهد؟ | ۹ 9 |
Or what man is there of you, who, if his son shall ask bread, will give him a stone?
| یااگر ماهی خواهد ماری بدو بخشد؟ | ۱۰ 10 |
Or if he shall ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
| پس هرگاه شما که شریر هستید، دادن بخشش های نیکو را به اولاد خود می‌دانید، چقدر زیاده پدر شما که درآسمان است چیزهای نیکو را به آنانی که از اوسوال می‌کنند خواهد بخشید! | ۱۱ 11 |
If ye then being evil know [how] to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
| لهذا آنچه خواهید که مردم به شما کنند، شما نیز بدیشان همچنان کنید، زیرا این است تورات و صحف انبیا. | ۱۲ 12 |
Therefore all things whatever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
| «از در تنگ داخل شوید. زیرا فراخ است آن در و وسیع است آن طریقی که مودی به هلاکت است و آنانی که بدان داخل می‌شوندبسیارند. | ۱۳ 13 |
Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in by it.
| زیرا تنگ است آن در و دشوار است آن طریقی که مودی به حیات‌است و یابندگان آن کمند. | ۱۴ 14 |
Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth to life, and few there are that find it.
| «اما از انبیای کذبه احتراز کنید، که به لباس میشها نزد شما می‌آیند ولی در باطن، گرگان درنده می‌باشند. | ۱۵ 15 |
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
| ایشان را از میوه های ایشان خواهید شناخت. آیا انگور را از خار و انجیر را ازخس می‌چینند؟ | ۱۶ 16 |
Ye shall know them by their fruits: Do men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles:
| همچنین هر درخت نیکو، میوه نیکو می‌آورد و درخت بد، میوه بد می‌آورد. | ۱۷ 17 |
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
| نمی تواند درخت خوب میوه بد آورد، و نه درخت بد میوه نیکو آورد. | ۱۸ 18 |
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
| هر درختی که میوه نیکو نیاورد، بریده و در آتش افکنده شود. | ۱۹ 19 |
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
| لهذا از میوه های ایشان، ایشان را خواهیدشناخت. | ۲۰ 20 |
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them,
| «نه هر‌که مرا “خداوند، خداوند” گویدداخل ملکوت آسمان گردد، بلکه آنکه اراده پدرمرا که در آسمان است به‌جا آورد. | ۲۱ 21 |
Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.
| بسا در آن روز مرا خواهند گفت: “خداوندا، خداوندا، آیا به نام تو نبوت ننمودیم و به اسم تو دیوها را اخراج نکردیم و به نام تو معجزات بسیار ظاهرنساختیم؟” | ۲۲ 22 |
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out demons? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
| آنگاه به ایشان صریح خواهم گفت که “هرگز شما را نشناختم! ای بدکاران از من دور شوید!” | ۲۳ 23 |
And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
| «پس هر‌که این سخنان مرا بشنود و آنها رابه‌جا آرد، او را به مردی دانا تشبیه می‌کنم که خانه خود را بر سنگ بنا کرد. | ۲۴ 24 |
Therefore whoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house upon a rock:
| و باران باریده، سیلابهاروان گردید و بادها وزیده، بدان خانه زورآور شدو خراب نگردید زیرا که بر سنگ بنا شده بود. | ۲۵ 25 |
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
| وهر‌که این سخنان مرا شنیده، به آنها عمل نکرد، به مردی نادان ماند که خانه خود را بر ریگ بنا نهاد. | ۲۶ 26 |
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand:
| و باران باریده، سیلابها جاری شد و بادهاوزیده، بدان خانه زور آورد و خراب گردید وخرابی آن عظیم بود.» | ۲۷ 27 |
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell, and great was the fall of it.
| و چون عیسی این سخنان را ختم کرد آن گروه از تعلیم او در حیرت افتادند، | ۲۸ 28 |
And it came to pass when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine.
| زیرا که ایشان را چون صاحب قدرت تعلیم می‌داد و نه مثل کاتبان. | ۲۹ 29 |
For he taught them as [one] having authority, and not as the scribes.
