متّی 22
| و عیسی توجه نموده، باز به مثلها ایشان را خطاب کرده، گفت: | ۱ 1 |
Jesus answered and spoke to them again in parables, saying,
| «ملکوت آسمان پادشاهی را ماند که برای پسر خویش عروسی کرد. | ۲ 2 |
“The Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who made a wedding feast for his son,
| و غلامان خود را فرستاد تا دعوت‌شدگان را به عروسی بخوانند و نخواستند بیایند. | ۳ 3 |
and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding feast, but they would not come.
| باز غلامان دیگر روانه نموده، فرمود: “دعوت‌شدگان را بگویید که اینک خوان خود را حاضر ساخته‌ام و گاوان و پرواریهای من کشته شده و همه‌چیز آماده است، به عروسی بیایید.” | ۴ 4 |
Again he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “Behold, I have prepared my dinner. My cattle and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding feast!”’
| ولی ایشان بی‌اعتنایی نموده، راه خود را گرفتند، یکی به مزرعه خود و دیگری به تجارت خویش رفت. | ۵ 5 |
But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise;
| و دیگران غلامان او را گرفته، دشنام داده، کشتند. | ۶ 6 |
and the rest grabbed his servants, treated them shamefully, and killed them.
| پادشاه چون شنید، غضب نموده، لشکریان خود را فرستاده، آن قاتلان را به قتل رسانید و شهر ایشان را بسوخت. | ۷ 7 |
When the king heard that, he was angry, and sent his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.
| آنگاه غلامان خود را فرمود: “عروسی حاضر است؛ لیکن دعوت‌شدگان لیاقت نداشتند. | ۸ 8 |
“Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.
| الان به شوارع عامه بروید و هرکه را بیابید به عروسی بطلبید.” | ۹ 9 |
Go therefore to the intersections of the highways, and as many as you may find, invite to the wedding feast.’
| پس آن غلامان به‌سر راهها رفته، نیک و بد هرکه را یافتند جمع کردند، چنانکه خانه عروسی ازمجلسیان مملو گشت. | ۱۰ 10 |
Those servants went out into the highways and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. The wedding was filled with guests.
| آنگاه پادشاه بجهت دیدن اهل مجلس داخل شده، شخصی را درآنجا دید که جامه عروسی در بر ندارد. | ۱۱ 11 |
“But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who did not have on wedding clothing,
| بدوگفت: “ای عزیز چطور در اینجا آمدی و حال آنکه جامه عروسی در بر نداری؟” او خاموش شد. | ۱۲ 12 |
and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here not wearing wedding clothing?’ He was speechless.
| آنگاه پادشاه خادمان خود را فرمود: “این شخص را دست و پا بسته بردارید و در ظلمت خارجی اندازید، جایی که گریه و فشار دندان باشد.” | ۱۳ 13 |
Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness. That is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.’
| زیرا طلبیدگان بسیارند و برگزیدگان کم.» | ۱۴ 14 |
For many are called, but few chosen.”
| پس فریسیان رفته، شورا نمودند که چطوراو را در گفتگو گرفتار سازند. | ۱۵ 15 |
Then the Pharisees went and took counsel how they might entrap him in his talk.
| و شاگردان خودرا با هیرودیان نزد وی فرستاده، گفتند: «استادامی دانیم که صادق هستی و طریق خدا را به راستی تعلیم می‌نمایی و از کسی باک نداری زیراکه به ظاهر خلق نمی نگری. | ۱۶ 16 |
They sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that you are honest, and teach the way of God in truth, no matter whom you teach; for you are not partial to anyone.
| پس به ما بگو رای تو چیست. آیا جزیه دادن به قیصر رواست یا نه؟» | ۱۷ 17 |
Tell us therefore, what do you think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”
| عیسی شرارت ایشان را درک کرده، گفت: «ای ریاکاران، چرا مرا تجربه می‌کنید؟ | ۱۸ 18 |
But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, “Why do you test me, you hypocrites?
| سکه جزیه را به من بنمایید.» ایشان دیناری نزد وی آوردند. | ۱۹ 19 |
Show me the tax money.” They brought to him a denarius.
| بدیشان گفت: «این صورت و رقم از آن کیست؟» | ۲۰ 20 |
He asked them, “Whose is this image and inscription?”
| بدو گفتند: «از آن قیصر.» بدیشان گفت: «مال قیصر را به قیصر ادا کنید و مال خدا رابه خدا!» | ۲۱ 21 |
They said to him, “Caesar’s.” Then he said to them, “Give therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
| چون ایشان شنیدند، متعجب شدندو او را واگذارده، برفتند. | ۲۲ 22 |
When they heard it, they marveled, and left him and went away.
| و در همان روز، صدوقیان که منکر قیامت هستند نزد او آمده، سوال نموده، | ۲۳ 23 |
On that day Sadducees (those who say that there is no resurrection) came to him. They asked him,
| گفتند: «ای استاد، موسی گفت اگر کسی بی‌اولاد بمیرد، می‌باید برادرش زن او را نکاح کند تا نسلی برای برادر خود پیدا نماید. | ۲۴ 24 |
saying, “Teacher, Moses said, ‘If a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.’
| باری در میان ما هفت برادر بودند که اول زنی گرفته، بمرد و چون اولادی نداشت زن را به برادر خود ترک کرد. | ۲۵ 25 |
Now there were with us seven brothers. The first married and died, and having no offspring left his wife to his brother.
| وهمچنین دومین و سومین تا هفتمین. | ۲۶ 26 |
In the same way, the second also, and the third, to the seventh.
| و آخر ازهمه آن زن نیز مرد. | ۲۷ 27 |
After them all, the woman died.
| پس او در قیامت، زن کدام‌یک از آن هفت خواهد بود زیرا که همه او راداشتند؟» | ۲۸ 28 |
In the resurrection therefore, whose wife will she be of the seven? For they all had her.”
| عیسی در جواب ایشان گفت: «گمراه هستید از این‌رو که کتاب و قوت خدا رادر نیافته‌اید، | ۲۹ 29 |
But Jesus answered them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.
| زیرا که در قیامت، نه نکاح می‌کنند و نه نکاح کرده می‌شوند بلکه مثل ملائکه خدا در آسمان می‌باشند. | ۳۰ 30 |
For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like God’s angels in heaven.
| اما درباره قیامت مردگان، آیا نخوانده‌اید کلامی را که خدا به شما گفته است، | ۳۱ 31 |
But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have not you read that which was spoken to you by God, saying,
| من هستم خدای ابراهیم و خدای اسحاق و خدای یعقوب؟ خدا، خدای مردگان نیست بلکه خدای زندگان است.» | ۳۲ 32 |
‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”
| و آن گروه چون شنیدند، از تعلیم وی متحیر شدند. | ۳۳ 33 |
When the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.
| اما چون فریسیان شنیدند که صدوقیان را مجاب نموده است، با هم جمع شدند. | ۳۴ 34 |
But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, gathered themselves together.
| و یکی از ایشان که فقیه بود، از وی به طریق امتحان سوال کرده، گفت: | ۳۵ 35 |
One of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, testing him.
| «ای استاد، کدام حکم در شریعت بزرگتر است؟» | ۳۶ 36 |
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?”
| عیسی وی را گفت: «اینکه خداوند خدای خود را به همه دل و تمامی نفس و تمامی فکر خود محبت نما. | ۳۷ 37 |
Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
| این است حکم اول و اعظم. | ۳۸ 38 |
This is the first and great commandment.
| و دوم مثل آن است یعنی همسایه خود را مثل خود محبت نما. | ۳۹ 39 |
A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
| بدین دو حکم، تمام تورات و صحف انبیامتعلق است.» | ۴۰ 40 |
The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.”
| و چون فریسیان جمع بودند، عیسی ازایشان پرسیده، | ۴۱ 41 |
Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question,
| گفت: «درباره مسیح چه گمان می‌برید؟ او پسر کیست؟» بدو گفتند: «پسر داود.» | ۴۲ 42 |
saying, “What do you think of the Christ? Whose son is he?” They said to him, “Of David.”
| ایشان را گفت: «پس چطور داود در روح، او راخداوند می‌خواند؟ چنانکه می‌گوید: | ۴۳ 43 |
He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying,
| “خداوندبه خداوند من گفت، به‌دست راست من بنشین تادشمانان تو را پای انداز تو سازم.” | ۴۴ 44 |
‘The Lord said to my Lord, sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet’?
| پس هرگاه داود او را خداوند می‌خواند، چگونه پسرش می‌باشد؟» | ۴۵ 45 |
“If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?”
| و هیچ‌کس قدرت جواب وی هرگز نداشت و نه کسی از آن روز دیگرجرات سوال کردن از او نمود. | ۴۶ 46 |
No one was able to answer him a word, neither did any man dare ask him any more questions from that day forward.
