متّی 19
| و چون عیسی این سخنان را به اتمام رسانید، از جلیل روانه شده، به حدودیهودیه از آن طرف اردن آمد. | ۱ 1 |
When Jesus had finished these words, he departed from Galilee and came into the borders of Judea beyond the Jordan.
| و گروهی بسیار ازعقب او آمدند و ایشان را در آنجا شفا بخشید. | ۲ 2 |
Great multitudes followed him, and he healed them there.
| پس فریسیان آمدند تا او را امتحان کنند وگفتند: «آیا جایز است مرد، زن خود را به هر علتی طلاق دهد؟» | ۳ 3 |
Pharisees came to him, testing him and saying, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”
| او در جواب ایشان گفت: «مگرنخوانده‌اید که خالق در ابتدا ایشان را مرد و زن آفرید، | ۴ 4 |
He answered, “Have not you read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female,
| و گفت از این جهت مرد، پدر و مادرخود را رها کرده، به زن خویش بپیوندد و هر دویک تن خواهند شد؟ | ۵ 5 |
and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh’?
| بنابراین بعد از آن دونیستند بلکه یک تن هستند. پس آنچه را خداپیوست انسان جدا نسازد.» | ۶ 6 |
So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, do not let man tear apart.”
| به وی گفتند: «پس از بهر‌چه موسی‌امر فرمود که زن را طلاقنامه دهند و جدا کنند؟» | ۷ 7 |
They asked him, “Why then did Moses command us to give her a certificate of divorce and divorce her?”
| ایشان را گفت: «موسی به‌سبب سنگدلی شما، شما را اجازت داد که زنان خود را طلاق دهید. لیکن از ابتدا چنین نبود. | ۸ 8 |
He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so.
| و به شما می‌گویم هرکه زن خود را بغیر علت زناطلاق دهد و دیگری را نکاح کند، زانی است و هرکه زن مطلقه‌ای را نکاح کند، زنا کند.» | ۹ 9 |
I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery.”
| شاگردانش بدو گفتند: «اگر حکم شوهر بازن چنین باشد، نکاح نکردن بهتر است!» | ۱۰ 10 |
His disciples said to him, “If this is the case of the man with his wife, it is not expedient to marry.”
| ایشان را گفت: «تمامی خلق این کلام را نمی پذیرند، مگر به کسانی که عطا شده است. | ۱۱ 11 |
But he said to them, “Not all men can receive this saying, but those to whom it is given.
| زیرا که خصی‌ها می‌باشند که از شکم مادر چنین متولدشدند و خصی‌ها هستند که از مردم خصی شده‌اند و خصی‌ها می‌باشند که بجهت ملکوت خدا خود را خصی نموده‌اند. آنکه توانایی قبول دارد بپذیرد.» | ۱۲ 12 |
For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven’s sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it.”
| آنگاه چند بچه کوچک را نزد او آوردند تادستهای خود را بر ایشان نهاده، دعا کند. اماشاگردان، ایشان را نهیب دادند. | ۱۳ 13 |
Then little children were brought to him that he should lay his hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them.
| عیسی گفت: «بچه های کوچک را بگذارید و از آمدن نزد من، ایشان را منع مکنید، زیرا ملکوت آسمان از مثل اینها است.» | ۱۴ 14 |
But Jesus said, “Allow the little children, and do not forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.”
| و دستهای خود را بر ایشان گذارده از آن جا روانه شد. | ۱۵ 15 |
He laid his hands on them, and departed from there.
| ناگاه شخصی آمده، وی را گفت: «ای استادنیکو، چه عمل نیکو کنم تا حیات جاودانی یابم؟» (aiōnios g166) | ۱۶ 16 |
Behold, one came to him and said, "Good teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have consummate (aiōnios g166) life?"
| وی را گفت: «از چه سبب مرا نیکو گفتی و حال آنکه کسی نیکو نیست، جز خدا فقط. لیکن اگربخواهی داخل حیات شوی، احکام را نگاه دار.» | ۱۷ 17 |
He said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
| بدو گفت: «کدام احکام؟» عیسی گفت: «قتل مکن، زنا مکن، دزدی مکن، شهادت دروغ مده، | ۱۸ 18 |
He said to him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder.’ ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ ‘You shall not steal.’ ‘You shall not offer false testimony.’
| و پدر و مادر خود را حرمت دار و همسایه خود را مثل نفس خود دوست دار.» | ۱۹ 19 |
‘Honor your father and your mother.’ And, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”
| جوان وی را گفت: «همه اینها را از طفولیت نگاه داشته‌ام. دیگر مرا چه ناقص است؟» | ۲۰ 20 |
The young man said to him, “All these things I have observed from my youth. What do I still lack?”
| عیسی بدو گفت: «اگر بخواهی کامل شوی، رفته مایملک خود رابفروش و به فقراء بده که در آسمان گنجی خواهی داشت؛ و آمده مرا متابعت نما.» | ۲۱ 21 |
Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
| چون جوان این سخن را شنید، دل تنگ شده، برفت زیرا که مال بسیار داشت. | ۲۲ 22 |
But when the young man heard this, he went away sad, for he was one who had great possessions.
| عیسی به شاگردان خود گفت: «هرآینه به شما می‌گویم که شخص دولتمند به ملکوت آسمان به دشواری داخل می‌شود. | ۲۳ 23 |
Jesus said to his disciples, “Most certainly I say to you, a rich man will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven with difficulty.
| و باز شمارا می‌گویم که گذشتن شتر از سوراخ سوزن، آسانتر است از دخول شخص دولتمند درملکوت خدا.» | ۲۴ 24 |
Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”
| شاگردان چون شنیدند، بغایت متحیر گشته، گفتند: «پس که می‌تواند نجات یابد؟» | ۲۵ 25 |
When the disciples heard it, they were exceedingly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”
| عیسی متوجه ایشان شده، گفت: «نزدانسان این محال است لیکن نزد خدا همه‌چیزممکن است.» | ۲۶ 26 |
Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
| آنگاه پطرس در جواب گفت: «اینک ما همه‌چیزها را ترک کرده، تو را متابعت می‌کنیم. پس ما را چه خواهد بود؟» | ۲۷ 27 |
Then Peter answered, “Behold, we have left everything and followed you. What then will we have?”
| «عیسی ایشان را گفت: «هرآینه به شما می‌گویم شما که مرا متابعت نموده‌اید، در معاد وقتی که پسر انسان بر کرسی جلال خود نشیند، شما نیز به دوازده کرسی نشسته، بر دوازده سبط اسرائیل داوری خواهید نمود. | ۲۸ 28 |
Jesus said to them, “Most certainly I tell you that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on the throne of his glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
| و هرکه بخاطر اسم من، خانه هایا برادران یا خواهران یا پدر یا مادر یا زن یافرزندان یا زمینها را ترک کرد، صد چندان خواهدیافت و وارث حیات جاودانی خواهد گشت. (aiōnios g166) | ۲۹ 29 |
Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit consummate (aiōnios g166) life.
| لیکن بسا اولین که آخرین می‌گردند و آخرین، اولین! | ۳۰ 30 |
But many will be last who are first, and first who are last.
