| و بعد از دو روز، عید فصح و فطیر بودکه روسای کهنه و کاتبان مترصد بودندکه به چه حیله او را دستگیر کرده، به قتل رسانند. | ۱ 1 |
It was now two days before the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might seize him by deception and kill him.
| لیکن می‌گفتند: «نه در عید مبادا در قوم اغتشاشی پدید آید.» | ۲ 2 |
For they said, “Not during the feast, because there might be a riot amongst the people.”
| و هنگامی که او در بیت عنیا در خانه شمعون ابرص به غذا نشسته بود، زنی با شیشه‌ای از عطرگرانبها از سنبل خالص آمده، شیشه را شکسته، برسر وی ریخت. | ۳ 3 |
While he was at Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster jar of ointment of pure nard—very costly. She broke the jar and poured it over his head.
| و بعضی در خود خشم نموده، گفتند: «چرا این عطر تلف شد؟ | ۴ 4 |
But there were some who were indignant amongst themselves, saying, “Why has this ointment been wasted?
| زیرا ممکن بوداین عطر زیادتر از سیصد دینار فروخته، به فقراداده شود.» و آن زن را سرزنش نمودند. | ۵ 5 |
For this might have been sold for more than three hundred denarii and given to the poor.” So they grumbled against her.
| اماعیسی گفت: «او را واگذارید! از برای چه او رازحمت می‌دهید؟ زیرا که با من کاری نیکو کرده است، | ۶ 6 |
But Yeshua said, “Leave her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work for me.
| زیرا که فقرا را همیشه با خود دارید وهرگاه بخواهید می‌توانید با ایشان احسان کنید، لیکن مرا با خود دائم ندارید. | ۷ 7 |
For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you want to, you can do them good; but you will not always have me.
| آنچه در قوه اوبود کرد، زیرا که جسد مرا بجهت دفن، پیش تدهین کرد. | ۸ 8 |
She has done what she could. She has anointed my body beforehand for the burying.
| هرآینه به شما می‌گویم در هر جایی از تمام عالم که به این انجیل موعظه شود، آنچه این زن کرد نیز بجهت یادگاری وی مذکور خواهد شد.» | ۹ 9 |
Most certainly I tell you, wherever this Good News may be preached throughout the whole world, that which this woman has done will also be spoken of for a memorial of her.”
| پس یهودای اسخریوطی که یکی از آن دوازده بود، به نزد روسای کهنه رفت تا او رابدیشان تسلیم کند. | ۱۰ 10 |
Judah Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went away to the chief priests, that he might deliver him to them.
| ایشان سخن او را شنیده، شاد شدند و بدو وعده دادند که نقدی بدو بدهند. و او در صدد فرصت موافق برای گرفتاری وی برآمد. | ۱۱ 11 |
They, when they heard it, were glad, and promised to give him money. He sought how he might conveniently deliver him.
| و روز اول از عید فطیر که در آن فصح راذبح می‌کردند، شاگردانش به وی گفتند: «کجامی خواهی برویم تدارک بینیم تا فصح رابخوری؟» | ۱۲ 12 |
On the first day of unleavened bread, when they sacrificed the Passover, his disciples asked him, “Where do you want us to go and prepare that you may eat the Passover?”
| پس دو نفر از شاگردان خود رافرستاده، بدیشان گفت: «به شهر بروید و شخصی با سبوی آب به شما خواهد برخورد. از عقب وی بروید، | ۱۳ 13 |
He sent two of his disciples and said to them, “Go into the city, and there a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him,
| و به هرجایی که درآید صاحب‌خانه راگویید: استاد می‌گوید مهمانخانه کجا است تافصح را با شاگردان خود آنجا صرف کنم؟ | ۱۴ 14 |
and wherever he enters in, tell the master of the house, ‘The Rabbi says, “Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’
| و اوبالاخانه بزرگ مفروش و آماده به شما نشان می‌دهد. آنجا از بهر ما تدارک بینید.» | ۱۵ 15 |
He will himself show you a large upper room furnished and ready. Get ready for us there.”
| شاگردانش روانه شدند و به شهر رفته، چنانکه او فرموده بود، یافتند و فصح را آماده ساختند. | ۱۶ 16 |
His disciples went out, and came into the city, and found things as he had said to them, and they prepared the Passover.
| شامگاهان با آن دوازده آمد. | ۱۷ 17 |
When it was evening he came with the twelve.
| و چون نشسته غذا می‌خوردند، عیسی گفت: «هرآینه به شما می‌گویم که، یکی از شما که با من غذامی خورد، مرا تسلیم خواهد کرد.» | ۱۸ 18 |
As they sat and were eating, Yeshua said, “Most certainly I tell you, one of you will betray me—he who eats with me.”
| ایشان غمگین گشته، یک یک گفتن گرفتند که آیا من آنم و دیگری که آیا من هستم. | ۱۹ 19 |
They began to be sorrowful, and to ask him one by one, “Surely not I?” And another said, “Surely not I?”
| او در جواب ایشان گفت: «یکی از دوازده که با من دست در قاب فروبرد! | ۲۰ 20 |
He answered them, “It is one of the twelve, he who dips with me in the dish.
| به درستی که پسر انسان بطوری که درباره او مکتوب است، رحلت می‌کند. لیکن وای بر آن کسی‌که پسر انسان به واسطه او تسلیم شود. او رابهتر می‌بود که تولد نیافتی.» | ۲۱ 21 |
For the Son of Man goes as it is written about him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would be better for that man if he had not been born.”
| و چون غذا می‌خوردند، عیسی نان راگرفته، برکت داد و پاره کرده، بدیشان داد و گفت: «بگیرید و بخورید که این جسد من است.» | ۲۲ 22 |
As they were eating, Yeshua took bread, and when he had blessed it, he broke it and gave to them, and said, “Take, eat. This is my body.”
| وپیاله‌ای گرفته، شکر نمود و به ایشان داد و همه ازآن آشامیدند | ۲۳ 23 |
He took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave to them. They all drank of it.
| و بدیشان گفت: «این است خون من از عهد جدید که در راه بسیاری ریخته می‌شود. | ۲۴ 24 |
He said to them, “This is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many.
| هرآینه به شما می‌گویم بعد از این ازعصیر انگور نخورم تا آن روزی که در ملکوت خدا آن را تازه بنوشم. | ۲۵ 25 |
Most certainly I tell you, I will no more drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it anew in God’s Kingdom.”
| و بعد از خواندن تسبیح، به سوی کوه زیتون بیرون رفتند. | ۲۶ 26 |
When they had sung the Hallel, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
| عیسی ایشان را گفت: «همانا همه شما امشب در من لغزش خورید، زیرامکتوب است شبان را می‌زنم و گوسفندان پراکنده خواهند شد. | ۲۷ 27 |
Yeshua said to them, “All of you will be made to stumble because of me tonight, for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’
| اما بعد از برخاستنم، پیش از شمابه جلیل خواهم رفت. | ۲۸ 28 |
However, after I am raised up, I will go before you into Galilee.”
| پطرس به وی گفت: «هرگاه همه لغزش خورند، من هرگز نخورم.» | ۲۹ 29 |
But Peter said to him, “Although all will be offended, yet I will not.”
| عیسی وی را گفت: «هرآینه به تو می‌گویم که امروز در همین شب، قبل از آنکه خروس دومرتبه بانگ زند، تو سه مرتبه مرا انکار خواهی نمود.» | ۳۰ 30 |
Yeshua said to him, “Most certainly I tell you that you today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.”
| لیکن او به تاکید زیادتر می‌گفت: «هرگاه مردنم با تو لازم افتد، تو را هرگز انکار نکنم.» ودیگران نیز همچنان گفتند. | ۳۱ 31 |
But he spoke all the more, “If I must die with you, I will not deny you.” They all said the same thing.
| و چون به موضعی که جتسیمانی نام داشت رسیدند، به شاگردان خود گفت: «در اینجابنشینید تا دعا کنم.» | ۳۲ 32 |
They came to a place which was named Gethsemane. He said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.”
| و پطرس و یعقوب ویوحنا را همراه برداشته، مضطرب و دلتنگ گردید | ۳۳ 33 |
He took with him Peter, Jacob, and Yochanan, and began to be greatly troubled and distressed.
| و بدیشان گفت: «نفس من از حزن، مشرف بر موت شد. اینجا بمانید و بیدار باشید.» | ۳۴ 34 |
He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.”
| و قدری پیشتر رفته، به روی بر زمین افتاد ودعا کرد تا اگر ممکن باشد آن ساعت از او بگذرد. | ۳۵ 35 |
He went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass away from him.
| پس گفت: «یا ابا پدر، همه‌چیز نزد تو ممکن است. این پیاله را از من بگذران، لیکن نه به خواهش من بلکه به اراده تو.» | ۳۶ 36 |
He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire.”
| پس چون آمد، ایشان را در خواب دیده، پطرس را گفت: «ای شمعون، در خواب هستی؟ آیا نمی توانستی یک ساعت بیدار باشی؟ | ۳۷ 37 |
He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Couldn’t you watch one hour?
| بیدار باشید و دعا کنید تادر آزمایش نیفتید. روح البته راغب است لیکن جسم ناتوان.» | ۳۸ 38 |
Watch and pray, that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
| و باز رفته، به همان کلام دعانمود. | ۳۹ 39 |
Again he went away and prayed, saying the same words.
| و نیز برگشته، ایشان را در خواب یافت زیرا که چشمان ایشان سنگین شده بود وندانستند او را چه جواب دهند. | ۴۰ 40 |
Again he returned and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy; and they didn’t know what to answer him.
| و مرتبه سوم آمده، بدیشان گفت: «مابقی را بخوابید واستراحت کنید. کافی است! ساعت رسیده است. اینک پسر انسان به‌دستهای گناهکاران تسلیم می شود. | ۴۱ 41 |
He came the third time and said to them, “Sleep on now, and take your rest. It is enough. The hour has come. Behold, the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
| برخیزید برویم که اکنون تسلیم‌کننده من نزدیک شد.» | ۴۲ 42 |
Arise! Let’s get going. Behold, he who betrays me is at hand.”
| در ساعت وقتی که او هنوز سخن می‌گفت، یهودا که یکی از آن دوازده بود، با گروهی بسیار باشمشیرها و چوبها از جانب روسای کهنه و کاتبان و مشایخ آمدند. | ۴۳ 43 |
Immediately, while he was still speaking, Judah, one of the twelve, came—and with him a multitude with swords and clubs, from the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders.
| و تسلیم‌کننده او بدیشان نشانی داده، گفته بود: «هر‌که را ببوسم، همان است. او را بگیرید و با حفظ تمام ببرید.» | ۴۴ 44 |
Now he who betrayed him had given them a sign, saying, “Whomever I will kiss, that is he. Seize him, and lead him away safely.”
| و درساعت نزد وی شده، گفت: «یا سیدی، یا سیدی.» و وی را بوسید. | ۴۵ 45 |
When he had come, immediately he came to him and said, “Rabbi! Rabbi!” and kissed him.
| ناگاه دستهای خود را بر وی انداخته، گرفتندش. | ۴۶ 46 |
They laid their hands on him and seized him.
| و یکی از حاضرین شمشیر خود را کشیده، بر یکی از غلامان رئیس کهنه زده، گوشش را ببرید. | ۴۷ 47 |
But a certain one of those who stood by drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.
| عیسی روی بدیشان کرده، گفت: «گویا بر دزد با شمشیرها وچوبها بجهت گرفتن من بیرون آمدید! | ۴۸ 48 |
Yeshua answered them, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to seize me?
| هر روزدر نزد شما در هیکل تعلیم می‌دادم و مرا نگرفتید. لیکن لازم است که کتب تمام گردد.» | ۴۹ 49 |
I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and you didn’t arrest me. But this is so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled.”
| آنگاه همه او را واگذارده بگریختند. | ۵۰ 50 |
They all left him, and fled.
| و یک جوانی باچادری بر بدن برهنه خود پیچیده، از عقب اوروانه شد. چون جوانان او را گرفتند، | ۵۱ 51 |
A certain young man followed him, having a linen cloth thrown around himself over his naked body. The young men grabbed him,
| چادر راگذارده، برهنه از دست ایشان گریخت. | ۵۲ 52 |
but he left the linen cloth and fled from them naked.
| و عیسی را نزد رئیس کهنه بردند و جمیع روسای کاهنان و مشایخ و کاتبان بر او جمع گردیدند. | ۵۳ 53 |
They led Yeshua away to the high priest. All the chief priests, the elders, and the scribes came together with him.
| و پطرس از دور در عقب او می‌آمد تا به خانه رئیس کهنه درآمده، با ملازمان بنشست ونزدیک آتش خود را گرم می‌نمود. | ۵۴ 54 |
Peter had followed him from a distance, until he came into the court of the high priest. He was sitting with the officers, and warming himself in the light of the fire.
| و روسای کهنه و جمیع اهل شورا در جستجوی شهادت برعیسی بودند تا او را بکشند و هیچ نیافتند، | ۵۵ 55 |
Now the chief priests and the whole council sought witnesses against Yeshua to put him to death, and found none.
| زیراکه هرچند بسیاری بر وی شهادت دروغ می‌دادند، اما شهادت های ایشان موافق نشد. | ۵۶ 56 |
For many gave false testimony against him, and their testimony didn’t agree with each other.
| وبعضی برخاسته شهادت دروغ داده، گفتند: | ۵۷ 57 |
Some stood up and gave false testimony against him, saying,
| «ماشنیدیم که او می‌گفت: من این هیکل ساخته شده به‌دست را خراب می‌کنم و در سه روز، دیگری راناساخته شده به‌دست، بنا می‌کنم.» | ۵۸ 58 |
“We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands.’”
| و در این هم باز شهادت های ایشان موافق نشد. | ۵۹ 59 |
Even so, their testimony didn’t agree.
| پس رئیس کهنه از آن میان برخاسته، ازعیسی پرسیده، گفت: «هیچ جواب نمی دهی؟ چه چیز است که اینها در حق تو شهادت می‌دهند؟» | ۶۰ 60 |
The high priest stood up in the middle, and asked Yeshua, “Have you no answer? What is it which these testify against you?”
| اما او ساکت مانده، هیچ جواب نداد. باز رئیس کهنه از او سوال نموده، گفت: «آیا تو مسیح پسرخدای متبارک هستی؟» | ۶۱ 61 |
But he stayed quiet, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed?”
| عیسی گفت: «من هستم؛ و پسر انسان را خواهید دید که برطرف راست قوت نشسته، در ابرهای آسمان می‌آید.» | ۶۲ 62 |
Yeshua said, “I am. You will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of the sky.”
| آنگاه رئیس کهنه جامه خود را چاک زده، گفت: «دیگر‌چه حاجت به شاهدان داریم؟ | ۶۳ 63 |
The high priest tore his clothes and said, “What further need have we of witnesses?
| کفر او را شنیدید! چه مصلحت می‌دانید؟» پس همه بر او حکم کردند که مستوجب قتل است. | ۶۴ 64 |
You have heard the blasphemy! What do you think?” They all condemned him to be worthy of death.
| و بعضی شروع نمودند به آب دهان بروی انداختن و روی او را پوشانیده، او را می‌زدندو می‌گفتند نبوت کن. ملازمان او را می‌زدند. | ۶۵ 65 |
Some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to beat him with fists, and to tell him, “Prophesy!” The officers struck him with the palms of their hands.
| و در وقتی که پطرس در ایوان پایین بود، یکی از کنیزان رئیس کهنه آمد | ۶۶ 66 |
As Peter was in the courtyard below, one of the maids of the high priest came,
| و پطرس راچون دید که خود را گرم می‌کند، بر او نگریسته، گفت: «تو نیز با عیسی ناصری می‌بودی؟ | ۶۷ 67 |
and seeing Peter warming himself, she looked at him and said, “You were also with the Nazarene, Yeshua!”
| اوانکار نموده، گفت: «نمی دانم و نمی فهمم که توچه می‌گویی!» و چون بیرون به دهلیز خانه رفت، ناگاه خروس بانگ زد. | ۶۸ 68 |
But he denied it, saying, “I neither know nor understand what you are saying.” He went out on the porch, and the rooster crowed.
| و بار دیگر آن کنیزک اورا دیده، به حاضرین گفتن گرفت که «این شخص از آنها است!» | ۶۹ 69 |
The maid saw him and began again to tell those who stood by, “This is one of them.”
| او باز انکار کرد. و بعد از زمانی حاضرین بار دیگر به پطرس گفتند: «در حقیقت تو از آنها می‌باشی زیرا که جلیلی نیز هستی ولهجه تو چنان است.» | ۷۰ 70 |
But he again denied it. After a little while again those who stood by said to Peter, “You truly are one of them, for you are a Galilean, and your speech shows it.”
| پس به لعن کردن و قسم خوردن شروع نمود که «آن شخص را که می‌گویید نمی شناسم.» | ۷۱ 71 |
But he began to curse and to swear, “I don’t know this man of whom you speak!”
| ناگاه خروس مرتبه دیگر بانگ زد. پس پطرس را به‌خاطر آمد آنچه عیسی بدو گفته بود که «قبل از آنکه خروس دومرتبه بانگ زند، سه مرتبه مرا انکار خواهی نمود.» و چون این را به‌خاطر آورد، بگریست. | ۷۲ 72 |
The rooster crowed the second time. Peter remembered the words that Yeshua said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.” When he thought about that, he wept.
