داوران 1

۱ 1 و بعد از وفات یوشع واقع شد که بنی‌اسرائیل از خداوند سوال کرده، گفتند: «کیست که برای ما بر کنعانیان، اول برآید و باایشان جنگ نماید؟»

And it was after [the] death of Joshua and they enquired [the] people of Israel by Yahweh saying who? will he go up for us against the Canaanite[s] at the first to engage in battle against him.

۲ 2 خداوند گفت: «یهودابرآید، اینک زمین را به‌دست او تسلیم کرده‌ام.»

And he said Yahweh Judah he will go up here! I have given the land in hand his.

۳ 3 و یهودا به برادر خود شمعون گفت: «به قرعه من همراه من برآی، و با کنعانیان جنگ کنیم، و من نیزهمراه تو به قرعه تو خواهم آمد.» پس شمعون همراه او رفت.

And he said Judah to Simeon brother his come up with me in lot my so let us fight against the Canaanite[s] and I will go also I with you in lot your and he went with him Simeon.

۴ 4 و یهودا برآمد، و خداوندکنعانیان و فرزیان را به‌دست ایشان تسلیم نمود، وده هزار نفر از ایشان را در بازق کشتند.

And he went up Judah and he gave Yahweh the Canaanite[s] and the Perizzite[s] in hand their and they defeated them at Bezek ten thousand man.

۵ 5 و ادونی بازق را در بازق یافته، با او جنگ کردند، وکنعانیان و فرزیان را شکست دادند.

And they found Adoni-Bezek at Bezek and they fought against him and they defeated the Canaanite[s] and the Perizzite[s].

۶ 6 و ادونی بازق فرار کرد و او را تعاقب نموده، گرفتندش، وشستهای دست و پایش را بریدند.

And he fled Adoni-Bezek and they pursued after him and they seized him and they cut off [the] thumbs of hands his and feet his.

۷ 7 و ادونی بازق گفت: «هفتاد ملک با شستهای دست و پا بریده زیر سفره من خورده‌ها برمی چیدند، موافق آنچه من کردم خدا به من مکافات رسانیده است.» پس او را به اورشلیم آوردند و در آنجامرد.

And he said Adoni-Bezek seventy - kings [the] thumbs of hands their and feet their cut off they were gathering up under table my just as I have done so he has repaid to me God and they brought him Jerusalem and he died there.

۸ 8 و بنی یهودا با اورشلیم جنگ کرده، آن راگرفتند، و آن را به دم شمشیر زده، شهر را به آتش سوزانیدند.

And they fought [the] descendants of Judah against Jerusalem and they captured it and they struck it to [the] mouth of [the] sword and the city they sent in fire.

۹ 9 و بعد از آن بنی یهودا فرود شدند تابا کنعانیانی که در کوهستان و جنوب و بیابان ساکن بودند، جنگ کنند.

And after they went down [the] descendants of Judah to fight against the Canaanite[s] [who] dwelt of the hill country and the Negev and the Shephelah.

۱۰ 10 و یهودا بر کنعانیانی که در حبرون ساکن بودند برآمد، و اسم حبرون قبل از آن قریه اربع بود، و شیشای و اخیمان وتلمای را کشتند.

And he went Judah against the Canaanite[s] who dwelt in Hebron and [the] name of Hebron before [was] Kiriath Arba and they defeated Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai.

۱۱ 11 و از آنجا بر ساکنان دبیر برآمد و اسم دبیرقبل از آن، قریه سفیر بود.

And he went from there against [the] inhabitants of Debir and [the] name of Debir before [was] Kiriath Sepher.

۱۲ 12 و کالیب گفت: «آنکه قریه سفیر را زده، فتح نماید، دختر خود عکسه رابه او به زنی خواهم داد.»

And he said Caleb [the one] who he will strike Kiriath Sepher and he will capture it and I will give to him Achsah daughter my to a wife.

۱۳ 13 و عتنیئیل بن قنازبرادر کوچک کالیب آن را گرفت، پس دختر خودعکسه را به او به زنی داد.

And he captured it Othniel [the] son of Kenaz [the] brother of Caleb young more than him and he gave to him Achsah daughter his to a wife.

۱۴ 14 و چون دختر نزد وی آمد او را ترغیب کرد که از پدرش زمینی طلب کند و آن دختر از الاغ خود پیاده شده، کالیب وی را گفت: «چه می‌خواهی؟»

And it was when came she and she incited him to ask from with father her the field and she went down from on the donkey and he said to her Caleb what? [is] to you.

۱۵ 15 به وی گفت: «مرابرکت ده زیرا که مرا در زمین جنوب ساکن گردانیدی، پس مرا چشمه های آب بده.» وکالیب چشمه های بالا و چشمه های پایین را به اوداد.

And she said to him give! to me a blessing for [the] land of the Negev you have given to me and you will give to me springs of water and he gave to her Caleb springs upper and springs lower.

۱۶ 16 و پسران قینی پدر زن موسی از شهرنخلستان همراه بنی یهودا به صحرای یهودا که به جنوب عراد است برآمده، رفتند و با قوم ساکن شدند.

And [the] descendants of [the] Kenite [the] father-in-law of Moses they went up from [the] city of the palm trees with [the] descendants of Judah [the] wilderness of Judah which [is] in [the] Negev Arad and he went and he dwelt with the people.

۱۷ 17 و یهودا همراه برادر خود شمعون رفت، و کنعانیانی را که در صفت ساکن بودند، شکست دادند، و آن را خراب کرده، اسم شهر راحرما نامیدند.

And he went Judah with Simeon brother his and they attacked the Canaanite[s] [who] dwelt of Zephath and they totally destroyed it and he called [the] name of the city Hormah.

۱۸ 18 و یهودا غزه و نواحی‌اش واشقلون و نواحی‌اش و عقرون و نواحی‌اش راگرفت.

And he captured Judah Gaza and territory its and Ashkelon and territory its and Ekron and territory its.

۱۹ 19 و خداوند با یهودا می‌بود، و او اهل کوهستان را بیرون کرد، لیکن ساکنان وادی رانتوانست بیرون کند، زیرا که ارابه های آهنین داشتند.

And he was Yahweh (with *L(abh)*) Judah and it took possession of the hill country for not to dispossess [the] inhabitants of the valley for chariotry of iron [belonged] to them.

۲۰ 20 و حبرون را برحسب قول موسی به کالیب دادند، و او سه پسر عناق را از آنجا بیرون کرد.

And people gave to Caleb Hebron just as he had said Moses and he dispossessed from there three [the] sons of Anak.

۲۱ 21 و بنی بنیامین یبوسیان را که در اورشلیم ساکن بودند بیرون نکردند، و یبوسیان بابنی بنیامین تا امروز در اورشلیم ساکنند.

And the Jebusite[s] [who] dwelt of Jerusalem not they dispossessed [the] descendants of Benjamin and he has dwelt the Jebusite[s] with [the] descendants of Benjamin in Jerusalem until the day this.

۲۲ 22 و خاندان یوسف نیز به بیت ئیل برآمدند، وخداوند با ایشان بود.

And they went up [the] house of Joseph also they Beth-el and Yahweh [was] with them.

۲۳ 23 و خاندان یوسف بیت ئیل را جاسوسی کردند، و نام آن شهر قبل ازآن لوز بود.

And they caused to spy out [the] house of Joseph at Beth-el and [the] name of the city before [was] Luz.

۲۴ 24 و کشیکچیان مردی را که از شهربیرون می‌آمد دیده، به وی گفتند: «مدخل شهر رابه ما نشان بده که با تو احسان خواهیم نمود.»

And they saw those [who] watched a man coming out from the city and they said to him show us please [the] entrance of the city and we will do with you loyalty.

۲۵ 25 پس مدخل شهر را به ایشان نشان داده، پس شهر را به دم شمشیر زدند، و آن مرد را با تمامی خاندانش رها کردند.

And he showed them [the] entrance of the city and they struck the city to [the] mouth of [the] sword and the man and all family his they let go.

۲۶ 26 و آن مرد به زمین حتیان رفته، شهری بنا نمود و آن را لوز نامید که تا امروزاسمش همان است.

And he went the man [the] land of the Hittites and he built a city and he called name its Luz that [is] name its until the day this.

۲۷ 27 و منسی اهل بیت‌شان و دهات آن را و اهل تعنک و دهات آن و ساکنان دور و دهات آن وساکنان یبلعام و دهات آن و ساکنان مجدو ودهات آن را بیرون نکرد، و کنعانیان عزیمت داشتند که در آن زمین ساکن باشند.

And not it took possession of Manasseh Beth Shean and daughters its and Taanach and daughters its and ([the] inhabitants of *Q(K)*) Dor and daughters its and [the] inhabitants of Ibleam and daughters its and [the] inhabitants of Megiddo and daughters its and it was determined the Canaanite[s] to dwell in the land this.

۲۸ 28 و چون اسرائیل قوی شدند، بر کنعانیان جزیه نهادند، لیکن ایشان را تمام بیرون نکردند.

And it was that it became strong Israel and it made the Canaanite[s] into forced labor and certainly not it dispossessed him.

۲۹ 29 و افرایم کنعانیانی را که در جازر ساکن بودند، بیرون نکرد، پس کنعانیان در میان ایشان درجازر ساکن ماندند.

And Ephraim not it dispossessed the Canaanite[s] who dwelt in Gezer and it dwelt the Canaanite[s] in midst its in Gezer.

۳۰ 30 و زبولون ساکنان فطرون وساکنان نهلول را بیرون نکرد، پس کنعانیان در میان ایشان ساکن ماندند، و جزیه بر آنها گذارده شد.

Zebulun not it dispossessed [the] inhabitants of Kitron and [the] inhabitants of Nahalol and it dwelt the Canaanite[s] in midst its and they became forced labor.

۳۱ 31 و اشیر ساکنان عکو و ساکنان صیدون واحلب و اکزیب و حلبه و عفیق و رحوب را بیرون نکرد.

Asher not it dispossessed [the] inhabitants of Acco and [the] inhabitants of Sidon and Ahlab and Aczib and Helbah and Aphek and Rehob.

۳۲ 32 پس اشیریان در میان کنعانیانی که ساکن آن زمین بودند سکونت گرفتند، زیرا که ایشان را بیرون نکردند.

And it dwelt the Asherite[s] in [the] midst of the Canaanite[s] [the] inhabitants of the land for not it dispossessed it.

۳۳ 33 و نفتالی ساکنان بیت شمس و ساکنان بیت عنات را بیرون نکرد، پس در میان کنعانیانی که ساکن آن زمین بودند، سکونت گرفت. لیکن ساکنان بیت شمس و بیت عنات به ایشان جزیه می‌دادند.

Naphtali not it dispossessed [the] inhabitants of Beth Shemesh and [the] inhabitants of Beth Anath and it dwelt in [the] midst of the Canaanite[s] [the] inhabitants of the land and [the] inhabitants of Beth Shemesh and Beth Anath they became for them forced labor.

۳۴ 34 و اموریان بنی دان را به کوهستان مسدودساختند زیرا که نگذاشتند که به بیابان فرود آیند.

And they pressed the Amorite[s] [the] descendants of Dan the hill country towards for not it permitted it to go down to the valley.

۳۵ 35 پس اموریان عزیمت داشتند که در ایلون وشعلبیم در کوه حارس ساکن باشند، و لیکن چون دست خاندان یوسف قوت گرفت، جزیه برایشان گذارده شد.

And it was determined the Amorite[s] to dwell in [the] mountain of Heres in Aijalon and in Shaalbim and it was heavy [the] hand of [the] house of Joseph and they became forced labor.

۳۶ 36 و حد اموریان از سر بالای عقربیم و از سالع تا بالاتر بود.

And [the] border of the Amorite[s] [was] from [the] ascent of scorpions from Sela and up-wards.
