۱ 1 و از کوهستان افرایم شخصی بود که میخا نام داشت.

۲ 2 و به مادر خود گفت: «آن هزار و یکصد مثقال نقره‌ای که از تو گرفته شد، و درباره آن لعنت کردی و در گوشهای من نیز سخن گفتی، اینک آن نقره نزد من است، من آن را گرفتم.» مادرش گفت: «خداوند پسر مرا برکت دهد.»

۳ 3 پس آن هزار و یکصد مثقال نقره را به مادرش رد نمود و مادرش گفت: «این نقره را برای خداوند از دست خود به جهت پسرم بالکل وقف می‌کنم تا تمثال تراشیده و تمثال ریخته شده‌ای ساخته شود، پس الان آن را به تو باز می‌دهم.»

and to return: rescue [obj] thousand and hundred [the] silver: money to/for mother his and to say mother his to consecrate: dedicate to consecrate: dedicate [obj] [the] silver: money to/for LORD from hand my to/for son: child my to/for to make idol and liquid and now to return: rescue him to/for you

۴ 4 وچون نقره را به مادر خود رد نمود، مادرش دویست مثقال نقره گرفته، آن را به زرگری داد که او تمثال تراشیده، و تمثال ریخته شده‌ای ساخت و آنها در خانه میخا بود.

and to return: rescue [obj] [the] silver: money to/for mother his and to take: take mother his hundred silver: money and to give: give him to/for to refine and to make him idol and liquid and to be in/on/with house: home Micah

۵ 5 و میخا خانه خدایان داشت، و ایفود و ترافیم ساخت، و یکی از پسران خود را تخصیص نمود تا کاهن او بشود.

and [the] man Micah to/for him house: temple God and to make ephod and teraphim and to fill [obj] hand: donate one from son: child his and to be to/for him to/for priest

۶ 6 و در آن ایام در اسرائیل پادشاهی نبود و هر کس آنچه درنظرش پسند می‌آمد، می‌کرد.

۷ 7 و جوانی از بیت لحم یهودا از قبیله یهودا و ازلاویان بود که در آنجا ماوا گزید.

۸ 8 و آن شخص ازشهر خود، یعنی از بیت لحم یهودا روانه شد، تاهر جایی که بیابد ماوا گزیند، و چون سیر می‌کردبه کوهستان افرایم به خانه میخا رسید.

۹ 9 و میخا اورا گفت: «از کجا آمده‌ای؟» او در جواب وی گفت: «من لاوی هستم از بیت لحم یهودا، ومی روم تا هر جایی که بیابم ماوا گزینم.»

۱۰ 10 میخااو را گفت: «نزد من ساکن شو و برایم پدر و کاهن باش، و من تو را هر سال ده مثقال نقره و یک دست لباس و معاش می‌دهم.» پس آن لاوی داخل شد.

and to say to/for him Micah to dwell [emph?] with me me and to be to/for me to/for father and to/for priest and I to give: give to/for you ten silver: money to/for day: year and valuation garment and recovery your and to go: went [the] Levi

۱۱ 11 و آن لاوی راضی شد که با او ساکن شود، و آن جوان نزد او مثل یکی از پسرانش بود.

and be willing [the] Levi to/for to dwell with [the] man and to be [the] youth to/for him like/as one from son: child his

۱۲ 12 و میخاآن لاوی را تخصیص نمود و آن جوان کاهن اوشد، و در خانه میخا می‌بود.

and to fill Micah [obj] hand: donate [the] Levi and to be to/for him [the] youth to/for priest and to be in/on/with house: home Micah

۱۳ 13 و میخا گفت: «الان دانستم که خداوند به من احسان خواهد نمود زیرالاوی‌ای را کاهن خود دارم.»

and to say Micah now to know for be good LORD to/for me for to be to/for me [the] Levi to/for priest
