یوحنا 18
| چون عیسی این را گفت، با شاگردان خود به آن طرف وادی قدرون رفت ودر آنجا باغی بود که با شاگردان خود به آن درآمد. | ۱ 1 |
When Jesus had spoken these words, he went out with his disciples over the wadi of the Kidron, where there was a garden, into which he and his disciples entered.
| و یهودا که تسلیم‌کننده وی بود، آن موضع را می‌دانست، چونکه عیسی در آنجا با شاگردان خود بارها انجمن می‌نمود. | ۲ 2 |
Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place, for Jesus often met there with his disciples.
| پس یهودا لشکریان و خادمان از نزد روسای کهنه و فریسیان برداشته، با چراغها و مشعلها و اسلحه به آنجا آمد. | ۳ 3 |
Judas then, having taken a detachment of soldiers and officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons.
| آنگاه عیسی با اینکه آگاه بود از آنچه می‌بایست بر اوواقع شود، بیرون آمده، به ایشان گفت: «که رامی طلبید؟» | ۴ 4 |
Jesus therefore, knowing all the things that were happening to him, went forth, and said to them, "Who are you looking for?"
| به او جواب دادند: «عیسی ناصری را!» عیسی بدیشان گفت: «من هستم!» و یهودا که تسلیم‌کننده او بود نیز با ایشان ایستاده بود. | ۵ 5 |
They answered him, "Jesus the Nazorean." Jesus said to them, "I AM." Judas also, who betrayed him, was standing with them.
| پس چون بدیشان گفت: «من هستم، » برگشته، بر زمین افتادند. | ۶ 6 |
When therefore he said to them, "I AM," they went backward, and fell to the ground.
| او باز از ایشان سوال کرد: «که را می طلبید؟» گفتند: «عیسی ناصری را!» | ۷ 7 |
Again therefore he asked them, "Who are you looking for?" They said, "Jesus the Nazorean."
| عیسی جواب داد: «به شما گفتم من هستم. پس اگر مرامی خواهید، اینها را بگذارید بروند.» | ۸ 8 |
Jesus answered, "I told you that I AM. If therefore you seek me, let these go their way,"
| تا آن سخنی که گفته بود تمام گردد که «از آنانی که به من داده‌ای یکی را گم نکرده‌ام.» | ۹ 9 |
that the word might be fulfilled which he spoke, "Of those whom you have given me, I have lost none."
| آنگاه شمعون پطرس شمشیری که داشت کشیده، به غلام رئیس کهنه که ملوک نام داشت زده، گوش راستش را برید. | ۱۰ 10 |
Simon Peter therefore, having a sword, drew it, and struck the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.
| عیسی به پطرس گفت: «شمشیر خود را غلاف کن. آیا جامی را که پدر به من داده است ننوشم؟» | ۱۱ 11 |
Jesus therefore said to Peter, "Put the sword into its sheath. Am I not to drink the cup which the Father has given me?"
| انگاه سربازان و سرتیبان و خادمان یهود، عیسی را گرفته، او را بستند. | ۱۲ 12 |
So the detachment, the commanding officer, and the officers of the Jewish leaders, seized Jesus and bound him,
| و اول او را نزدحنا، پدر زن قیافا که در همان سال رئیس کهنه بود، آوردند. | ۱۳ 13 |
and led him to Annas first, for he was father-in-law to Caiaphas, who was high priest that year.
| و قیافا همان بود که به یهود اشاره کرده بود که «بهتر است یک شخص در راه قوم بمیرد.» | ۱۴ 14 |
Now it was Caiaphas who advised the Jewish leaders that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.
| اما شمعون پطرس و شاگردی دیگر ازعقب عیسی روانه شدند، و چون آن شاگرد نزدرئیس کهنه معروف بود، با عیسی داخل خانه رئیس کهنه شد. | ۱۵ 15 |
Simon Peter followed Jesus, as did another disciple. Now that disciple was known to the high priest, and entered in with Jesus into the court of the high priest;
| اما پطرس بیرون در ایستاده بود. پس آن شاگرد دیگر که آشنای رئیس کهنه بود، بیرون آمده، با دربان گفتگو کرد و پطرس را به اندرون برد. | ۱۶ 16 |
but Peter was standing at the door outside. So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to her who kept the door, and brought in Peter.
| آنگاه آن کنیزی که دربان بود، به پطرس گفت: «آیا تو نیز از شاگردان این شخص نیستی؟» گفت: «نیستم.» | ۱۷ 17 |
Then the maid who kept the door said to Peter, "Are you also one of this man's disciples?" He said, "I am not."
| و غلامان و خدام آتش افروخته، ایستاده بودند و خود را گرم می‌کردند چونکه هوا سرد بود؛ و پطرس نیز باایشان خود را گرم می‌کرد. | ۱۸ 18 |
Now the servants and the officers were standing there, having made a fire of coals, for it was cold. They were warming themselves. Peter was with them, standing and warming himself.
| پس رئیس کهنه از عیسی درباره شاگردان و تعلیم او پرسید. | ۱۹ 19 |
The high priest therefore asked Jesus about his disciples, and about his teaching.
| عیسی به او جواب داد که «من به جهان آشکارا سخن گفته‌ام. من هر وقت درکنیسه و در هیکل، جایی که همه یهودیان پیوسته جمع می‌شدند، تعلیم می‌دادم و در خفا چیزی نگفته‌ام. | ۲۰ 20 |
Jesus answered him, "I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues, and in the temple, where all the Jewish people come together. I said nothing in secret.
| چرا از من سوال می‌کنی؟ از کسانی که شنیده‌اند بپرس که چه چیز بدیشان گفتم. اینک ایشان می‌دانند آنچه من گفتم.» | ۲۱ 21 |
Why do you ask me? Ask those who have heard what I spoke to them; surely they know what I said."
| و چون این راگفت، یکی از خادمان که در آنجا ایستاده بود، طپانچه بر عیسی زده، گفت: «آیا به رئیس کهنه چنین جواب می‌دهی؟» | ۲۲ 22 |
When he had said this, one of the officers standing by slapped Jesus with his hand, saying, "Do you answer the high priest like that?"
| عیسی بدو جواب داد: «اگر بد گفتم، به بدی شهادت ده؛ و اگرخوب، برای چه مرا می‌زنی؟» | ۲۳ 23 |
Jesus answered him, "If I have spoken evil, testify of the evil; but if well, why do you beat me?"
| پس حنا او رابسته، به نزد قیافا رئیس کهنه فرستاد. | ۲۴ 24 |
Annas sent him bound to Caiaphas, the high priest.
| و شمعون پطرس ایستاده، خود را گرم می‌کرد. بعضی بدو گفتند: «آیا تو نیز از شاگردان او نیستی؟» او انکار کرده، گفت: «نیستم!» | ۲۵ 25 |
Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They said therefore to him, "You are not also one of his disciples, are you?" He denied it, and said, "I am not."
| پس یکی از غلامان رئیس کهنه که از خویشان آن کس بود که پطرس گوشش را بریده بود، گفت: «مگرمن تو را با او در باغ ندیدم؟» | ۲۶ 26 |
One of the servants of the high priest, being a relative of him whose ear Peter had cut off, said, "Did I not see you in the garden with him?"
| پطرس باز انکارکرد که در حال خروس بانگ زد. | ۲۷ 27 |
Peter therefore denied it again, and immediately the rooster crowed.
| بعد عیسی را از نزد قیافا به دیوانخانه آوردند و صبح بود و ایشان داخل دیوانخانه نشدند مبادا نجس بشوند بلکه تا فصح را بخورند. | ۲۸ 28 |
They led Jesus therefore from Caiaphas into the Praetorium. It was early, and they themselves did not enter into the Praetorium, that they might not be defiled, but might eat the Passover.
| پس پیلاطس به نزد ایشان بیرون آمده، گفت: «چه دعوی بر این شخص دارید؟» | ۲۹ 29 |
Pilate therefore went out to them, and said, "What accusation do you bring against this man?"
| در جواب او گفتند: «اگر او بدکار نمی بود، به تو تسلیم نمی کردیم.» | ۳۰ 30 |
They answered him, "If this man weren't an evildoer, we would not have delivered him up to you."
| پیلاطس بدیشان گفت: «شما اورا بگیرید و موافق شریعت خود بر او حکم نمایید.» یهودیان به وی گفتند: «بر ما جایز نیست که کسی را بکشیم.» | ۳۱ 31 |
Pilate therefore said to them, "Take him yourselves, and judge him according to your law." Therefore the Jewish leaders said to him, "It is not lawful for us to put anyone to death,"
| تا قول عیسی تمام گرددکه گفته بود، اشاره به آن قسم موت که باید بمیرد. | ۳۲ 32 |
that the word of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spoke, signifying by what kind of death he should die.
| پس پیلاطس باز داخل دیوانخانه شد وعیسی را طلبیده، به او گفت: «آیا تو پادشاه یهودهستی؟» | ۳۳ 33 |
Pilate therefore entered again into the Praetorium, called Jesus, and said to him, "Are you the King of the Jews?"
| عیسی به او جواب داد: «آیا تو این رااز خود می‌گویی یا دیگران درباره من به توگفتند؟» | ۳۴ 34 |
Jesus answered him, "Do you say this by yourself, or did others tell you about me?"
| پیلاطس جواب داد: «مگر من یهودهستم؟ امت تو و روسای کهنه تو را به من تسلیم کردند. چه کرده‌ای؟» | ۳۵ 35 |
Pilate answered, "I'm not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests delivered you to me. What have you done?"
| عیسی جواب داد که «پادشاهی من از این جهان نیست. اگر پادشاهی من از این جهان می‌بود، خدام من جنگ می‌کردند تا به یهود تسلیم نشوم. لیکن اکنون پادشاهی من از این جهان نیست.» | ۳۶ 36 |
Jesus answered, "My Kingdom is not of this world. If my Kingdom were of this world, then my servants would fight, that I would not be delivered to the Jewish leaders. But now my Kingdom is not from here."
| پیلاطس به او گفت: «مگر توپادشاه هستی؟» عیسی جواب داد: «تو می‌گویی که من پادشاه هستم. از این جهت من متولد شدم وبجهت این در جهان آمدم تا به راستی شهادت دهم، و هر‌که از راستی است سخن مرا می‌شنود.» | ۳۷ 37 |
Pilate therefore said to him, "Are you a king then?" Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. For this reason I have been born, and for this reason I have come into the world, that I should testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice."
| پیلاطس به او گفت: «راستی چیست؟» و چون این را بگفت، باز به نزد یهودیان بیرون شده، به ایشان گفت: «من در این شخص هیچ عیبی نیافتم. | ۳۸ 38 |
Pilate said to him, "What is truth?" When he had said this, he went out again to the Jewish leaders, and said to them, "I find no basis for a charge against him.
| و قانون شما این است که در عید فصح بجهت شما یک نفر آزاد کنم. پس آیا می‌خواهید بجهت شما پادشاه یهود را آزاد کنم؟» | ۳۹ 39 |
But you have a custom, that I should release someone to you at the Passover. Therefore do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?"
| باز همه فریاد برآورده، گفتند: «او را نی بلکه برابا را.» وبرابا دزد بود. | ۴۰ 40 |
Then they shouted again, saying, "Not this man, but Barabbas." Now Barabbas was a robber.
