ایّوب 40

۱ 1

and to answer LORD [obj] Job and to say

۲ 2 «آیا مجادله کننده با قادرمطلق مخاصمه نماید؟ کسی‌که با خدا محاجه کند آن را جواب بدهد.»

to contend with Almighty faultfinder to rebuke god to answer her

۳ 3 آنگاه ایوب خداوند را جواب داده، گفت:

and to answer Job [obj] LORD and to say

۴ 4 «اینک من حقیر هستم و به تو چه جواب دهم؟ دست خود را به دهانم گذاشته‌ام.

look! to lighten what? to return: reply you hand my to set: put upon lip my

۵ 5 یک مرتبه گفتم و تکرار نخواهم کرد. بلکه دو مرتبه و نخواهم افزود.»

one to speak: speak and not to answer and two and not to add: again

۶ 6 پس خداوند ایوب را از گردباد خطاب کرد وگفت:

and to answer LORD [obj] Job (from *QK) (tempest *Qk) and to say

۷ 7 «الان کمر خود را مثل مرد ببند. از توسوال می‌نمایم و مرا اعلام کن.

to gird please like/as great man loin your to ask you and to know me

۸ 8 آیا داوری مرانیز باطل می‌نمایی؟ و مرا ملزم می‌سازی تاخویشتن را عادل بنمایی؟

also to break justice: judgement my be wicked me because to justify

۹ 9 آیا تو را مثل خدابازویی هست؟ و به آواز مثل او رعد توانی کرد؟

and if: surely yes arm like/as God to/for you and in/on/with voice like him to thunder

۱۰ 10 الان خویشتن را به جلال و عظمت زینت بده. و به عزت و شوکت ملبس ساز.

to adorn please pride and height and splendor and glory to clothe

۱۱ 11 شدت غضب خود را بریز و به هرکه متکبر است نظر افکنده، اورا به زیر انداز.

to scatter fury face: anger your and to see: see all proud and to abase him

۱۲ 12 بر هرکه متکبر است نظر کن و اورا ذلیل بساز. و شریران را در جای ایشان پایمال کن.

to see: see all proud be humble him and to tread down wicked underneath: stand them

۱۳ 13 ایشان را با هم در خاک پنهان نما و رویهای ایشان را درجای مخفی محبوس کن.

to hide them in/on/with dust unitedness face their to saddle/tie in/on/with to hide

۱۴ 14 آنگاه من نیز درباره تو اقرار خواهم کرد، که دست راستت تو را نجات تواند داد.

and also I to give thanks you for to save to/for you right your

۱۵ 15 اینک بهیموت که او را باتو آفریده‌ام که علف را مثل گاو می‌خورد،

۱۶ 16 همانا قوت او در کمرش می‌باشد، و توانایی وی در رگهای شکمش.

۱۷ 17 دم خود را مثل سروآزاد می‌جنباند. رگهای رانش بهم پیچیده است.

to sway tail his like cedar sinew (thigh his *QK) to intertwine

۱۸ 18 استخوانهایش مثل لوله های برنجین واعضایش مثل تیرهای آهنین است.

۱۹ 19 او افضل صنایع خدا است. آن که او را آفرید حربه‌اش را به او داده است.

۲۰ 20 به درستی که کوهها برایش علوفه می‌رویاند، که در آنها تمامی حیوانات صحرابازی می‌کنند

۲۱ 21 زیر درختهای کنار می‌خوابد. در سایه نیزار و در خلاب.

underneath: under lotus to lie down: lay down in/on/with secrecy branch: stem and swamp

۲۲ 22 درختهای کنار او را به سایه خود می‌پوشاند، و بیدهای نهر، وی رااحاطه می‌نماید.

۲۳ 23 اینک رودخانه طغیان می‌کند، لیکن او نمی ترسد و اگر‌چه اردن دردهانش ریخته شود ایمن خواهد بود.

۲۴ 24 آیا چون نگران است او را گرفتار توان کرد؟ یا بینی وی را باقلاب توان سفت؟
