اشعیا 46

۱ 1 بیل خم شده و نبو منحنی گردیده بتهای آنها بر حیوانات و بهایم نهاده شد. آنهایی که شما برمی داشتید حمل گشته و بارحیوانات ضعیف شده است.

Bel is bowed downe: Nebo is fallen: their idoles were vpon the beastes, and vpon the cattell: they which did beare you, were laden with a wearie burden.

۲ 2 آنها جمیع منحنی و خم شده، آن بار را نمی توانند رهانیدبلکه خود آنها به اسیری می‌روند.

They are bowed downe, and fallen together: for they coulde not rid them of the burden, and their soule is gone into captiuitie.

۳ 3 ‌ای خاندان یعقوب و تمامی بقیه خاندان اسرائیل که از بطن برمن حمل شده و از رحم برداشته من بوده‌اید!

Heare ye me, O house of Iaakob, and all that remaine of the house of Israel, which are borne of me from the wombe, and brought vp of me from the birth.

۴ 4 وتا به پیری شما من همان هستم و تا به شیخوخیت من شما را خواهم برداشت. من آفریدم و من برخواهم داشت و من حمل کرده، خواهم رهانید.

Therefore vnto olde age, I the same, euen I will beare you vntill the hoare heares: I haue made you: I will also beare you, and I will cary you and I will deliuer you.

۵ 5 مرا با که شبیه و مساوی می‌سازید و مرا با که مقابل می‌نمایید تا مشابه شویم؟

To whom will ye make me like or make me equall, or copare me, that I should be like him?

۶ 6 آنانی که طلا رااز کیسه می‌ریزند و نقره را به میزان می‌سنجند، زرگری را اجیر می‌کنند تا خدایی از آن بسازدپس سجده کرده، عبادت نیز می‌نمایند.

They draw gold out of the bagge and weigh siluer in the balance, and hire a goldsmith to make a god of it, and they bowe downe, and worship it.

۷ 7 آن را بردوش برداشته، می‌برند و به‌جایش می‌گذارند و اومی ایستد و از جای خود حرکت نمی تواند کرد. نزد او استغاثه هم می‌نمایند اما جواب نمی دهد وایشان را از تنگی ایشان نتواند رهانید.

They beare it vpon the shoulders: they carie him and set him in his place: so doeth he stand, and cannot remoue from his place. Though one crie vnto him, yet can he not answere, nor deliuer him out of his tribulation.

۸ 8 این را بیاد آورید و مردانه بکوشید. و‌ای عاصیان آن را در دل خود تفکر نمایید!

Remember this, and be ashamed: bring it againe to minde, O you transgressers.

۹ 9 چیزهای اول را از زمان قدیم به یاد آورید. زیرا من قادرمطلق هستم و دیگری نیست. خدا هستم و نظیرمن نی.

Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none other God, and there is nothing like me,

۱۰ 10 آخر را از ابتدا و آنچه را که واقع نشده از قدیم بیان می‌کنم و می‌گویم که اراده من برقرارخواهد ماند و تمامی مسرت خویش را بجاخواهم آورد.

Which declare the last thing from the beginning: and from of olde, the things that were not done, saying, My counsell shall stand, and I will doe whatsoeuer I will.

۱۱ 11 مرغ شکاری را از مشرق و هم مشورت خویش را از جای دور می‌خوانم. من گفتم و البته بجا خواهم آورد و تقدیر نمودم والبته به وقوع خواهم رسانید.

I call a birde from the East, and the man of my counsell from farre: as I haue spoken, so will I bring it to passe: I haue purposed it, and I will doe it.

۱۲ 12 ‌ای سختدلان که از عدالت دور هستید مرا بشنوید.

Heare me, ye stubburne hearted, that are farre from iustice.

۱۳ 13 عدالت خودرا نزدیک آوردم و دور نمی باشد و نجات من تاخیر نخواهد نمود و نجات را به جهت اسرائیل که جلال من است در صهیون خواهم گذاشت.

I bring neere my iustice: it shall not be farre off, and my saluation shall not tarie: for I wil giue saluation in Zion, and my glory vnto Israel.
