اشعیا 24

۱ 1 اینک خداوند زمین را خالی و ویران می کند، و آن را واژگون ساخته، ساکنانش را پراکنده می‌سازد.

Here! Yahweh [is] about to lay waste the earth and [is] about to devastate it and he will twist surface its and he will scatter inhabitants its.

۲ 2 و مثل قوم، مثل کاهن و مثل بنده، مثل آقایش و مثل کنیز، مثل خاتونش و مثل مشتری، مثل فروشنده و مثل قرض دهنده، مثل قرض گیرنده و مثل سودخوار، مثل سود دهنده خواهد بود.

And it will be as the people as the priest as the servant as master his as the maidservant as mistress her as the buyer as the seller as the lender as the borrower as the creditor as [the one] who a creditor [is] in him.

۳ 3 و زمین بالکل خالی و بالکل غارت خواهد شد زیرا خداوند این سخن را گفته است.

Certainly - it will be laid waste the earth and certainly - it will be plundered for Yahweh he has spoken the word this.

۴ 4 زمین ماتم می‌کند و پژمرده می‌شود. ربع مسکون کاهیده و پژمرده می‌گردد، شریفان اهل زمین کاهیده می‌شوند.

It has dried up it has withered the earth it has languished it has withered [the] world they have languished [the] noble[s] of [the] people of the earth.

۵ 5 زمین زیرساکنانش ملوث می‌شود زیرا که از شرایع تجاوزنموده و فرایض را تبدیل کرده و عهد جاودانی راشکسته‌اند.

And the earth it has been polluted under inhabitants its for they have transgressed laws they have overstepped [the] decree they have broken [the] covenant of perpetuity.

۶ 6 بنابراین لعنت، جهان را فانی کرده است و ساکنانش سزا یافته‌اند لهذا ساکنان زمین سوخته شده‌اند و مردمان، بسیار کم باقی‌مانده‌اند.

There-fore a curse it has consumed [the] earth and they have been held guilty [the] inhabitants in it there-fore they have diminished [the] inhabitants of [the] earth and it will be left humankind of smallness.

۷ 7 شیره انگور ماتم می‌گیرد و مو کاهیده می‌گردد وتمامی شاددلان آه می‌کشند.

It has dried up new wine it has languished [the] vine they have groaned all [the people] joyful of heart.

۸ 8 شادمانی دفها تلف شده، آواز عشرت کنندگان باطل و شادمانی بربطها ساکت خواهد شد.

It has ceased [the] gaiety of tambourines it has stopped [the] uproar of jubilant [people] it has ceased [the] gaiety of [the] harp.

۹ 9 شراب را با سرودهانخواهند آشامید و مسکرات برای نوشندگانش تلخ خواهد شد.

With song not people will drink wine it will be bitter strong drink to [those who] drink it.

۱۰ 10 قریه خرابه منهدم می‌شود وهر خانه بسته می‌گردد که کسی داخل آن نتواندشد.

It has been broken [the] town of formlessness it has been shut up every house from entering.

۱۱ 11 غوغایی برای شراب در کوچه‌ها است. هرگونه شادمانی تاریک گردیده و سرور زمین رفع شده است.

An outcry on wine [will be] in the streets it has become evening all gladness it has departed [the] gaiety of the earth.

۱۲ 12 ویرانی در شهر باقی است ودروازه هایش به هلاکت خرد شده است.

It has remained in the city desolation and ruin it will be crushed [the] gate.

۱۳ 13 زیرا که در وسط زمین در میان قوم هایش چنین خواهدشد مثل تکانیدن زیتون و مانند خوشه هایی که بعد از چیدن انگور باقی می‌ماند.

For thus it will be in [the] midst of the earth in among the peoples like [the] beating of an olive tree like gleanings if it has come to an end [the] grape harvest.

۱۴ 14 اینان آواز خود را بلند کرده، ترنم خواهندنمود و درباره کبریایی خداوند از دریا صداخواهند زد.

They they will lift up voice their they will shout for joy in [the] majesty of Yahweh they will cry aloud from [the] west.

۱۵ 15 از این جهت خداوند را در بلادمشرق و نام یهوه خدای اسرائیل را درجزیره های دریا تمجید نمایید.

There-fore in the east glorify Yahweh in [the] islands of the sea [the] name of Yahweh [the] God of Israel.

۱۶ 16 از کرانهای زمین سرودها را شنیدیم که عادلان را جلال باد. اما گفتم: وا حسرتا، وا حسرتا، وای بر من! خیانت کاران خیانت ورزیده، خیانت کاران به شدت خیانت ورزیده‌اند.

From [the] extremity of the earth songs we have heard splendor [belongs] to the righteous [one] and I said leanness [belongs] to me leanness [belongs] to me woe! to me [those who] act treacherously they act treacherously and treachery [those who] act treacherously they act treacherously.

۱۷ 17 ‌ای ساکن زمین ترس و حفره و دام بر تو است.

Dread and pit and snare [are] on you O inhabitant of the earth.

۱۸ 18 و واقع خواهد شد که هرکه از آواز ترس بگریزد به حفره خواهد افتاد وهر‌که از میان حفره برآید گرفتار دام خواهد شدزیرا که روزنه های علیین باز شده و اساسهای زمین متزلزل می‌باشد.

And it will be the [one who] flees from [the] sound of the dread he will fall into the pit and the [one who] goes up from [the] midst of the pit he will be caught in snare for windows from a high place they have been opened and they have shaken [the] foundations of [the] earth.

۱۹ 19 زمین بالکل منکسرشده. زمین تمام از هم پاشیده و زمین به شدت متحرک گشته است.

Utterly it has been broken the earth utterly it has been split through [the] earth certainly it has been shaken [the] earth.

۲۰ 20 زمین مثل مستان افتان وخیزان است و مثل سایه بان به چپ و راست متحرک و گناهش بر آن سنگین است. پس افتاده است که بار دیگر نخواهد برخاست.

Wildly it will stagger [the] earth like drunkard and it will sway like hut and it will be heavy on it transgression its and it will fall and not it will repeat to rise.

۲۱ 21 و در آن روز واقع خواهد شد که خداوندگروه شریفان را بر مکان بلند ایشان و پادشاهان زمین را بر زمین سزا خواهد داد.

And it will be in the day that he will visit [judgment] Yahweh on [the] host of the height in the height[s] and on [the] kings of the earth on the earth.

۲۲ 22 و ایشان مثل اسیران در چاه جمع خواهند شد و درزندان بسته خواهند گردید و بعد از روزهای بسیار، ایشان طلبیده خواهند شد.

And they will be gathered a gathering prisoner[s] to a pit and they will be shut up at a prison and from an abundance of days they will be visited.

۲۳ 23 و ماه خجل و آفتاب رسوا خواهد گشت زیرا که یهوه صبایوت در کوه صهیون و در اورشلیم و به حضور مشایخ خویش، با جلال سلطنت خواهدنمود.

And it will be abashed the moon and it will be ashamed the sun for he will reign Yahweh of hosts on [the] mountain of Zion and in Jerusalem and before elders his glory.
