اشعیا 14

۱ 1 زیرا خداوند بر یعقوب ترحم فرموده، اسرائیل را بار دیگر خواهد برگزید وایشان را در زمینشان آرامی خواهد داد. و غربا باایشان ملحق شده، با خاندان یعقوب ملصق خواهند گردید.

For the Lord wil haue compassion of Iaakob, and wil yet chuse Israel, and cause them to rest in their owne lande: and the stranger shall ioyne him selfe vnto them, and they shall cleaue to the house of Iaakob.

۲ 2 و قوم‌ها ایشان را برداشته، به مکان خودشان خواهند‌آورد. و خاندان اسرائیل ایشان را در زمین خداوند برای بندگی و کنیزی، مملوک خود خواهند ساخت. و اسیرکنندگان خود را اسیر کرده، بر ستمکاران خویش حکمرانی خواهند نمود.

And the people shall receiue them and bring them to their owne place, and the house of Israel shall possesse them in the land of the Lord, for seruants and handmaids: and they shall take them prisoners, whose captiues they were, and haue rule ouer their oppressours.

۳ 3 و در روزی که خداوند تو را از الم واضطرابت و بندگی سخت که بر تو می‌نهادندخلاصی بخشد واقع خواهد شد،

And in that day when the Lord shall giue thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy feare, and from the sore bodage, wherein thou didest serue,

۴ 4 که این مثل رابر پادشاه بابل زده، خواهی گفت: چگونه آن ستمکار تمام شد و آن جور پیشه چگونه فانی گردید.

Then shalt thou take vp this prouerbe against the King of Babel, and say, Howe hath the oppressor ceased? and the gold thirsty Babel rested?

۵ 5 خداوند عصای شریران و چوگان حاکمان را شکست.

The Lord hath broken the rodde of the wicked, and the scepter of the rulers:

۶ 6 آنکه قوم‌ها را به خشم باصدمه متوالی می‌زد و بر امت‌ها به غضب با جفای بیحد حکمرانی می‌نمود،

Which smote the people in anger with a continuall plague, and ruled the nations in wrath: if any were persecuted, he did not let.

۷ 7 تمامی زمین آرام شده و ساکت گردیده‌اند و به آواز بلند ترنم می‌نمایند.

The whole worlde is at rest and is quiet: they sing for ioye.

۸ 8 صنوبرها نیز و سروهای آزاد لبنان درباره توشادمان شده، می‌گویند: «از زمانی که توخوابیده‌ای قطع کننده‌ای بر ما برنیامده است.»

Also the firre trees reioyced of thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid downe, no hewer came vp against vs.

۹ 9 هاویه از زیر برای تو متحرک است تا چون بیایی تو را استقبال نماید، و مردگان یعنی جمیع بزرگان زمین را برای تو بیدار می‌سازد. و جمیع پادشاهان امت‌ها را از کرسیهای ایشان برمی دارد. (Sheol h7585)

Hel beneath is mooued for thee to meete thee at thy comming, raising vp the deade for thee, euen all the princes of the earth, and hath raised from their thrones all the Kinges of the nations. (Sheol h7585)

۱۰ 10 جمیع اینها تو را خطاب کرده، می‌گویند: «آیاتو نیز مثل ما ضعیف شده‌ای و مانند ماگردیده‌ای.»

All they shall crie, and saie vnto thee, Art thou become weake also as we? art thou become like vnto vs?

۱۱ 11 جلال تو و صدای بربطهای تو به هاویه فرود شده است. کرمها زیر تو گسترانیده شده و مورها تو را می‌پوشانند. (Sheol h7585)

Thy pompe is brought downe to ye graue, and the sounde of thy violes: the worme is spred vnder thee, and the wormes couer thee. (Sheol h7585)

۱۲ 12 ‌ای زهره دخترصبح چگونه از آسمان افتاده‌ای؟ ای که امت‌ها راذلیل می‌ساختی چگونه به زمین افکنده شده‌ای؟

How art thou fallen from heauen, O Lucifer, sonne of the morning? and cutte downe to the grounde, which didest cast lottes vpon the nations?

۱۳ 13 و تو در دل خود می‌گفتی: «به آسمان صعودنموده، کرسی خود را بالای ستارگان خدا خواهم افراشت. و بر کوه اجتماع در اطراف شمال جلوس خواهم نمود.

Yet thou saidest in thine heart, I will ascende into heauen, and exalt my throne aboue beside the starres of God: I will sitte also vpon the mount of the Congregation in the sides of the North.

۱۴ 14 بالای بلندیهای ابرها صعود کرده، مثل حضرت اعلی خواهم شد.»

I wil ascend aboue ye height of the cloudes, and I will be like the most high.

۱۵ 15 لکن به هاویه به اسفلهای حفره فرود خواهی شد. (Sheol h7585)

But thou shalt bee brought downe to the graue, to the sides of the pit. (Sheol h7585)

۱۶ 16 آنانی که تو را بینند بر تو چشم دوخته و درتو تامل نموده، خواهند گفت: «آیا این آن مرداست که جهان را متزلزل و ممالک را مرتعش می‌ساخت؟

They that see thee, shall looke vpon thee and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, and that did shake the kingdomes?

۱۷ 17 که ربع مسکون را ویران می‌نمودو شهرهایش را منهدم می‌ساخت و اسیران خودرا به خانه های ایشان رها نمی کرد؟»

He made the worlde as a wildernesse, and destroied the cities thereof, and opened not the house of his prisoners.

۱۸ 18 همه پادشاهان امت‌ها جمیع هر یک در خانه خود با جلال می‌خوابند.

All the Kings of the nations, euen they all sleepe in glorie, euery one in his owne house.

۱۹ 19 اما تو از قبر خودبیرون افکنده می‌شوی و مثل شاخه مکروه ومانند لباس کشتگانی که با شمشیر زده شده باشند، که به سنگهای حفره فرو می‌روند و مثل لاشه پایمال شده.

But thou art cast out of thy graue like an abominable branch: like the raiment of those that are slaine, and thrust thorowe with a sword, which goe downe to the stones of the pit, as a carkeise troden vnder feete.

۲۰ 20 با ایشان در دفن متحدنخواهی بود چونکه زمین خود را ویران کرده، قوم خویش را کشته‌ای. ذریت شریران تا به ابد مذکورنخواهند شد.

Thou shalt not be ioyned with them in the graue, because thou hast destroied thine owne lande, and slaine thy people: the seede of the wicked shall not be renoumed for euer.

۲۱ 21 برای پسرانش به‌سبب گناه پدران ایشان قتل را مهیا سازید، تا ایشان برنخیزند و در زمین تصرف ننمایند و روی ربع مسکون را از شهرها پر نسازند.

Prepare a slaughter for his children, for the iniquitie of their fathers: let them not rise vp nor possesse the land, nor fil the face of the world with enemies.

۲۲ 22 و یهوه صبایوت می‌گوید: «من به ضدایشان خواهم برخاست.» و خداوند می‌گوید: «اسم و بقیه را و نسل و ذریت را از بابل منقطع خواهم ساخت.

For I wil rise vp against them (sayth the Lord of hostes) and will cut off from Babel the name and the remnant and the sonne, and the nephew, sayth the Lord:

۲۳ 23 و آن را نصیب خارپشتها و خلابهای آب خواهم گردانید و آن رابا جاروب هلاکت خواهم رفت.» یهوه صبایوت می‌گوید.

And I wil make it a possession to ye hedgehogge, and pooles of water, and I will sweepe it with the besome of destruction, sayeth the Lord of hostes.

۲۴ 24 یهوه صبایوت قسم خورده، می‌گوید: «یقین به طوری که قصد نموده‌ام همچنان واقع خواهد شد. و به نهجی که تقدیر کرده‌ام همچنان بجا آورده خواهد گشت.

The Lord of hostes hath sworne, saying, Surely like as I haue purposed, so shall it come to passe, and as I haue consulted, it shall stand:

۲۵ 25 و آشور را در زمین خودم خواهم شکست و او را بر کوههای خویش پایمال خواهم کرد. و یوغ او از ایشان رفع شده، بار وی از گردن ایشان برداشته خواهد شد.»

That I will breake to pieces Asshur in my land, and vpon my mountaines will I treade him vnder foote: so that his yoke shall depart from them, and his burden shall be taken from off their shoulder.

۲۶ 26 تقدیری که بر تمامی زمین مقدر گشته، این است. و دستی که بر جمیع امت‌ها دراز شده، همین است.

This is the counsell that is consulted vpon the whole worlde, and this is the hande stretched out ouer all the nations,

۲۷ 27 زیرا که یهوه صبایوت تقدیرنموده است، پس کیست که آن را باطل گرداند؟ ودست اوست که دراز شده است پس کیست که آن را برگرداند؟

Because the Lord of hostes hath determined it, and who shall disanull it? and his hande is stretched out, and who shall turne it away?

۲۸ 28 در سالی که آحاز پادشاه مرد این وحی نازل شد:

In the yeere that King Ahaz died, was this burden.

۲۹ 29 ‌ای جمیع فلسطین شادی مکن از اینکه عصایی که تو را می‌زد شکسته شده است. زیرا که از ریشه مار افعی بیرون می‌آید و نتیجه او اژدهای آتشین پرنده خواهد بود.

Reioyce not, (thou whole Palestina) because the rod of him that did beat thee, is broken for out of the serpents roote shall come forth a cockatrise, and the fruit therof shalbe a firy flying serpent.

۳۰ 30 و نخست زادگان مسکینان خواهند چرید و فقیران در اطمینان خواهند خوابید. و ریشه تو را با قحطی خواهم کشت و باقی ماندگان تو مقتول خواهند شد.

For the first borne of the poore shall be fed, and the needie shall lie downe in safetie: and I will kill thy roote with famine, and it shall slay thy remnant.

۳۱ 31 ‌ای دروازه ولوله نما! و‌ای شهر فریاد برآور! ای تمامی فلسطین تو گداخته خواهی شد. زیراکه از طرف شمال دود می‌آید و از صفوف وی کسی دور نخواهد افتاد.

Howle, O gate, crie, O citie: thou whole lande of Palestina art dissolued, for there shall come from the North a smoke, and none shalbe alone, at his time appointed.

۳۲ 32 پس به رسولان امت هاچه جواب داده شود: «اینکه خداوند صهیون رابنیاد نهاده است و مسکینان قوم وی در آن پناه خواهند برد.»

What shall then one answere the messengers of the Gentiles? That the Lord hath stablished Zion, and the poore of his people shall trust in it.
