اشعیا 12

۱ 1 و در آن روز خواهی گفت که «ای خداوند تو را حمد می‌گویم زیرا به من غضبناک بودی اما غضبت برگردانیده شده، مراتسلی می‌دهی.

And in that day thou shalt say, I [will] bless thee, O Lord; for thou wast angry with me, but thou hast turned aside thy wrath, and hast pitied me.

۲ 2 اینک خدا نجات من است بر اوتوکل نموده، نخواهم ترسید. زیرا یاه یهوه قوت وتسبیح من است و نجات من گردیده است.»

Behold, my God is my Saviour; I will trust in him, and not be afraid: for the Lord is my glory and my praise, and is become my salvation.

۳ 3 بنابراین با شادمانی از چشمه های نجات آب خواهید کشید.

Draw ye therefore water with joy out of the wells of salvation.

۴ 4 و در آن روز خواهید گفت: «خداوند راحمد گویید و نام او را بخوانید و اعمال او را درمیان قوم‌ها اعلام کنید و ذکر نمایید که اسم اومتعال می‌باشد.

And in that day thou shalt say, sing to the Lord, call aloud upon his name, proclaim his glorious [deeds] among the Gentiles; make mention that his name is exalted.

۵ 5 برای خداوند بسرایید زیراکارهای عظیم کرده است و این در تمامی زمین معروف است.

Sing praise to the name of the Lord; for he has done great [things]: declare this in all the earth.

۶ 6 ‌ای ساکنه صهیون صدا رابرافراشته، بسرای زیرا قدوس اسرائیل در میان توعظیم است.»

Exalt and rejoice, ye that dwell in Sion: for the Holy One of Israel is exalted in the midst of her.
