پیدایش 25

۱ 1 و ابراهیم، دیگر بار، زنی گرفت که قطوره نام داشت.

And he repeated Abraham and he took a wife and name her [was] Keturah.

۲ 2 و او زمران و یقشان و مدان و مدیان و یشباق و شوحا را برای او زایید.

And she bore to him Zimran and Jokshan and Medan and Midian and Ishbak and Shuah.

۳ 3 و یقشان، شبا و ددان را آورد. و بنی ددان، اشوریم و لطوشیم و لامیم بودند.

And Jokshan he fathered Sheba and Dedan and [the] sons of Dedan they were Asshurites and Letushites and Leummites.

۴ 4 و پسران مدیان، عیفا و عیفر و حنوک و ابیداع و الداعه بودند. جمله اینها، اولاد قطوره بودند.

And [the] sons of Midian [were] Ephah and Epher and Hanoch and Abida and Eldaah all these [were] [the] sons of Keturah.

۵ 5 و ابراهیم تمام مایملک خود را به اسحاق بخشید.

And he gave Abraham all that [belonged] to him to Isaac.

۶ 6 اما به پسران کنیزانی که ابراهیم داشت، ابراهیم عطایاداد، و ایشان را در حین حیات خود، از نزد پسرخویش اسحاق، به‌جانب مشرق، به زمین شرقی فرستاد.

And to [the] sons of the concubines who [belonged] to Abraham he gave Abraham gifts and he sent away them from with Isaac son his while still [was] he alive east-ward to [the] land of [the] east.

۷ 7 این است ایام سالهای عمر ابراهیم، که زندگانی نمود: صد و هفتاد وپنج سال.

And these [are] [the] days of [the] years of [the] life of Abraham which he lived one hundred year[s] and seventy year[s] and five years.

۸ 8 و ابراهیم جان بداد، و در کمال شیخوخیت، پیر و سیر شده، بمرد. و به قوم خود ملحق شد.

And he expired and he died Abraham in old age good old and satisfied and he was gathered to kinspeople his.

۹ 9 و پسرانش، اسحاق و اسماعیل، او را در مغاره مکفیله، درصحرای عفرون بن صوحارحتی، در مقابل ممری دفن کردند.

And they buried him Isaac and Ishmael sons his into [the] cave of Machpelah to [the] field of Ephron [the] son of Zohar the Hittite which [is] on [the] face of Mamre.

۱۰ 10 آن صحرایی که ابراهیم، ازبنی حت، خریده بود. در آنجا ابراهیم و زوجه‌اش ساره مدفون شدند.

The field which he had acquired Abraham from with [the] sons of Heth there he was buried Abraham and Sarah wife his.

۱۱ 11 و واقع شد بعد از وفات ابراهیم، که خدا پسرش اسحاق را برکت داد، واسحاق نزد بئرلحی رئی ساکن بود.

And it was after [the] death of Abraham and he blessed God Isaac son his and he dwelt Isaac near Beer Lahai Roi.

۱۲ 12 این است پیدایش اسماعیل بن ابراهیم، که هاجر مصری، کنیز ساره، برای ابراهیم زایید.

And these [are] [the] accounts of Ishmael [the] son of Abraham whom she bore Hagar the Egyptian [the] maidservant of Sarah to Abraham.

۱۳ 13 واین است نامهای پسران اسماعیل، موافق اسمهای ایشان به حسب پیدایش ایشان. نخست زاده اسماعیل، نبایوت، و قیدار و ادبیل ومبسام.

And these [are] [the] names of [the] sons of Ishmael by names their to descendants their [the] firstborn of Ishmael [was] Nebaioth and Kedar and Adbeel and Mibsam.

۱۴ 14 و مشماع و دومه و مسا

And Mishma and Dumah and Massa.

۱۵ 15 و حدار وتیما و یطور و نافیش و قدمه.

(Hadad *LH) and Tema Jetur Naphish and Kedemah.

۱۶ 16 اینانند پسران اسماعیل، و این است نامهای ایشان در بلدان وحله های ایشان، دوازده امیر، حسب قبایل ایشان.

These they [were] [the] sons of Ishmael and these [are] names their by villages their and by encampments their two plus ten princes to tribes their.

۱۷ 17 و مدت زندگانی اسماعیل، صد و سی و هفت سال بود، که جان را سپرده، بمرد. و به قوم خودملحق گشت.

And these [are] [the] years of [the] life of Ishmael one hundred year[s] and thirty year[s] and seven years and he expired and he died and he was gathered to kinspeople his.

۱۸ 18 و ایشان از حویله تا شور، که مقابل مصر، به سمت آشور واقع است، ساکن بودند. و نصیب او در مقابل همه برادران او افتاد.

And they dwelt from Havilah to Shur which [is] on [the] face of Egypt going you Asshur towards on [the] face of all relatives his he fell.

۱۹ 19 و این است پیدایش اسحاق بن ابراهیم. ابراهیم، اسحاق را آورد.

And these [are] [the] accounts of Isaac [the] son of Abraham Abraham he fathered Isaac.

۲۰ 20 و چون اسحاق چهل ساله شد، رفقه دختر بتوئیل ارامی و خواهر لابان ارامی را، از فدان ارام به زنی گرفت.

And he was Isaac a son of forty year[s] when took he Rebekah [the] daughter of Bethuel the Aramean from Paddan Aram [the] sister of Laban the Aramean for himself to a wife.

۲۱ 21 و اسحاق برای زوجه خود، چون که نازاد بود، نزد خداونددعا کرد. و خداوند او را مستجاب فرمود. وزوجه‌اش رفقه حامله شد.

And he prayed Isaac to Yahweh to before wife his for [was] barren she and he was entreated by him Yahweh and she conceived Rebekah wife his.

۲۲ 22 و دو طفل در رحم او منازعت می‌کردند. او گفت: «اگر چنین باشد، من چرا چنین هستم؟» پس رفت تا از خداوندبپرسد.

And they struggled together the children in inward part[s] her and she said if thus why? this [am] I and she went to consult Yahweh.

۲۳ 23 خداوند به وی گفت: «دو امت در بطن تو هستند، و دو قوم از رحم تو جدا شوند. وقومی بر قومی تسلط خواهد یافت، و بزرگ، کوچک را بندگی خواهد نمود.»

And he said Yahweh to her two (nations *Qk) [are] in womb your and two peoples from inward parts your they will separate and a people more than a people it will be strong and [the] great [one] it will serve [the] young [one].

۲۴ 24 و چون وقت وضع حملش رسید، اینک توامان در رحم اوبودند.

And they were completed days her to give birth and there! twins [were] in womb her.

۲۵ 25 و نخستین، سرخ‌فام بیرون آمد، وتمامی بدنش مانند پوستین، پشمین بود. و او راعیسو نام نهادند.

And he came out the first red all of him [was] like a cloak of hair and they called name his Esau.

۲۶ 26 و بعد از آن، برادرش بیرون آمد، و پاشنه عیسو را به‌دست خود گرفته بود. واو را یعقوب نام نهادند. و درحین ولادت ایشان، اسحاق، شصت ساله بود.

And after thus he came out brother his and hand his [was] holding on [the] heel of Esau and he called name his Jacob and Isaac [was] a son of sixty year[s] when fathered them.

۲۷ 27 و آن دو پسر، نموکردند، و عیسو صیادی ماهر، و مرد صحرایی بود. و اما یعقوب، مرد ساده دل و چادرنشین.

And they grew up the lads and he was Esau a man [who] knew hunting a man of [the] open country and Jacob [was] a man quiet [who] dwelt tents.

۲۸ 28 واسحاق، عیسو را دوست داشتی، زیرا که صید اورا می‌خورد. اما رفقه، یعقوب را محبت نمودی.

And he loved Isaac Esau for wild game [was] in mouth his and Rebekah [was] loving Jacob.

۲۹ 29 روزی یعقوب، آش می‌پخت و عیسو وا مانده، از صحرا آمد.

And he had cooked Jacob cooked food and he came Esau from the field and he [was] exhausted.

۳۰ 30 و عیسو به یعقوب گفت: «از این آش ادوم (یعنی سرخ ) مرا بخوران، زیرا که وامانده‌ام.» از این سبب او را ادوم نامیدند.

And he said Esau to Jacob let swallow me please some of the red [stew] the red [stew] this for [am] exhausted I there-fore someone called name his Edom.

۳۱ 31 یعقوب گفت: «امروز نخست زادگی خود را به من بفروش.»

And he said Jacob sell! as the day birthright your to me.

۳۲ 32 عیسو گفت: «اینک من به حالت موت رسیده‌ام، پس مرا از نخست زادگی چه فایده؟»

And he said Esau here! I [am] going to die and for what? this to me [is] a birthright.

۳۳ 33 یعقوب گفت: «امروز برای من قسم بخور.» پس برای او قسم خورد، و نخست زادگی خود را به یعقوب فروخت.

And he said Jacob swear! to me as the day and he swore to him and he sold birthright his to Jacob.

۳۴ 34 و یعقوب نان وآش عدس را به عیسو داد، که خورد و نوشید وبرخاسته، برفت. پس عیسو نخست زادگی خود راخوار نمود.

And Jacob he gave to Esau bread and cooked food of lentils and he ate and he drank and he arose and he went and he despised Esau the birthright.
