حزقیال 4

۱ 1 «و تو نیز‌ای پسر انسان آجری بگیر و آن راپیش روی خود بگذار و شهر اورشلیم را برآن نقش نما.

Thou also sonne of man, take thee a bricke, and lay it before thee, and pourtray vpon it the citie, euen Ierusalem,

۲ 2 و آن را محاصره کن و در برابرش برجها ساخته، سنگری در مقابلش برپا نما و به اطرافش اردو زده، منجنیقها به هر سوی آن برپاکن.

And lay siege against it, and builde a fort against it, and cast a mount against it: set the campe also against it, and lay engins of warre against it rounde about.

۳ 3 و تابه آهنین برای خود گرفته، آن را در میان خود و شهر، دیواری آهنین بگذار و روی خود رابر آن بدار و محاصره خواهد شد و تو آن رامحاصره کن تا آیتی به جهت خاندان اسرائیل بشود.

Moreouer, take an yron pan, and set it for a wall of yron betweene thee and the citie, and direct thy face towarde it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it: this shall be a signe vnto the house of Israel.

۴ 4 پس تو بر پهلوی چپ خود بخواب و گناه خاندان اسرائیل را بر آن بگذار. موافق شماره روزهایی که بر آن بخوابی، گناه ایشان را متحمل خواهی شد.

Sleepe thou also vpon thy left side, and lay the iniquitie of the house of Israel vpon it: according to the nomber of the dayes, that thou shalt sleepe vpon it, thou shalt beare their iniquity.

۵ 5 و من سالهای گناه ایشان را مطابق شماره روزها یعنی سیصد و نود روز بر تونهاده‌ام. پس متحمل گناه خاندان اسرائیل خواهی شد.

For I haue layed vpon thee the yeeres of their iniquitie, according to the nomber of the dayes, euen three hundreth and ninetie dayes: so shalt thou beare the iniquitie of the house of Israel.

۶ 6 و چون اینها را به انجام رسانیده باشی، بازبه پهلوی راست خود بخواب و چهل روزمتحمل گناه خاندان یهودا خواهی شد. هر روزی را به جهت سالی برای تو قرار داده‌ام.

And when thou hast accomplished them, sleepe againe vpon thy right side, and thou shalt beare the iniquitie of the house of Iudah fourtie dayes: I haue appointed thee a day for a yeere, euen a day for a yeere.

۷ 7 و بازوی خود را برهنه کرده، روی به محاصره اورشلیم بدار و به ضد آن نبوت کن.

Therefore thou shalt direct thy face towarde the siege of Ierusalem, and thine arme shalbe vncouered, and thou shalt prophesie against it.

۸ 8 و اینک بندها بر تومی نهم و تا روزهای محاصره ات را به اتمام نرسانیده باشی از پهلو به پهلوی دیگرت نخواهی غلطید.

And beholde, I will lay bands vpon thee, and thou shalt not turne thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the dayes of thy siege.

۹ 9 پس گندم و جو و باقلا و عدس و ارزن وجلبان برای خود گرفته، آنها را در یک ظرف بریزو خوراکی از آنها برای خود بپز و تمامی روزهایی که به پهلوی خود می‌خوابی، یعنی سیصد و نود روز آن را خواهی خورد.

Thou shalt take also vnto thee wheate, and barley, and beanes, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessell, and make thee bread thereof according to the nomber of the dayes, that thou shalt sleepe vpon thy side: euen three hundreth and ninetie dayes shalt thou eate thereof.

۱۰ 10 وغذایی که می‌خوری به وزن خواهد بود، یعنی بیست مثقال برای هر روز. وقت به وقت آن راخواهی خورد.

And the meate, whereof thou shalt eate, shalbe by weight, euen twenty shekels a day: and from time to time shalt thou eate thereof.

۱۱ 11 و آب را به پیمایش یعنی سدس یک هین خواهی نوشید. آن را وقت به وقت خواهی نوشید.

Thou shalt drinke also water by measure, euen the sixt part of an Hin: from time to time shalt thou drinke.

۱۲ 12 و قرصهای نان جو که می‌خوری، آنها را بر سرگین انسان در نظر ایشان خواهی پخت.

And thou shalt eate it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it in the dongue that commeth out of man, in their sight.

۱۳ 13 و خداوند فرمود به همین منوال بنی‌اسرائیل نان نجس در میان امت هایی که من ایشان را به میان آنها پراکنده می‌سازم خواهندخورد.»

And the Lord said, So shall the children of Israel eate their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will cast them.

۱۴ 14 پس گفتم: «آه‌ای خداوند یهوه اینک جان من نجس نشده و از طفولیت خود تا به حال میته یادریده شده را نخورده‌ام و خوراک نجس به دهانم نرفته است.»

Then said I, Ah, Lord God, beholde, my soule hath not bene polluted: for from my youth vp, euen vnto this houre, I haue not eaten of a thing dead, or torne in pieces, neither came there any vncleane flesh in my mouth.

۱۵ 15 آنگاه به من گفت: «بدان که سرگین گاو را به عوض سرگین انسان به تو دادم، پس نان خود را بر آن خواهی پخت.»

Then he said vnto me, Loe, I haue giuen thee bullockes dongue for mans dongue, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.

۱۶ 16 و مرا گفت: «ای پسر انسان اینک من عصای نان را در اورشلیم خواهم شکست و نان را به وزن و عسرت خواهندخورد و آب را به پیمایش و حیرت خواهندنوشید.

Moreouer, he said vnto me, Sonne of man, beholde, I will breake the staffe of bread in Ierusalem, and they shall eate bread by weight, and with care, and they shall drinke water by measure, and with astonishment.

۱۷ 17 زیرا که محتاج نان و آب خواهند شد وبه حیرت بر یکدیگر نظر خواهند انداخت و به‌سبب گناهان خود گداخته خواهند شد.

Because that bread and water shall faile, they shalbe astonied one with another, and shall consume away for their iniquitie.
