خروج 40

۱ 1 و خداوند موسی را خطاب کرده، گفت:

Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

۲ 2 «در غره ماه اول مسکن خیمه اجتماع را برپا نما.

“On the first day of the first month of the new year you must set up the tabernacle, the tent of meeting.

۳ 3 و تابوت شهادت را در آن بگذار. وحجاب را پیش تابوت پهن کن.

You must place the ark of the testimony in it, and you must shield the ark with the curtain.

۴ 4 و خوان رادرآورده، چیزهایی را که می‌باید، بر آن ترتیب نما. و چراغدان را درآور و چراغهایش را آراسته کن.

You must bring in the table and set in order the things that belong on it. Then you must bring in the lampstand and set up the lamps.

۵ 5 و مذبح زرین را برای بخور پیش تابوت شهادت بگذار، و پرده دروازه را بر مسکن بیاویز.

You must put the golden incense altar before the ark of the testimony, and you must put the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.

۶ 6 و مذبح قربانی سوختنی را پیش دروازه مسکن خیمه اجتماع بگذار.

You must put the altar for burnt offerings in front of the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting.

۷ 7 و حوض را در میان خیمه اجتماع و مذبح بگذار، و آب در آن بریز.

You must put the large basin between the tent of meeting and the altar and you must put water in it.

۸ 8 و صحن را گرداگرد برپا کن. و پرده دروازه صحن رابیاویز.

You must set up the courtyard around it, and you must hang up the curtain at the courtyard entrance.

۹ 9 و روغن مسح را گرفته، مسکن را با آنچه در آن است مسح کن، و آن را با همه اسبابش تقدیس نما تا مقدس شود.

You must take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and everything that is in it. You must set it apart and all its furnishings to me; then it will be holy.

۱۰ 10 و مذبح قربانی سوختنی را با همه اسبابش مسح کرده، مذبح راتقدیس نما. و مذبح، قدس اقداس خواهد بود.

You must anoint the altar for burnt offerings and all its utensils. You must set apart the altar to me and it will become very holy to me.

۱۱ 11 و حوض را با پایه‌اش مسح نموده، تقدیس کن.

You must anoint the bronze basin and its base and set it apart to me.

۱۲ 12 و هارون و پسرانش را نزد دروازه خیمه اجتماع آورده، ایشان را به آب غسل ده.

You are to bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent of meeting and you must wash them with water.

۱۳ 13 وهارون را به رخت مقدس بپوشان، و او را مسح کرده، تقدیس نما، تا برای من کهانت کند.

You are to clothe Aaron with the garments that are set apart to me, anoint him and set him apart so that he may serve as my priest.

۱۴ 14 وپسرانش را نزدیک آورده، ایشان را به پیراهنهابپوشان.

You are to bring his sons and clothe them with coats.

۱۵ 15 و ایشان را مسح کن، چنانکه پدرایشان را مسح کردی تا برای من کهانت نماید. ومسح ایشان هر آینه برای کهانت ابدی در نسلهای ایشان خواهد بود.»

You must anoint them as you anointed their father so that they may serve me as priests. Their anointing will make for them a permanent priesthood throughout their people's generations.”

۱۶ 16 پس موسی موافق آنچه خداوند او را امر فرموده بود کرد، و همچنین به عمل آورد.

This is what Moses did; he followed all that Yahweh had commanded him. He did all these things.

۱۷ 17 و واقع شد در غره ماه اول از سال دوم که مسکن برپا شد،

So the tabernacle was set up on the first day of the first month in the second year.

۱۸ 18 و موسی مسکن را برپا نمود، وپایه هایش را بنهاد و تخته هایش را قایم کرد، وپشت بندهایش را گذاشت، و ستونهایش را برپانمود،

Moses set up the tabernacle, put its bases in place, set up its frames, attached its bars, and set up its pillars and posts.

۱۹ 19 و خیمه را بالای مسکن کشید، و پوشش خیمه را بر زبر آن گسترانید، چنانکه خداوند به موسی‌امر نموده بود.

He spread the covering over the tabernacle and put tent over it, as Yahweh had commanded him.

۲۰ 20 و شهادت را گرفته، آن رادر تابوت نهاد، و عصاها را بر تابوت گذارد، وکرسی رحمت را بالای تابوت گذاشت.

He took the covenant decrees and put them into the ark. He also placed the poles on the ark and put the atonement lid on it.

۲۱ 21 وتابوت را به مسکن درآورد، و حجاب ستر راآویخته، آن را پیش تابوت شهادت کشید. چنانکه خداوند به موسی‌امر فرموده بود.

He brought the ark into the tabernacle. He set up the curtain for it to shield the ark of the testimony, as Yahweh had commanded him.

۲۲ 22 و خوان را در خیمه اجتماع به طرف شمالی مسکن، بیرون حجاب نهاد.

He put the table into the tent of meeting, on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the curtain.

۲۳ 23 و نان را به حضور خداوند بر آن ترتیب داد، چنانکه خداوند به موسی‌امر فرموده بود.

He placed the bread in order on the table before Yahweh, as Yahweh had commanded him.

۲۴ 24 و چراغدان را در خیمه اجتماع، مقابل خوان به طرف جنوبی مسکن نهاد.

He put the lampstand into the tent of meeting, across from the table, on the south side of the tabernacle.

۲۵ 25 و چراغها رابه حضور خداوند گذاشت، چنانکه خداوند به موسی‌امر فرموده بود.

He lit the lamps before Yahweh, as Yahweh had commanded him.

۲۶ 26 و مذبح زرین را درخیمه اجتماع، پیش حجاب نهاد.

He put the golden incense altar into the tent of meeting in front of the curtain.

۲۷ 27 و بخورمعطر بر آن سوزانید، چنانکه خداوند به موسی‌امر فرموده بود.

He burned fragrant incense on it, as Yahweh had commanded him.

۲۸ 28 و پرده دروازه مسکن راآویخت.

He hung the curtain at the tabernacle entrance.

۲۹ 29 و مذبح قربانی سوختنی را پیش دروازه مسکن خیمه اجتماع وضع کرد، و قربانی سوختنی و هدیه را بر آن گذرانید، چنانکه خداوند به موسی‌امر فرموده بود.

He put the altar for the burnt offering at the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting. He offered on it the burnt offering and the grain offering, as Yahweh had commanded him.

۳۰ 30 و حوض رادر میان خیمه اجتماع و مذبح وضع کرده، آب برای شستن در آن بریخت.

He placed the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar, and he put water in it for washing.

۳۱ 31 و موسی و هارون وپسرانش دست و پای خود را در آن شستند.

Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and their feet from the basin

۳۲ 32 وقتی که به خیمه اجتماع داخل شدند ونزد مذبح آمدند شست و شو کردند، چنانکه خداوند به موسی‌امر فرموده بود.

whenever they would go into the tent of meeting and whenever they would go up to the altar. They washed themselves, as Yahweh had commanded Moses.

۳۳ 33 و صحن راگرداگرد مسکن و مذبح برپا نمود، و پرده دروازه صحن را آویخت. پس موسی کار را به انجام رسانید.

Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and the altar. He set up the curtain at the courtyard entrance. In this way, Moses finished the work.

۳۴ 34 آنگاه ابر، خیمه اجتماع را پوشانید و جلال خداوند مسکن را پر ساخت.

Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and Yahweh's glory filled the tabernacle.

۳۵ 35 و موسی نتوانست به خیمه اجتماع داخل شود، زیراکه ابربر آن ساکن بود، و جلال خداوند مسکن را پرساخته بود.

Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and because Yahweh's glory filled the tabernacle.

۳۶ 36 و چون ابر از بالای مسکن برمی خاست، بنی‌اسرائیل در همه مراحل خودکوچ می‌کردند.

Whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out on their journey.

۳۷ 37 و هرگاه ابر برنمی خاست، تاروز برخاستن آن، نمی کوچیدند.

But if the cloud did not rise up from the tabernacle, then the people would not travel. They would stay until the day that it was lifted up.

۳۸ 38 زیرا که در روز، ابر خداوند بر مسکن و در شب، آتش بر آن می‌بود، در نظر تمامی خاندان اسرائیل، در همه منازل ایشان.

For Yahweh's cloud was over the tabernacle by day, and his fire was over it by night, in plain view of all the people of Israel throughout their journey.
