خروج 20
| و خدا تکلم فرمود و همه این کلمات را بگفت: | ۱ 1 |
And God spoke all these words, saying:
| «من هستم یهوه، خدای تو، که تو را از زمین مصر و از خانه غلامی بیرون آوردم. | ۲ 2 |
I am the LORD thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
| تو را خدایان دیگر غیر از من نباشد. | ۳ 3 |
Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.
| صورتی تراشیده و هیچ تمثالی از آنچه بالا درآسمان است، و از آنچه پایین در زمین است، و ازآنچه در آب زیر زمین است، برای خود مساز. | ۴ 4 |
Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor any manner of likeness, of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;
| نزد آنها سجده مکن، و آنها را عبادت منما، زیرامن که یهوه، خدای تو می‌باشم، خدای غیورهستم، که انتقام گناه پدران را از پسران تا پشت سوم و چهارم از آنانی که مرا دشمن دارندمی گیرم. | ۵ 5 |
thou shalt not bow down unto them, nor serve them; for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me;
| و تا هزار پشت بر آنانی که مرا دوست دارند و احکام مرا نگاه دارند، رحمت می‌کنم. | ۶ 6 |
and showing mercy unto the thousandth generation of them that love Me and keep My commandments.
| نام یهوه، خدای خود را به باطل مبر، زیراخداوند کسی را که اسم او را به باطل برد، بی‌گناه نخواهد شمرد. | ۷ 7 |
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain.
| روز سبت را یاد کن تا آن راتقدیس نمایی. | ۸ 8 |
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
| شش روز مشغول باش و همه کارهای خود را بجا آور. | ۹ 9 |
Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work;
| اما روز هفتمین، سبت یهوه، خدای توست. در آن هیچ کار مکن، تو و پسرت و دخترت و غلامت و کنیزت وبهیمه ات و مهمان تو که درون دروازه های توباشد. | ۱۰ 10 |
but the seventh day is a sabbath unto the LORD thy God, in it thou shalt not do any manner of work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy man-servant, nor thy maid-servant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates;
| زیرا که در شش روز، خداوند آسمان وزمین و دریا و آنچه را که در آنهاست بساخت، ودر روز هفتم آرام فرمود. از این سبب خداوند روزهفتم را مبارک خوانده، آن را تقدیس نمود. | ۱۱ 11 |
for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested on the seventh day; wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
| پدر و مادر خود را احترام نما، تا روزهای تو درزمینی که یهوه خدایت به تو می‌بخشد، درازشود. | ۱۲ 12 |
Honour thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
| قتل مکن. | ۱۳ 13 |
Thou shalt not murder.
| زنا مکن. | ۱۴ 14 |
Thou shalt not commit adultery.
| دزدی مکن. | ۱۵ 15 |
Thou shalt not steal.
| بر همسایه خود شهادت دروغ مده. | ۱۶ 16 |
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
| به خانه همسایه خود طمع مورز، و به زن همسایه ات وغلامش و کنیزش و گاوش و الاغش و به هیچ‌چیزی که از آن همسایه تو باشد، طمع مکن.» | ۱۷ 17 |
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house; thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his man-servant, nor his maid-servant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
| و جمیع قوم رعدها و زبانه های آتش وصدای کرنا و کوه را که پر از دود بود دیدند، وچون قوم این را بدیدند لرزیدند، و از دوربایستادند. | ۱۸ 18 |
And all the people perceived the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the voice of the horn, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled, and stood afar off.
| و به موسی گفتند: «تو به ما سخن بگو و خواهیم شنید، اما خدا به ما نگوید، مبادابمیریم.» | ۱۹ 19 |
And they said unto Moses: 'Speak thou with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.'
| موسی به قوم گفت: «مترسید زیراخدا برای امتحان شما آمده است، تا ترس اوپیش روی شما باشد و گناه نکنید.» | ۲۰ 20 |
And Moses said unto the people: 'Fear not; for God is come to prove you, and that His fear may be before you, that ye sin not.'
| پس قوم ازدور ایستادند و موسی به ظلمت غلیظ که خدا درآن بود، نزدیک آمد. | ۲۱ 21 |
And the people stood afar off; but Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.
| و خداوند به موسی گفت: «به بنی‌اسرائیل چنین بگو: شما دیدید که ازآسمان به شما سخن گفتم: | ۲۲ 22 |
And the LORD said unto Moses: Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel: Ye yourselves have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.
| با من خدایان نقره مسازید و خدایان طلا برای خود مسازید. | ۲۳ 23 |
Ye shall not make with Me — gods of silver, or gods of gold, ye shall not make unto you.
| مذبحی از خاک برای من بساز، و قربانی های سوختنی خود و هدایای سلامتی خود را از گله ورمه خویش بر آن بگذران، در هر جایی که یادگاری برای نام خود سازم، نزد تو خواهم آمد، و تو را برکت خواهم داد. | ۲۴ 24 |
An altar of earth thou shalt make unto Me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt-offerings, and thy peace-offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen; in every place where I cause My name to be mentioned I will come unto thee and bless thee.
| و اگر مذبحی ازسنگ برای من سازی، آن را از سنگهای تراشیده بنا مکن، زیرا اگر افزار خود را بر آن بلند کردی، آن را نجس خواهی ساخت. | ۲۵ 25 |
And if thou make Me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stones; for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast profaned it.
| و بر مذبح من ازپله‌ها بالا مرو، مبادا عورت تو بر آن مکشوف شود.» | ۲۶ 26 |
Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto Mine altar, that thy nakedness be not uncovered thereon.
